We started with the Mutton Dum Ki Rani, which was exceptionally flavorful—rich, aromatic, and cooked to perfection. The Masala Kulcha complemented it beautifully, being soft, fresh, and perfectly balanced in taste. This combination was easily one of the highlights of the meal. The Chelo Kebab truly stood out as one of their authentic signature dishes. The kebabs were juicy, perfectly seasoned, and packed with flavor, reflecting the restaurant’s legacy and expertise. A must-try for anyone visiting Peter Cat. The Grilled Chicken with sauce (sizzler) was well-prepared and tasted good overall. It was served on a sizzling platter with an appealing presentation, adding a premium and visually impressive touch. For dessert, we chose the Brownie with Vanilla Ice Cream and Hot Chocolate. The flavors were rich and indulgent; however, the brownie felt slightly overcooked at the bottom and had become a bit hard. Aside from this minor detail, the dessert was enjoyable. The ambience is classic and elegant, with a timeless, old-world charm that truly defines the place. The warm lighting, comfortable seating, and calm atmosphere create a refined and pleasant dining environment. Overall, an impressive experience with high-quality food, excellent presentation, and a sophisticated ambience. Highly recommended.

A legendary and historic spot in Kolkata, went there especially for the Chelo Kebabs. The buttery rice, perfectly grilled kebabs, and runny egg on top make for a delightful combination. Also tried their Beckty Meunier and Fish Finger which were also perfectly cooked to perfection. The ambience has a premium old-world charm, and the service is excellent. Located in Park Street definitely worth for a visit.

Classic Peter Cat vibes, timeless flavors, and a meal that reminded us why this place is a Kolkata legend. We had: 1. Chicken Chelo Kebab 2. Mutton Chelo Kebab 3. Bhetki Meunière 4. Brownie topped with ice cream and warm chocolate sauce Mutton Kebabs were smoky, tender and juicy. The legendary Chicken Kebabs were perfectly grilled as expected. The bhetki meunière was a classy contrast: buttery, delicate, and cooked just right, letting the flavours shine. We wrapped it up with a brownie topped with ice cream and warm chocolate sauce. The brownie was not sizzling, but the sweet brownie taste with cold ice cream and hot chocolate made it the best dish to finish with.

The legendary Peter cat. It was my first visit. We have tried there famous mutton chello kabab platter, dry chilli fish. The taste was top notch. Best chili fish I ever had. Fish was soft, flecky, and flavourful. Mild ambiance. Service was good. Waiters are alws roaming around which might be a issue for discussing something in between.

Peter Cat, Park Street has unveiled a stunning new floor that’s a total vibe! ✨ Unlike their classic cosy setup, this section is brighter, more spacious, full of greenery and completely photo friendly...perfect for your Pujo Insta posts 🌿📸 The fresh, modern ambience adds a vibrant twist while keeping the timeless charm we all love. And the food is as iconic as ever. From the legendary Chelo Kebab to the rich and flavourful Dum Ki Raan and those juicy Tandoori Prawns, every bite still hits the spot 🍴🔥 This Durga Pujo, step into their brand new section for a refreshed experience where good food meets great vibes. You’re going to love it! 💫

This place is not just a restaurant – it’s an emotion. Since 1975, it has held a legendary reputation, and maintains to do so till date. The dim lighting and classic decor makes it a perfect place for a laid-back meal or a special evening out. We tried their signature dish, the iconic Chelo Kebab (Original), that is simply outstanding – buttery and just to die for. The Chicken Kebabs are tender, rice grains are exceptionally good. We had also ordered their Mutton Biryani which was really delicious. I would definitely recommend you to go and try this place out, if you’ve nit already done so. If you’re in the city, missing out on the Chelo Kebab here would be a crime.

By far the best meal I had on my trip to Kolkata. The ambience of the place calls for a special occasion or a date night. Drinks, I thought, could have been better but they are a steal the prices. The best part undoubtedly is the Chelo kebabs. I’ve hardly seen a more complete meal. The mutton kebabs had the potential of converting a vegetarian to the other side. Do not miss this place if you ever find yourself on this side of India.

Peter Cat has a good ambience with plenty of seating spread across two floors. However, the lighting inside isn’t ideal if you enjoy taking photos during your visit. The staff are very attentive, professional, and well-behaved, which really adds to the overall experience. The service was impressively fast. The Original Chelo Kebab was good, though not as extraordinary as expected. On the other hand, the Bhetki dish was excellent, and the ice cream had a nicely balanced sweetness. One area of improvement could be the temperature control inside the restaurant, as it felt a bit uncomfortable at times. Overall, a pleasant dining experience with great service and some standout dishes.
