Decades and generations of authentic and unique tastes, every time I come back to Kolkata on vacation, Peter Cat and Chello Kebab is a must. Rest of the dishes are good too as I had been going here for ages. The Tandoori Sizzler was nice too. The Chello Kebab did not disappoint me. This restaurant doesn’t accept any online booking and parking nearby is always challenging Park Street, that also on a Sunday but I guess that’s the charm also, that’s how it is for decades.

We have been in the mocambo, which is part of same chain as Peter cat, the vibes are too good at both the places, you will find a good time eating at both the places. Whereas we have to wait for Peter cat, since there is a 30 min waiting time and no such waiting area, we just waited outside the restaurant only, Food: we order here all time favourite Chelo Kabab, along Fish Meunier, I'll say I have eaten better kabab then here but the side chicken along with with butter rice taste awesome 🤤. Plating is too good. The Fish is as good as we have eaten chicken Meunier in mocambo. Other then that we order order Dum ki Raan with kabab naan, we are things that will also be good, but then it distrub our taste buds, it's too sweet. We didn't finished the Dum ki Raan fully. Naan is ok ok. Recommendation: try Chelo Kabab and Fish Meunier

As for what they are famous for, their chello kebab is just awesome, the rice literally melts in your mouth and the chicken steak sizzler is also pretty delicious. We also tried chicken biriyani...that was okayish I would say. The only thing I didn't like is their service...like they took our orders very late and they really don't pay as such heed to their customers. When we went, 11 pm at the night restaurant wasn't even that busy. Otherwise it's good.

Worst experience ever. The behaviour of the stuffs are really rude. They behaved like they are just tolerating the guests somehow. They really lack politeness. Now come to food, it was just average. We took the "famous" chelo kebab, it was just stale with loads of butter on it. Kebabs are not tasty. Other items were average too. Atmosphere is congested and really dark. We didn't like it at all. There are far better restaurants in Park street than this one. Never going back again.

Firstly visiting Peter cat is itself a struggle when you are visiting this place during weekends or on any special occasions since it is overly crowded. Recently visited this place and finally we got our table after a long wait of 1 hour. Since it is Peter cat how do we not order the hyped up dish from the menu. We ended up ordering the Chelo kebab and fish finger fries and cocktails. To be honest the food was okay however the cocktails there is a daily since you will feel it is more of sugar syrup in it instead of alcohol. The staff service was very fast however it seems like they are always in a rush to take order and serve it and getting the table cleared for the next ones to come in. Not blaming the staffs since probably that's how they would have the instructions however better if not felt that way.

I recently visited Peter’s Cat, and I was thoroughly impressed. The food was exceptional, with each dish crafted to perfection, offering a delightful blend of flavors. The atmosphere was cozy yet elegant, making it the perfect spot for a relaxed meal. The service was attentive without being intrusive, adding to the overall positive experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking for fine dining with a comfortable ambiance.

We were recommended this restaurant and it did not disappoint The food was delicious and the service was very good. Quite a busy place but waiting times for meals was good. I would recommend this restaurant. Peter Cat is ranked the 10th most iconic food places in the world by tasteatlas.com with the chelo kebab being its signature dish. A must visit for us while in Kolkata, this time we did not find it as great as earlier. Delicious food awesome taste. Nice Ambience.. Well Behaved Staff.. Good atmosphere for family and friends. Its a very popular restaurant with people waiting outside.

Peter Cat is famous for its food, nostalgia, and timeless atmosphere due to its blend of tradition and innovation. Once again located at Park Street, this outlet usually sees a lot of waiting and queue. It was suggested to me by a friend who raved about it's Chelo Kebab...which comes with kebabs served on a bed of butter rice and a couple of veggies. The food is regular, I didn't find it to be that great. The ambiance is kinda old style and gloomy lights. Funny part is, they have a level one seating which is only available if you have a female partner along (ex-cuse me) two spinsters are allowed to book a table on the first level, but two stags aren't allowed (do we call this being sexist towards men?
