Hotel El Xalli

Possibly one of the best dorms I’ve ever stayed. Big comfy beds and aircon on point! The pool area is really beautiful and cozy, and it’s around 15 mints walk to the main beaches and restaurants. Perfect if you want to enjoy the views a bit apart from the village! Missing hot water as of now, but so is all El Salvador.

This is the best place to stay in La Liberdad. Family friendly and the staff are even kinder. The food is delicious, I recommend the burrito. My son loved the pool, and it was relaxing for us. In addition, the staff go out of their way to make your comfortable and give you great suggestions on where to go. Special thanks to Kelly who helped us get into a room early. The rooms are very clean, have hot water and great kitchen set up… and most importantly A/C. Will definitely be back for another great experience

We only stayed one night but the staff made it our best first experience in El Salvador! Our flight was very early but they accommodated us with a place to keep our luggage and clean towels for a shower to freshen up while we waited for checkin. During this time we ordered one of the most delicious breakfasts! They made it super easy to order from them. Our room was clean, stylish and comfortable for a couple and +1 adult. We will definitely go back and enjoy a longer stay at this amazing location!

The hotel is new, and the rooms in the apartment are stylish and spacious. The balcony is large, and from ours we had a fantastic ocean view. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything needed for everyday living. There are two swimming pools in the common area. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful — many thanks to them! El Zonte Beach is close by.

I’ve stayed at this hotel multiple times, and it’s always a great experience. The rooms and beds are very clean, and I love that each room has a fully equipped kitchen it makes the stay so much more comfortable. The atmosphere is quiet and relaxing, and they even serve breakfast, which is a nice bonus. If it helps, I have stayed in multiple hotels in La libertad, el zonte & I am very picky when it comes to cleanliness. I do not want sticky floors, and dirty bedsheets. ||It is close to one of my favorite beaches, El Zonte. It’s a private beach, not many people. |What really makes this place special, though, is the people. The manager and Alexandra are amazing — they truly go above and beyond to make sure you’re comfortable and have everything you need. Everyone here is so friendly and welcoming. I think that’s why I keep going back. It truly makes a difference to have Good people, that make you feel safe & heard. ||I highly recommend this hotel if you’re looking for a peaceful, clean, and well-managed place to stay near El Zonte.

El Xalli is a peaceful and relaxing place to stay in El Zonte. The environment is calm and spacious, and it stays wonderfully quiet at night—perfect if you’re looking for a tranquil escape. The staff are very friendly, and the entire property is clean and well maintained. I stayed in a shared room, and the beds were comfortable and clean . In the evenings, I loved relaxing by the pool; it has a very chill vibe. One thing to note is that the hotel is about a 20-minute walk from the center of El Zonte. Whether that’s a downside depends on what you prefer. I didn’t mind too much—during the day I often walked (though it can get hot), and other times I took an Uber, which wasn’t expensive. I chose not to walk at night because the road gets quite dark. Overall, I definitely recommend El Xalli if you’re looking for a quiet, relaxing stay away from the busier part of town. It’s a lovely spot to unwind.

WE LOVED our stay. We stayed in one of the apartments and it was lovely. Clean. Comfortable and the staff was amazing. |Location would be a little tricky without a vehicle but we had motos. We wished there was better evening time food but the included breakfast was amazing.

Absolute dream stay! Away from the hustle and bustle, secluded and upscale with a beautiful pool and lounging area. My villa is superb. Added a second night! Awesome breakfast by the pool
