Elafonisi village

We stayed at Elafonisia Village at the end of July and absolutely loved it. It’s the best place to enjoy the beach, as it’s the closest accommodation to the shore and offers the best views of it. Flori is incredibly hospitable, and we truly felt at home. After spending time at the beach, you can relax by the beautiful pool. The place is simple, but its real luxury lies in its unbeatable location and the warmth of the welcome.

Stayed one night to experience Elafonisi Beach. The room we had was gorgeous, with a rooftop terrace boasting the most gorgeous views! ||The room was extremely clean and spacious, which would easily be suitable for a weeks stay due to the fantastic kitchenette area.||The infinity pool was fabulous, something comparable to a Hollywood mansion! ||We loved the small relaxed vibe of it and felt so lucky to have just a short stroll to and from Elafonisi Beach as it’s the nearest hotel.||Would absolutely stay again if visiting Elafonisi.

The beach is amazing. The apartments are located just a 5-10 minute walk from Elafonisi beach. The apartments (family room) are spacious for 3or 5 people, have a nice cooking area and have cleaning every other day. The pool is great, overflowing to the beach / parking lot, coated in stone ceramic with 1.4 m depth and a 0.6 kids section. We were lucky to have the apartment with a spacious private terrace with two sunbeds, but all rooms have private seating space outside and there is plenty of public space with sunbeds outside. There is no better located property at Elafonisi. Disliked · Just small details like the bed linen could be better, the supermarket prices around are pretty high and the rooms can get quite warm at night with the captured heat during the day but the ac solved that easily.

The location of this hotel is perfect and the room was fine; clean and comfortable bed. The kitchen equipment was non existent but we didn’t need much. Also the fridge was so noisy we had to turn it off over night. It was the staff (owner/manager) that let it down. Just unwelcoming and totally disinterested! Couldn’t even be bothered to get out of her chair to see us in. Just said ‘key is in the door’. Same with the taverna staff, they couldn’t care less whether you were there or not. Such a shame for a great location.

One of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had – completely unreliable I had booked a room and was told upon arrival to wait until 2 PM while they prepared it. Fair enough. But at 2 PM, they casually informed me that they had given the room to someone else. No real apology, no proper alternative, just an awkward “sorry.” Absolutely unacceptable. A total lack of professionalism and respect for guests. I’ve traveled a lot, and while delays can happen, having a reserved room given away after making me wait for hours is beyond ridiculous. If you want to avoid stress, wasted time, and terrible service, do yourself a favor and book elsewhere. This place is a perfect example of how not to run a hotel. Never again.

Stayed one night . Got the bus from Chania that arrives about 11 . The hotel lets us leave overnight bags no problem . Everyone here was lovely. Such a beautiful setting .ended up having breakfast lunch and dinner . Room was lovely with a refurbished bathroom . Access to a modern new pool which they let us use til bus at 4pm . Completely recommend

This small hotel went out of the way to accomodate us last minute. It is linked to a lovely restaurant with views over the sea and beach. It is a quiet oasis away from the crowds. The swimming pool is an added bonus. We had a family room which was perfect, the main bedroom is enclosed for privacy.

The rooms are clean but poorly maintained and the sofa collapsed under me as the bolts were missing and the frame broken. The hotel didn't seem to care when I reported it.|Although it's the closest accommodation to the beach I would stay somewhere else and do a longer walk.|The food on the attached taverna was poor.
