It's a great townie bar with very friendly staff.

The Elbow is a Blast From The Past ! A neighborhood bar located in Agawam for many years . Drinks only unless a Special Occasion. Older Building but nice and clean . Very reasonable prices for Beer and other liquor . Always very nice Employees! No Lottery there but you can go in next store and buy tickets or keno . Local crowd in Bar .

Keep your expectations low and you will have fun. Very nice locals hang out here. Introduce yourself and hang out. This place is part of Agawam history and could use some paint in places. Drinks are cheap and the beer is cold.

It's a great place, and location been open for over 50 year's the Elbow seats about 50 people the owners name is Ray it's a nice place to relax and meet new friends

For me it's the best since Ray the owner is a friend I feel comfortable here ! It's not fancy by any means but the company is good!

No food. Atmosphere always enjoyable

Not the cleanest looking, old they smoke in the a.m. in there. Smell not good . Needs to be overhauled. Friendly people.

My first experience at the Elbow was Sunday 5/5. They had a Celebration of Life for my Nephew Stephen. Shortly after I arrived and spoke with friends and other family members, I was told that owner, ( I believe her name is Lorie if I am wrong I apologize) donated her facility and food free of charge. Who does that this day and age ? I soon found out Stephen was a well loved part of the family there. I want to thank Lorie ??, her staff and all the patrons for their support and friendliness. To anyone that drives by this place because it doesn't look as fancy as you may like, you are missing out on a great time. If I lived closer I would enjoy spending time there.

Seldom we as common townfolk can stumble upon an establishment unweathered by the changing of times and get an old fashioned beer and a shot with some welcome old neighborhood friends. Slight tears in the old bar stools, the dim lighted inside that takes a minute or two for your eyes to adjust and the welcome face of a bartender that is happy for you to join the party is certainly the old agawam experience. If you are looking for craft beers on tap or seating for a large party - keep looking. The Elbow features just bottled beer, all your favorite shots and on special occasion they will cater food. (Easter, thankgiving, superbowl, ect). So stroll in, enjoy the atmosphere and bump your elbows with the guy next to you! Cheers!

Have you ever experienced an evening so incrediable that when you wake up in such disarray laying in the fetal position upon a damp, moldy, beer and gin stain carpet that you accept the fact that you are actually contemplating eatting the buffalo wing and lays next to your head from hours previous? Well I have an evening such as this and it all began not at the elbow but at a fine establishment with more expensive drinks and a lot better food. I'd begin at Murphy's Pub where I had some delicious wings and many a drinks my wallet began to grow Slim so I began my drunken hitch hiking adventure in search for a cheap Watering Hole where I can continue to drown the sorrows of my life by searching the depths of every cup encounter. So after being envolved in more hobo fights than i am proud to tell my kids about I ended up at the elbow aptly named for the fact of the minimal elbow room between large bikers with beards that glistened in the light of flickering florescent and smell of the hobos I had just fought. Never the less I sat at the bar giving the uni-breasted bartender the look of thirst and desire, I began to drink until my liver grew weak necrosis and finally blacking out. the atmosphere was terrible, the fear of being shived made the Nostalgia of my childhood almost unbearable. Overall five stars will go back again to the only carpeted bar I know of in Agawam
