El Viejo y El Mar Hostal y Restaurante

We absolutely and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Viejo Y Mar. David, and his wife Denise, and the staff are welcoming and helpful in every way. The hotel rooms are beautifully designed, clean, comfortable, and perfectly located on the beach near other restaurants and near the paragliding launch site (for all you paragliders). There are other restaurants nearby, but we chose to eat most of our meals right here. Every dish was amazing and the cocktails, especially the hand-crafted mojito, were delicious. I cannot recommend this enough. Oh, and not only does David speak English (very helpful) but also offers a bird watching tour via boat. such a treat!

Place was good and super clean . Was drinking a glass of wine with my wife and owner told me to turn off my music in which my speaker was playing super low. In which I turned it off because of the other guest that was sleeping, mean while the night beanie people was celebrating a party the night before, pool water was extremely cold. Didn’t had the chance to eat there. Parking is s available inside the garage hotel.

Good seafood is wonderful ! David, Denise and staff are great hosts! The beer is always cold and the seafood excellent.

El viejo y el mar is a cozy and warm hostel with amazing food! It is right in front of the sea and the view is marvelous. The owners David and Denisse are super friendly and welcoming, and were always available for any request and advice on what to visit or do. Our room has a balcony with an incredible view of the ocean. The cocktails tastes as good as the y look and the food is delicious and innovative.

A reliably delicious option for all your meals when visiting Crucita La Bella. Davide the owner is fluent in both Spanish and English, and he and his chef demonstrate the language of hunger satisfied, with both local and gringo favorites. Davide is also an excellent tour guide, and quite an aficionado of rock n roll to boot ( and mixes a mean cocktail to go along with his cerveza selection ). Have not stayed in the hostal ( yet ) but am sure the accommodations and hospitality will not disappoint !

Best accommodation in town! Love the attention, the owner is so nice and the food is amazing. Right in front of the sea you have a great view and all the rooms have a/c and DirecTV. Perfect for vacation
