Good experience, made getting around the island very easy. I stayed in St. George's, which is a bit far out from a lot of the attractions in Bermuda, which made renting a scooter essential. Scootering around proved to be convenient, and affordable compared to options like the bus or taxis. I rented the large scooter for 5 days total, with the comprehensive insurance, which cost about $400 and put ~150-200 km on it in that time. The scooter was able to haul a combined weight of ~315 lbs all over the island reasonably well. The hills were a challenge for the scooter, but that was expected. Gas mileage was good, and the bike worked well overall minus a couple hiccups. There were a few times that it took several attempts to start the scooter. Additionally, the battery and oil lights came on during our 2nd day, but nothing came of that, and we were given the all clear by the staff at the rental place. Now, I will say that we paid a higher price than competitors by going with elbow beach, however, from the reviews I read, and people I talked to, the bikes at elbow beach cycles are superior in quality and the customer service is better, so it's up to you if you think it's worth the eextra price. Overall, good, but not flawless experience. Would recommend to any would be travelers.
