Totally content of the location, the service of the employees and the taste of the coffee. Absolutely worth of keep visiting it.

I love the coffee , quality is great, and the service and the staff. What I don’t love is that I always have to experience, no matter if I’m there on Monday morning or on a Saturday afternoon, the plague of helicopter mothers occupying the whole space with their 10 by 10 square feet baby carriers and baboe giant child carriers !!!! Yes, THAT ARE ALL INSIDE THAT TINY CAFE . What’s next ?! you park your car inside the cafe ?! The whole of Uhlenhorst, Eppendorf and Mühlenkamp helicopter mothers are drinking coffee there for ages :)) like what’s up with you ?! I know you don’t sleep and need coffee but buy the coffee and proceed with your very loud child and the carriage that occupies space people might want to use . And no, you aren’t entitled to have it just because you pushed a child out of you and into this world . I think these cafes should have rules for this . Of course , your life can revolve around that baby, mine doesn’t . These moms and dads, can stay but leave the damn carriage out and if you sit there 3 hours with an espresso with a crying baby, ma’am you definitely don’t know what’s up with that baby and should take a 101 mother care course . I have children myself, but I don’t hinder anyone with them and get on the nerves of an entire cafe.

Amazing place with intense specialty coffee, fresh pastries and tasty sandwiches. You certainly need to pay the price for these, but it worth it. The shop has a chilled atmosphere, plenty of places to sit and the service is nice too.

The coffee is lovely. Food is good. service at the cashiers is super fast and friendly, even with queues. could have another coffee machine though, as that is where people end up having to wait. I had asked if someone could fill up the water jugs and we could have water glasses. No problem on the jugs, but the lady I asked for the cups gave me the, to me, most inauthentic looking smile ever, answering ‘They are in the machine and will come out soon’, leaving me feeling like I had been bugging her. Gave me the ick, tbh. If something else was bugging her, fine. I would have preferred to not be the butt of her frustrations, having asked once and politely. That left me waiting in the already crowded area near the coffee hand-outs, where her colleague at the cashier checked again whether I had everything I needed, which was really lovely of her.

Elbgold never disappoints. Coffee top-notch and a cozy atmosphere around their coffee. Some nice sweets are available as well.

One of the better cafés in Hamburg but could be better though. For instance, the americano/long black we ordered was served without a trace of crema. The mocha tasted great but I felt the coffee was drowned by the chocolate taste, perhaps a stronger blend or one extra shot of espresso would do the trick. The chocolate cake was really good in my opinion (right amount of moist) and the service was quick every during the peak times.

One of the best coffees in Hamburg, nice spot with plenty of seating inside and outside.

Being from Portugal and used to a good coffee, this is the only place I trust to drink my coffee and cappuccino. Not only the best coffee from Hamburg but also the best Franzbrötchen 🙌

Best coffee in Hamburg. They have a really good franzbrotchen too (psa it is quite big) Bring your own cup and they give a small discount on your drink :)
