Loved it! My friend and I stayed there for a week and the spot is so convenient to get to 7 mile Beach and other local spots. You can walk (be careful, the roads are narrow) or bike which is what we did. They offer beach cruiser rentals there and it's affordable and made transportation so much easier. Taxis can be pretty pricey and I suggest you negotiate the price before leaving since they don't use a meter. Eldemire's was super clean, a very accessible kitchen and awesome/friendly staff. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone going that is looking for a non-resort vibe. It feels like a home away from home. Thanks Bob, Tutti and Elena! We will see you again!

This is a beautiful guesthouse tucked away in a silent part of the island. If you want to see what the island is really all about, this is the place to stay. It is within walking distance to a gorgeous beach and all the shopping your heart desires. All the people around this part of the island are so kind, will literally say "hello" or "have a nice day" just to be friendly. Pool is AMAZING here and check-in was a breeze. Found my new happy place.

This is the 5th or 6th time we have stayed at Eldemires. Eldemires is a home that has been converted into a guest house. We always stay in one of the bedrooms upstairs. You receive a key for front door and a room key. In a very secluded area off main road so quiet and we always feel quite safe. A beautiful beach Smith Cove is within walking distance. I would recommend a rental car though as there is a restaurant within walking distance but town would be a bit of a walk. The rooms are clean But be aware there is not daily room service. Beach towels are included. The staff will grab you some clean towels and linens with a call. Full size kitchen downstairs and complimentary coffee and tea. Microwave, oven, refrigerator with small freezer available. Also small fridge in room. Small pool we have never used. Looks clean and well maintained. The staff are so kind and helpful. We bought beach chairs one year and they store for us and have in our room when we arrive. Check in is just calling one of the staff from a phone outside the door and they are there within a minute or 2. We just love this place.

We love Eldemires. This year we stayed in Apt 7 for 2 weeks. Very comfortable. Full kitchen, living room, large bedroom, walk-in closet, full bath, patio and private garden, A/C and 3 ceiling fans.||||Quiet, safe neighborhood; just the roosters for noise.||||Main building has nice lounge with local phone, coin op laundry, recycling bins.||||Location convenient to the East End, Rum Point, 7 Mile Beach, Camana Bay, and Georgetown. There is a lovely little beach, Smith Cove, that is great for snorkeling, swimming, picnicking, watching sunsets just a couple minutes drive a way.||||Reasonably priced.||||Away from the hub bub.

The Eldemire Inn is a fantastic find. On an island where everything is expensive this Quaint Inn is a breath of fresh air. The Inn is in a quiet residential neighborhood about 3-4 blocks away from the ocean. My wife and I were given room #3 which is up a beautiful mahogany stair case. There is a shared kitchen and living room. Each room has an en-suite and a dorm style fridge. The shared kitchen you also get a second refrigerator/freezer that is slightly bigger and keeps food colder. Our room had a ceiling fan over the bed, which kept this hot blooded man cool. ||||The staff that we met (BOB) was great and was more than willing to give suggestions.||||Other reviews talk about the roosters we never heard them in the bedroom. You could hear them easily in the bathroom. ||||I will stay here again and every time I come to Grand Cayman

This is not the Ritz Carlton and if that’s what you’re expecting, you will be disappointed. However, if you are looking for a comfortable place to sleep and somewhere close to the beach, you’re in luck! They took good care of us and we (two ladies) felt safe and had no concerns or problems. They kept the house clean and accessible! It was a great place to stay!

We really enjoyed our 8 nights at Eldemires Tropical Island Inn. We were able to walk to 3 nice snorkeling spots: Smiths Cove, Sunset House, and Eden Rock. We took a taxi to Potts Beach. The Inn is immaculate, there are no bugs whatsoever inside your room. Our Unit 5 was a studio that had everything we needed to be able to relax and have breakfast and lunch at the Inn and walk to a few different restaurants for dinner and sunset. At the price point that Eldemires costs, it is a really nice affordable way to enjoy this beautiful island. And we hope to come back and stay again at Eldemires!

The most reasonable hotel in a very expensive island ($150 per night). Elena is an excellent hostess. She explained me everything about the island and even arranged a taxi to take me to the airport. The guest house is very basic, but rooms have a fridge, A/C, a fan, and ensuite bathrooms. Furniture, bathrooms, lamp shades A/C equipment, kitchen utensils, and beach towels are outdated. The pool is small. They do not make your room unless you stay one week and they will do it once a week.
