Elafonisi Resort by Kalomirakis Family

Super nice little abode. The hosts were super friendly and helpful. We only stayed for 1 night in order to explore elafonisi. Walking distance to a quiet selection of restaurants and supermarkets and a short walk to the stunning elafonisi beach. What I held closest to my heart is that the lady host looks after the local cats and kittens which is always a very admirable trait. We are super happy here. The accomodation is small but cosy and has everything you need. It's recently built by the looks of things and there is parking right next to it. It's in a super quiet location. We even had complimentary coffee and sugar, soap and shampoo. There were 3 beds also if needed. Yes it is small but it was absolutely perfect for us and we could have happily stayed a few nights if it wasn't for our crazy schedule of visiting as many places as we could in a week.

The entire outdoor seating area of the restaurant is full of flies as this fast food place tries to be a fresh sea food olace too (without success). Charging kids €3.5 for icecream that is €1.25 in Xania! They own the "souvenirs" store too where they try to rip you off on your way to the beach.

We stayed here for 3 nights from 28 August. The hotel location is fantastic, just 7/8 mins walk to the elafonisi lagoon. The room was spacious and clean. The food in the restaurant was just fantastic. The service provided by the reception team and the restaurant is perfect. Our special thanks to Zoi who was helpful beyond what you would expect from a hotel. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We had room 14 with an Olive Grove view. The room and the patio and the bathroom were all huge. The bathroom appeared to accommodate disabled people. The bed was king size and firm with a soft pillow top. There was plenty of space to lay your luggage. There’s a tiny safe but it’s quite high and you really don’t need it. It’s walking distance to the pink sand of Elafonisi Beach. There is plenty of parking on site. The room was very modern and clean. There is a fridge with a bottle of water and a hair dryer in the room. There were 4 pillows with 2 more in the closet. There’s a really good restaurant on site that’s open till 10 pm. Harry, the receptionist was very jovial and helpful. The stars at night are the best we’ve ever seen. Sleeping here was really quiet.

Pros:||Great location, within walking distance of Elafonisi Beach.||Modern room (we stayed in the 20 sqm one) with a balcony and clothes horse outside.||Friendly staff. Nice with stray cats getting food ans water from the staff to survive.||Nice restaurant downstairs with delicious food.||The room was well equipped with a coffee machine, kettle, iron, safe, hair dryer, air conditioning, and TV.||Cons:||We had to go to reception daily to get coffee capsules and sugar, as these were not replenished in the room. Also, note that the coffee capsules provided are not compostable.||No hair conditioner. The bathroom had toilet paper and small plastic bottles of shampoo/shower gel (not very eco-friendly, which is a shame given the remote and natural location).||We received two small solid soaps on day one but none after that, which was odd — we had to go to reception to ask for these basic items.

Great service and lovely room with a great showerhead and a comfy bed. I also had a gorgeous view of the ocean on Elafonisi beach. The hotel is connected to their amazing taverna where I ate my meals. The location is so great - just a few steps from the walkway to Elafonisi. Very grateful to have stayed here! The staff were also knowledgeable and kind. Parking is very convenient on the property.

I strongly believe there is no better option available if you want to spent the night close to Elafonisi beach. Rooms were beautiful renovated, breakfast at the restaurant was perfect. Convenient private parking with shade, friendly staff and whisper quit at night. Just a few minutes walk from the beach so sun bed and umbrella assured 🤗 Would book again for sure.

The people at reception were kind and welcoming and got me into a beautiful room very promptly even though I showed up cold and weary on a rainy day with no reservation. It was an extremley peaceful, relaxing and comfortable place. I enjoyed my stay very much, thank you🙏🏼
