Ela the owner is the nicest person, very welcoming, friendly and kind! We enjoyed not only traditional inside yard, but a beautiful garden full of flowers & soft grass. After days full of activities, lying down in the grass and watching stars was beautiful. Hotel is in a very quiet area, 5 minutes walking from main attractions. The bed linen and towels are clean. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare breakfast. Dear Ela, thank you very much for everything and see you next year!!! ❤️

Characteristic family-run guesthouse, strategically located not far from the centre of Sibiu but in an absolutely quiet area. The room was well sized and with plenty of space available, despite the sloping roof not very comfortable but acceptable; the facilities are minimal but in line with the absolutely reasonable price for the area. The little courtyard outside and the covered terrace are really an added value, especially in summer; the guesthouse does not offer breakfast but there is a kitchenette (admittedly not very well stocked with cutlery such as spoons) in which to prepare it if you want. Highly recommended.

The location is great, very close to the old town. Overall, it offers a decent stay, with clean bathroom and bed sheets, what is most important. The kitchen offers basic facilities. For us, taking into account the fact that we travelled during summer time (seems like a lot of guests complain about heating and the hosts being too ungenerous), the only negative aspect is the unwelcoming hostess. We felt very unconfortable because of her. She wasn’t the kindest hostess you would expect to find, in order for the experience to be complete. Therefore, because of this, I would choose another stay next time we visit the beautiful Sibiu.

SUPER nice, cozy and peaceful place. If you're looking for a place to stay for a day or two, even for a whole vacation, this place would be ideal. It is located at walking distance from the Bridge of Lies, The Council Tower and all the other great touristic attractions in the Sibiu Historic Center. It has a kitchen with all the appliances necessary to cook and/or keep your favorite food and drinks. It also have a beautiful back yard where you can relax after an exhausting day or simply to enjoy the peacefulness of it. The very nice, respectful and friendly personnel will make sure your stay will be one of the best experiences in your life. We were profoundly impressed by this place and we will definitely come back when we'll be traveling in this area.

A little difficult to find as it is in old town with lots of one way streets. Room was very comfortable with central heating if needed. Coffee/ tea facilities in shared space. Also two lovely outdoor areas to eat in or read a book. Staff exceptionally friendly and helpful. This pension deserves all the good ratings that it gets. It is definitely a pension, not a four star hotel (furnishings quaint and not serviced). But it is superbly located close (7 mins slow walk) to the centre of old town and a very good choice. it has safe on street parking. Would certainly stay again and recommend

Beautiful rustic place, very,VERY clean,offers daily clean, amazing location-close to everything!(10 mins walking from train station, 5 mins from the rest of what’s to visit and sightsee).|It offers a common kitchen(may store foods,drinks,prepare), internet,heat(winter when we went), hair dryer, clean towels daily,tv with cable, nice big room and again-affordable with awesome features and perfect location! |All the way from Florida-very much enjoyed ourselves! |Super friendly staff,very nice people! Accepts cash and card. |I give 5 stars-highly recommend!

We were accommodated for a few days at Pension Ela and we liked it a lot. The children were able to play in the yard, on the grass, the room was very clean and a great atmosphere. Located close to the historic center, on a quiet and clean street.

Great place, great host.
