And the food is as iconic as ever. From the legendary Chelo Kebab to the rich and flavourful Dum Ki Raan and those juicy Tandoori Prawns, every bite still hits the spot 🍴🔥 This Durga Pujo, step into their brand new section for a refreshed experience where good food meets great vibes. You’re going to love it! 💫

Peter Cat is not just a restaurant – it’s a part of Kolkata’s heritage and culture. Since 1975, it has held a legendary reputation, and maintains to do so. The dim lighting, classic decor transport diners to a different era, making it a perfect place for a laid-back meal or a special evening out. We try their signature dish, the iconic Chelo Kebab (Original), that is simply outstanding – buttery and unlike anything you’ll find elsewhere. The Chicken Kebabs are tender, rice grains are exceptionally good. Another dish we've tried is Chicken Irani Kebab. The portion is enough for two person. Lastly I would say, Peter Cat is more than just about food – it’s about reliving a piece of Kolkata’s old-world charm. If you’re in the city, missing out on the Chelo Kebab here would be a crime.

If you’re in Kolkata, Peter Cat is an absolute must-visit! I had their famous Chelo Kebab, and honestly, it was the best I’ve ever had. Perfectly cooked, bursting with flavors, and served just right—it truly lived up to its legendary reputation. The ambience was so cozy—warm lighting, old-world charm, and a vibe that makes you want to sit back and savor every bite. The place has a timeless feel, making the dining experience even more special. On top of that, the service was top-notch. The staff was attentive, polite, and made sure everything was perfect throughout the meal. If you’re a food lover, Peter Cat isn’t just a restaurant—it’s an experience. Highly recommend it, especially for their signature Chelo Kebab!

It is always wonderful being there! I love peter cat and specially the steak and chelo kababs are soooo delish! But the staff was a bit rude and also when i tipped one of them and asked them that i don't have change, they said they would return with the change but didn't come back for 10 more minutes, so we felt embarassed waiting for change on some tip and had to leave! But otherwise uts very nice with good family friendly ambience

Had a chance to visit this amazing restro in the heart of the Park Street. We had a early visit so it was easy for us to get a table but generally it is recommended to visit a bit early as they have long queues in waiting for a dine in towards the late evening. The staff over their are really well trained . And the ambience itself screamed the aura of the place. We had the house classic Chelo kebab. It was very unique and was busting with flavours . The presentation itself made it look more tempting. Its a must visit place if you visit kolkata.

Peter Cat on Park Street remains an iconic culinary destination that continues to charm patrons with its old-world ambience and vintage appeal. The dim lighting, classic decor, and nostalgic music transport diners to a different era, making it a perfect place for a laid-back meal or a special evening out. The seating is cozy, and the overall vibe retains the warmth and tradition that the restaurant has long been known for. Their signature Chelo Kebabs are, as always, a treat to the taste buds – rich, flavourful, and beautifully presented. However, one aspect that takes away from the otherwise delightful experience is the conduct of some of the service staff. While prompt service is always appreciated, the waiters tend to hover uncomfortably close to the tables. This can make conversations feel less private and the overall experience a bit rushed or intrusive. Guests may find it hard to relax and enjoy their time when under constant watch or when space feels limited. Despite this minor drawback, Peter Cat remains a beloved choice for many – combining good food with an atmosphere soaked in legacy. With just a little more mindfulness on guest space, the dining experience could be near perfect.

Food was okay but nothing extraordinary if you're coming from North India. We had their signature dishes, chelo kebab. We found it to be overhyped. It's normal kebabs with butter rice. Nothing extraordinary. The ambience & service was good.
