Delicious food, comfortable lively atmosphere and a fantastic selection of local Thai spirits, including Sato (rice beer) and even Thai natural wine. Everything on the menu is sourced with Thai ingredients, with some surprising additions to the tasting menu like squid roe and lions mane mushrooms, and the fresh pasta with coconut milk and toasted macadamia. The tapas served at the beginning of the chef menu are served together, the use of lots of fermented ingredients and the grilled breads were a highlight. The menu is given to you with a “visual aid” vintage Kodak slide viewer - so fun.
Electric Sheep has both an indoor area and a cozy rooftop, and is located in a really interesting building, full of other bars, vibey restaurants, boutique shops, and a cute coconut gelato spot downstairs.
Would definitely come back on my next visit!
There are a lot of stairs and not a lot of bathrooms.
