Elcielo Hotel Luxury Medellin

Our stay at El Cielo was absolutely incredible! The staff went above and beyond in every way—so attentive, thoughtful, and organized. They coordinated everything for us, from a hair salon appointment for a wedding we attended, to arranging rides, and so much more. Their hospitality truly made the experience seamless and stress-free.||We also enjoyed a wonderful massage during our stay, which was the perfect way to relax. The rooms were extremely comfortable, beautifully maintained, and the entire hotel was spotless.||El Cielo exceeded all expectations, and we can’t recommend it enough. We will definitely be back!

From the moment we arrived, El Cielo Hotel exceeded all expectations. The property is beautifully designed. The staff deserves special recognition. Everyone we interacted with was attentive and genuinely friendly. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was seamless, offering great recommendations and anticipating our needs before we even asked.||We also had the opportunity to go to the restaurant and the tasting menu was truly AMAZING. Every course told a story. Presentation was absolutely stunning, blending art with gastronomy. Yes, it’s a splurge, but worth every penny for a once-in-a-lifetime dining adventure.

Mixed review really. The hotel is in a great location. However the price it charges does not match the service you receive. Breakfast orders were not quite right, our room wasn’t serviced when we returned at 15:00, we tried not to make a fuss and ordered some fresh towels - they brought us soap instead, they had not made a record of our dinner reservations - it was all just a little disappointing. The service let the hotel and its amenities down a little.

Would easily recommend anybody visiting Medellín to stay at Elcielo and utilize all of their amenities. One of the best traveling experiences I’ve had.

This was my very first solo travel experience, and I couldn’t be happier that I chose El Cielo Hotel Medellín. From the moment I arrived, the staff treated me with such warmth and attentiveness (especially once they realized I was traveling alone). I never once felt out of place; instead, I felt looked after and truly at home.||The hotel itself is stunning, down to every thoughtful detail. My room felt lavish! My room had a deep bathtub that was perfect for unwinding. I loved the complimentary minibar, which included daily restocks of beer, mocktails, and snacks (yes, all free!). The pool area quickly became my little sanctuary during the day. I love to lap swim and portion of the pool looks directly bleow to hotel lobby and monsteras! The drinks are also delicious. It is luxury. The hotel is a prime location. I walked everywhere, and as a woman traveling solo, I felt very safe doing so.||The food is excellent across the board. Breakfast gave me the choice of going light and healthy or leaning into local dishes. The last two mornings I went local! And if you’re staying here, you must do the Michelin-starred dining experience at El Cielo. It was a highlight of my trip. This experience consists of beautifully curated courses that tell the story of Colombia’s diverse regions and culture. Was impressed and felt very connected my culture.

They not only ensured everything ran smoothly but also helped me secure reservations for the El Cielo dining experience, arranged a massage right in the hotel, lined up a private tour guide, and even coordinated transportation to and from airport. Their care and attention made me feel truly supported throughout.||Whether you’re traveling solo like me or coming with friends or a partner, El Cielo is the perfect place to balance adventure and comfort: go explore Medellín’s incredible gastronomy, culture, and nightlife, then return here to rest, reset, and feel completely at ease.||I absolutely hope to return!

I chose to come here for my 60th birthday and booked it months in advance . ||The problem comes with guest communication. I the restaurant and hotel know in at least 6 occasions. No recognition came whatsoever. ||They send out messages via what's app and booking.com which must be auto generated . They send out a pre stay form to fill in which must have never been read ||Once in sight we checked with the restaurant and front desk in person and still nada happened. The restaurant lead promised something would happen and the front desk said he would make sure something would happen at breakfast. Still nada||I think having the lobby hidden away in the 5th floor is a great excuse of out of sight, out of mind! ||Having stayed at some amazing hotels on route this place was a real disappointment.. ||The room is very modern and comfortable . The breakfast is very mediocre and chaotic. The bell guy was very friendly but that's where it stopped! ||The booking .com messaging asked us to send a review of our stay the day before we left ||Is as if guest management is run by bots!

Absolutely worth this place a shot... People working are genuine and helpful, and the GM is the best guy.... in all my stay with hotel... they made the experience so smooth and like 5 start home 🏡 shout out to the hard workers there and all the love to the GREATEST GM OF ALL TIME
