"A classic Plaka hotel close to Syntagma Square, the Electra Palace checks all the boxes for convenient location, rooftop restaurant overlooking the Acropolis, comfortable rooms, plus niceties like a gym, spa, and pool. Spacious suites feature views of the Parthenon, marble bathrooms with Jacuzzi tubs, and handwoven carpets. A Greek breakfast buffet is served in the downstairs garden, and drinks and food are served all day on the fifth-floor rooftop. Hydrating facials, body wraps, and Cretan olive oil massages are given at the spa, which also has a heated indoor pool and jacuzzi. For spring and summer visitors, an afternoon at the outdoor pool overlooking the city’s monuments and neoclassical archicture is practically a requirement."
What a spectacular, elegant hotel! Great location. Loved the rooftop restaurant with views of the Acropolis. The breakfast buffet was extensive with local Greek offerings as well as the usual buffet fare. Fabulous cappuccinos! The day we left we had a quick lunch at the bar. Recognized one of our breakfast servers Katerina. She was friendly and helped expedite our meals so that we could catch a flight. This hotel proved to be completely service oriented- from the front desk staff at check in, to the doormen and porters. Everyone was friendly and helpful. I would encourage all of my friends and family visiting Athens, to plan a stay here.

I stayed for four nights in a single room. It was a really lovely experience. The bed although classified as single was actually a double or queen. The room was beautifully appointed, it even had a fantastic steamer which was a huge bonus. The staff were very helpful and kind and the breakfast was sumptuous. The restaurant had an incredible view of the acroplis. I felt incredibly safe here as a solo traveller.|I would stay again and again

Hotel was worth the value. Many room amenities! Great location. Great roof top restaurant.
The welcome gift was unexpected!
concierge was wonderful to work with, we used many of her suggestions from where to go for sites, restaurants, shopping.
View from our room was ⭐️⭐️⭐️
Only thing I would maybe add is a Netflix option on tv. Also for this high end of a hotel it’s not appropriate to only have 2 bath towels. Many people use an extra. We could have asked, but like I said shouldn’t need to if they are providing an experience.

this is a great hotel. the staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly. the rooms were very comfortable and well appointed. it is in a great neighborhood with multiple shops and restaurants around it. the hamburger bar was terrific. the burgers were tasty, better than most we would eat in KC. you can eat inside or at a few tables on the sidewalk. the complimentary breakfast buffet is plentiful and nicely varied. the view of the acropolis from the rooftop restaurant is amazing, especially at night.
we really look forward to a return visit, just to stay there.

We were so delighted with our stay here! Great rooms, excellent service, lovely spa, and small but functional gym. The location was perfect as well - walkable to anywhere we wanted to go. But the real star of the show was the breakfast and rooftop view. The view of Acropolis, whether day or night, will take your breath away. The all inclusive breakfast with freshly squeezed juices was something we looked forward to every day. No need to have breakfast elsewhere. Would definitely return when in Athens again!

Book it now! This is THE place to stay in Athens. Everything about the hotel is stellar. The roof top breakfast was one of our favorite parts of our stay. The food was wonderful. Starting our days with the views of the major sites was beyond spectacular. The location cannot be beat! Close to everything. The staff was extremely attentive and helpful. The rooms and hotel ammenties were excellent. For our budget it was a bit of a splurge, but well worth it. We cannot recommend it enough!

What a place ! Perfect location for exploring, amazing staff, great rooms and soooo comfortable beds, this is a great hotel. Make sure you do dinner on the terrace watching the sun set while you enjoy a 5 star dinner.
Highly recommended, you will love Electra Palace.

Impressive! Our room was small but that's because we chose a small room, so I recommend upgrading to a larger room/suite if you have 3 or more guests (don't settle on the basic room). Complimentary breakfast had a variety of food to choose from and fresh orange juice was served as well - all complimentary. 8th floor restaurant where breakfast is served has a spectacular 360 view of the city. Definitely go up there! Rooftop pool was above average size for a rooftop pool, especially in an archaeological gem like Athens (considering how close the hotel is to the Acropolis). Will stay again on our next visit!
