Such a very clean and friendly hotel!||Patrick and then Matt greeted us at the front desk. Exceptional service, explaining things, suggestions where to go. Deb from the bar was very nice. And the made to order eggs or omelets were excellent. ||The rooms were a very nice size, very comfortable beds. I did like how some of the lights turned off when there was no motion for a while. Made it easier to find my way back to bed in the middle of the night. ||If we were to go again to Denver, this is definitely where we would stay.

I don’t understand the decent reviews for this property. The location does not really feel safe. Drug deals around the hotel. Strung out people sleeping on a porch of a bail bonds business next to the hotel. Human excrement and vomit on sidewalk. Good times. I probably had some bad luck, but first room had a sewer smell coming from shower so I was moved to another room. In that room the dishwasher was broken- which is fine, but these things make me wonder about maintenance here. I asked for mobile key 3 times and it was never sent to me. Lastly noice transfer is quite bad. I had stompers above me, making sleeping in completely impossible. I won’t be back. The staff was friendly overall and breakfast good.

⭐ 0/5 Stars – Avoid at All Costs This is hands down one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment you walk in, you’re met with pure hostility and negative energy from staff who look unprofessional, hide their faces under hoodies, and treat guests with open disrespect. If your credit card or ID isn’t placed directly into their hand, expect verbal abuse and racial slurs, regardless of who you are. The attitude is aggressive, demeaning, and completely unacceptable for any business—especially a hotel. It doesn’t stop at the front desk. Guests are threatened with being kicked out, and staff will reportedly follow you into the parking lot attempting to start confrontations. That’s not just unprofessional—that’s dangerous. I felt unsafe, disrespected, and shocked that a place like this is even allowed to operate as a hotel. I will never stay here again, and I strongly recommend others do the same. There are countless better options out there. Do yourself a favor and stay literally anywhere else.

I want to personally thank Tristan S. He was courteous, very kind, professional and helpful. He’s a nice man who did his job well. I appreciate that. I did try to call steer my stay to tell someone that he’s a true asset to the hotel but only got the front desk. I hope this reaches beyond. Thoughtfulness goes a long way. Thank you again, Tristan S. Kindness is in short supply these days.

Google
Service and the stuff are awesome. Thanks them all. They are all kind and communication styles are really nice. Hotel located in a silent area so there is no noise to obstruct your rest. Location is really nice. Bad thing about the hotel is ROOMS. Air conditioning system works like a truck engine, when its on impossible to sleep, due to noise. Also the automatic lights... Maaaan, when the lights are on and you are having bath , the lights are turning of automaticially and sensor doesn't detect you. Also in room when I focus to write something lights are turning off after 5 min automaticially. And there is no option to turn off that automatic system. Either you turn off the lights or the system close it by itself... Maybe they have this system as energy saving but as a guest it disturbs you believe me.

Really nice hotel, the free hot breakfast is a nice staying point! The rooftop deck is really cool, fun hangout spot. The service was great the whole time. The rooms are ultimately why we took a star away. The walls are paper thin, the hallways are extremely loud. We were woken up several times from banging doors, people talking in the rooms next door, in the hallways, above us…loud noises everywhere. The rooms were clean, but there was a lot of furniture in them making it feel pretty crammed. The bathrooms had a nice layout. Parking is good, best price around, has a private parking garage. Overall a decent stay, but I don’t think I’d stay again.

Google
After many stays at underpar hotels and Airbnb for the same or higher prices this was a breath of fresh air! Ease of scheduling the room, great prices, very helpful and friendly staff (talking about you Matt). I had a question about parking and Matt answered my question and gave me helpful additional information. After I got into my room the nextdoor room had an alarm going off for half an hour. I called down to the front desk and Matt had it shut off in less than 5 minutes. The rooms are updated, CLEAN, the bed is comfortable, and the views are great. Would absolutely recommend to anyone!

Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Clean and simple rooms that smelled pleasant and well-kept. Breakfast was great and had hot and cold options. The room came with filtered tap water which was clean tasting and very convenient. They also arranged for a complimentary very late checkout which I definitely needed as I was exhausted! Great service overall and I would defense recommend them!

Yelp
Stayed here a few days in Denver. Overall a positive experience and nicely priced compared to many other hotels in the area. It's a few blocks walk to a more-lively part of town, about 15 minutes. Staff was friendly. Room was clean and very spacious and comfortable! The biggest thing I didn't like was... get ready... the light switches. In an effort to be environmentally friendly, the light switches here are in motion detectors. I couldn't figure out how to get them to stay on OR off. Lights turned out a few times while in the shower or on the toilet, or they turned on when I didn't want them to like using the bathroom at night where I didn't want to be blasted with light to my face. I know this is an absurd thing to be annoyed by, but I shouldn't struggle with the lights in a hotel room. Other than that I was a fan of the hotel! Deb at the bar and Matt at the front desk were standouts on service. J.Ja

Yelp
Stayed there for a few days while there was fire alarm testing going on at my apt bldg. It was a refreshing staycay for me and my 3 cats. It's cool that they have floor 3 dedicated to pets not just like a few rooms! I loved the free breakfast and complimentary glass of wine at wine o clock! I had previously had great experiences at Element in Scottsdale, AZ and Parker, CO with my cats, so I was pretty confident that this would be at least a similar good time. I just wish they had a pool! I didn't realize that they didn't have a pool when I referred my coworker and his cats to this hotel when they came through Denver! All well. Everything was pretty easy. Plenty of luggage carts, parking and elevators. Lots of space to set up all my cat stuff. Definitely recommend it as a modern and pet-friendly staycay place! The staff at the front desk was nice and helpful as well. The bartender lady seemed a bit hostile. Not sure why. My cats loved the filtered water!

Yelp
SOLID hotel! Walking distance from downtown and the convention center. They serve a great breakfast -- when we checked in, we smelled something delicious, which turned out to be their homemade salsa. Don't miss it! I didn't make it to the happy hour, but it's a nice touch. The rooms were clean, it was quiet, and the staff was helpful.

Yelp
As a Marriott gold I like to think I have standards but nothing too crazy. This one was a bit disappointing for me. I'll start by saying service was great - everyone we encounter working there was pleasant and very kind and helpful. They also have a free happy hour like the other element hotels which is always nice! Location - didn't love it. As a single woman we were right next to a jail and court, lots of homeless people around as well. Despite being close to the city, I ubered everywhere as I didn't feel super safe. The room felt weirdly modern but also outdated. My room didn't have a fob where you tap the key, it was broken off and looked mangled but still seemed to work. The bed was comfortable enough, the sheets felt super scraggly and old. The towels in the bathroom were for a toddler, I had to use the only two they provided anytime I showered to get my full body. The shower had mold around the drain. There were splatters of something behind the toilet. Overall just didn't feel up to the Marriott standard I typically see. The biggest issue was the AC, it turned on and off every minute and every time it did, made a super loud clicking sound. I turned it off and was sweltering all night but couldn't sleep with it on either.

Yelp
We decided on the Element as we were looking for affordable accommodations, close to downtown as well as public transportation. The hotel has been around for four years and very well appointed. Even though it is a Westin hotel, it is part of the Marriott organization. For an additional $6 we were upgraded to a King suite. It was perfect as it offered a full kitchen with appliances. Staff was very professional. You are treated to breakfast every morning. The menu is basic, if not light but it accommodates most diets. The venue is full service as it includes a bar, gym, lounge space, etc. The amenities are modern, however I notice sometimes hotels are too fancy with their ornaments, especially the shower and I wander about safety, especially for those who are prone to fall or not be stead on their feet. The all glass shower looks fantastic but there is nothing to hold onto, per se. Anyway, we are in good shape but I write this because I am always concerned for those who may not be that nimble. We stayed three nights and had a very pleasant stay as it met our objective of staying in an updated property at an affordable price. Oh, because we had time to spare from normal check out to our flight back home, they allowed us to check-out at 1PM. If we are in Denver again, the Element has earned our business.

Yelp
I stayed here for over a week and felt like it was a comfortable place. Initially, the room wasn't super clean; the floors were dirty and the bathroom floor had questionable splashes but once housekeeping did their magic - it was good. The free breakfast is bomb! It does get busy if you go lager in the morning so the earlier the better to avoid the crowds. Connie was so friendly and quick at whipping out our breakfast requests. They have a free happy hour Monday through Friday and Jamie was an amazing bar tender! The location is a little questionable but I didn't have any issues. The courthouse and bail bonds places are close by. There are some unhoused folks that hang out in the area but I didn't have any issues with them. I walked to my destination and walked back every day for a week (1 mile each way) and didn't feel like I was unsafe. Just be aware of your surroundings. The front desk staff is very friendly and so helpful! Hotel parking is in an uncovered lot across the street. There is some metered parking on the street. The only critiques I have is the AC vent blows directly on the bed, which some may prefer. And the deck was off limits because the owners were working out of the room adjoining, yet I never saw them during my entire 9 day stay. I wish the deck would have been accessible when they weren't around. All in all I would stay here again.

Yelp
This hotel is located in a quiet residential neighborhood with very few restaurants about 10 minutes walk from the convention center. Hotel is nicely designed in an open, modern style and looks new. Nice things about this hotel include a free breakfast with freshly made omelettes, and filtered water on tap in the room. No ice machines on the floors, but bags of ice are available near the front desk. It was a good value at a moderate price.

Yelp
We stayed here for 1 week which pretty much gave us an all around feel for the place. We have stayed at many Marriott affiliated hotels and there were some differences I enjoyed and some I found odd. Arrival: You'll wonder why you booked this hotel to begin with. You'll probably worry about your well being and you'll worry about your life. BUT! After being here for a week I can attest that it is one of the safest places around. Upon arrival you'll need to park in the front of the hotel (where the sliding door is) to enter the building. Parking: We were then given keys to our room and told to "drive around the building". It sounds crazy, especially because most of us wonder where we are going to park to begin with when we pull up. You will drive around the back of the building and you will need to swipe your card in the small black key box to open the parking garage gate. As previous reviews have stated it is located on the right side (passenger) of the car so it makes it a bit tricky to swipe your card. Surrounding area: The reviews are NOT lying when they say that the neighborhood surrounding the neighborhood is rough, because it is. However, there is a lot of gentrification going on in Downtown Denver and this is just a process of it all. I will tell you that after being there for 7 days, we never felt unsafe and eventually laughed every time we pulled in. There is a dispensary next door but I hardly saw anyone coming in and out of it. Rooms: The room was nice and modern. Some parts of it felt like fancy cheap, if that makes any sense. It gave me Ikea vibes, but in a good way. The room was small in comparison to other Marriotts, but overall it worked out well for my daughter and I. The pillows were fluffy and didn't feel cheap. Showers: The restrooms have censored lights so be warned, they will shine brightly if you're walking into the restroom in the middle of the night. I did not enjoy the fact that there was nowhere to put the hand soap because it kept falling into the sink. The shower is great too, but there are no handles inside to hold on to so be careful when you're walking in. Also, why do we not have anywhere to put our toiletries? Closet space: You have to consider that I was staying here for a week and this hotel LACKS drawers. The 3 they have are tiny and not much a fit in them. There is a lot of random cabinets, so I had to pile my clothes versus being able to organize it in a more sensible fashion. Kitchen: It has all the basic necessities, for a short trip. After staying there for a week I felt like I needed more utensils, but again - we made it work. We made plenty of meals here as we ran in and out for our games, but all around a good kitchen to get the job done. Laundry: The laundry room is located downstairs past the breakfast area and bar. Walk all the way back towards the water fountain and you'll see it to your right. It is operated by quarters and the front desk is able to trade cash for quarters. Gym: The gym is nice and had a good selection of machines. We didn't use the gym, but it looked great. Bar: There is a bar! The lobby and seating area: We absolutely loved this space! My daughter and I came down here to eat our food so that we wouldn't be cooped up in our room. She was also working on summer school so we hung out often. Breakfast: It's complementary so what isn't there to love? More importantly it is NOT the usual continental breakfast you'll find at most Marriotts. The egg omelettes they make fresh were top notch. They have different side options each day. Something to note, the breakfast hours say 6:30a to 9:30am, but was actually 6:30a to 10:30am during the week so confirm the time. Ice Machines: There are no ice machines on each floor like most hotels. If you need ice you will need to pick up a bag in the freezer downstairs by the front desk. Staff: My friend Matt (I hope that's his name, I can't remember now) was in my book the EMPLOYEE of the MONTH! I saw him moving boxes, working the lobby, and working the kitchen! He has a friendly face and exudes such positive and happy aura. The rest of the staff was always kind and welcoming, but Matt greeted us every time we walked past him. Belinda in the kitchen is rude and her stare downs were not only unprofessional, but inappropriate, unnecessary, and uncalled for. Side Notes: Starbucks around the corner. Grocery store within a mile. Overall, I would definitely stay here again.

Yelp
Loved this hotel! Its beautiful walking in, modern, clean and green! lol that should be their slogan! Checking in was no problem, you need your room key to be able to go upstairs to the room that way no one can get up who's not staying in the hotel. Our room was very comfortable, beds great, ac great, shower great! Newer technology lights motion activated, tv can be controlled by your phone, fridge and small kitchen in the room! Even tho if you wake up in the middle of the night to go pee the lights coming on burn thru your eyes like the sun! lol! you can manually turn them off. Free breakfast and coffee every morning, better then average. Housekeeping came in everyday and tidied up and made our beds, very sweet. They have a small snacks section down stairs if you get the munchies, with a local bakery's ice cream sandwiches that were outstanding! Delicious, we didnt care how much they were #worthit! This Hotel is a little bit farther down then a lot of the other downtown ones, you can ride the free shuttle then walk a few blocks to the hotel. Did notice a $20 per night Denver tax? on check out receipt All in all we loved our stay here!

Yelp
A really nice place to stay. The room was spacious and had everything you'd need. There's a lot of space for sleeping and it was a comfortable rest. The view from the room was great. The breakfast was nice because it was included. Everything was good but selection is a little limited. Honesty about what I would expect for an included breakfast.

Yelp
Nicer than expected from some of the reviews I read. Very clean, contemporary design, comfortable bed, kitchenette had everything I usually miss in a normal hotel room. Real cutlery real sink, real refrigerator. Lobby is very comfortable and stylish. Friendly nice front desk staff. I'd definitely stay here again.

Yelp
Element denver 9/16 Ed & Mike the valets were wonderful but there is a $40 Parking fee...... To bad I didn't write down the people that checked us in because they were super nice. I always request a high floor, a quiet room but unfortunately I got the third floor but they did upgrade us to a suite, and I am very grateful for that.. That was very very nice. The staff was super. I love this cute concept. I have never stayed at this particular chain on Marriotts. It comes complete with a two burner stove. A refrigerator/freezer, dishes, pots and pans, and coffee for in the morning. After being in there a while I did notice that the fans for the air-conditioning were loud and the outside noise was relatively large. I don't understand why each and every Marriott chain has different sheets bedding and mattresses why can't they all be the same! For me the sheets are very stiff and hard, plus you could hear every time you turn over in the bed it was like being on plastic sheets. The bed it's self was to hard for me to get comfortable, argh! One of the two elevators didn't work the entire time we were there. The next morning when we got into the elevator to head downstairs it was filthy, I'm really not sure why that wasn't checked nor cleaned up. There is the area that you walk into that is partially wood floor before you hit the carpet. It was unfortunate because when I looked at the wood floor it looked pretty dirty and then I started noticing the carpet around the room, other things were not very clean. For being a new hotel it was not very clean, noisy, $40 for parking and not the best area of town. I MIGHT stay at this particular type of chain of hotels to give it another try at a different location, I don't think I would return to this one.

Yelp
This was my second time staying at this hotel. We will definitely be back. The lobby and rooms are very modern, clean, and well thought out. There is a parking garage on the second level that leads you to the same elevator you use for the rooms, which makes for a super easy entrance and exit. The room has ample closet space and a kitchenette with microwave, fridge, coffee maker, dishwasher, cups/plates/cutlery. Shower had great water pressure and temp, they even put the handle on the opposite Side of the shower head so you can turn it on without stepping in the shower. The beds are soft, yet supportive. The temperature of the room was very comfortable. My fiancé who is often hot was very happy. The comforter was the perfect thickness to provide warmth, yet avoid overheating. Only complaint is that we only had one towel set and it had a makeup stain on :/

Yelp
We stayed there over a week. The room above walked loudly which made working difficult. The beds had food under them and my bed had food in it. We asked for housekeeping to change our bedding and vacuum. There was still food under it after. There were also handprints on the bottom of the tv. The kitchen kit was incomplete. There was hair on the desk and floor. The parking garage wasn't ideal. There was no signage on how to access it. We had to go up a steep, icy hill to get to it. At the garage you had to exit your vehicle, open the door with your key and hit a button to open the gate. It was in an alley with homeless people around. When leaving, you also had to get out of your car to open the gate. The parking spots were very small. People often took up multiple spots. One night there were groups of teenagers hanging in there smoking. There was also poop in between cars. The hotel is within feet of at least 5 bail bonds and a marijuana dispensary. There were several times I didn't feel safe. In the lobby as our room was cleaned, we asked if the volume could be turned up on a TV. They said sure, but never came back. They did a really good job with the breakfast! Each day they had a warm, tasty breakfast sandwich, blueberry muffin, yogurt and an orange. We wouldn't stay here again.

Yelp
Online with Marriott we are offered a morning check-in. Upon arrival the dower front desk girl told us the room would be ready by 9:00 p.m.! Fortunately, when we came back that night a very friendly young man treated us warmly and even offered a one-bedroom suite upgrade. Too bad it was all downhill from there. This Element could absolutely care less about the safety and satisfaction of their guests. The Hotel is in a sketchy part of downtown Denver, my luggage was stolen out front as we were loading my car. The hotel has security cameras that don't work and staff lies to guests and police about it. There are homeless everywhere, crime is off the charts and police are understaffed. If you care about your things and your safety stay somewhere else. Oh, beware when making a booking through Marriott. Their system will randomly change your days back to one day even if you started the reservation with multiple days. When I checked in, they had me down for one night instead of three and didn't even mention it to me. I got to find out when some random worker walked into my room at 9 a.m. just as I was about to hop in the shower. Luckily I was still in my underwear and bra but sheesh. Regardless of the mistake WTF about that 11a checkout? And how about a knock first?! This place is the worst for privacy and safety.

Yelp
Arrived during 25 degree temperature only to find thermostat in the room at 69 and would not go up at all. Called desk and was told no engineer on duty till next day at 8 am. Had to call desk next day at 8:30 since no one showed up. By this time temperature down to 66 and wife slept in her clothes because of this. Engineer (Hispanic who spoke no English so had to use google translate) said they have heating problems "with all the rooms." Came down for breakfast and fruit bin contained one brown banana. Yogurt canisters and toppings were empty (half hour before end of breakfast). Hot breakfast unavailable unless you stand in a long line with other guests because one cook was making eggs to order instead of having items you can grab and go. We stayed here when the place was new and had problems then which e overlooked. This time we thought the problems were resolved but no. We will not be returning.

Yelp
We had a late trip in last night around 3:00am, check in was easy and the concierge was very helpful. Would recommend staying here for anyone traveling to Denver.

Yelp
The good, the bad and the very ugly...... First the good. The initial check in was fantastic thanks to John. We checked in early and our room was not ready but he gave us one with a full kitchen. This guys customer service is good, professional and what I expect being a lifetime platinum member! Also props go to the bartender Ophilia(sp?) who was just as friendly and greeted us, got our drinks and then opened the snack cart with cheese and olives. She never not had a genuine smile and was a pleasure to be around. Now the bad.....the next night a nightmare bartender named Maggie was there. She never smiles, was rude and neve brought out the cart. The Italian restaurants owner one block away even commented on multiple customers that had come in to dine that had issues with Maggies service or lack of it and her attitude. Now the ugly.....As good as John was the next night the front desk person named Shannon was equally a total nightmare. We had issues at the bar and it progressed to the front desk when both of them teamed up on me and my wife celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary. After a little heated exchange due to Shannons inability to handle the situation she wanted to kick us out and I am a lifetime platinum member!!!! She was the most unprofessional front desk receptionist I have seen ever! Will we stay there again? Most likely due to John and Ophelia's remarkable good job. Only because of that!

Yelp
Begrudgingly allowing two stars because the actual space was nice, the location is prime and the beds were comfortable. If you're the kind of person who loves rolling with the punches, rarely interacts with the staff and has no interest in the included breakfast, you might be happy here. Otherwise, maybe find somewhere else. Arrival and check-in went mostly smoothly except the person manning the desk elected to not tell us how parking worked until we specifically asked. The next morning when my companion went to shower, we realized there were no bath towels, just hand towels and washcloths. I called down to the desk to request some bath towels and it rang a dozen times with no answer. So I got presentable and went down to the desk to ask for towels and was brushed off by the desk staff. When I finally got their attention again, they were brusque and rude about my request, as though their staff's failure to stock the room were somehow my effort to personally inconvenience them. Oh, well, just a rough start, right? It'll probably be fine! After showering and getting ready for the day, we came down for breakfast (which we were told was from 6:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.) at 9 a.m. There was no food left, no staff around, no one refreshing stations and no other options. Never have I seen such a joke of an effort made to provide a meal well within 'open hours.' So we gave up and went out the rest of the week. My companion got a minor bloody nose one morning and we requested one set of replacement sheets to the room (my call to the desk was answered this time!) while we were out for the day. Maybe things were looking up? Ah, no. When we got back, guess what we didn't have? New sheets! So we called down again and that person brought us up a new set of sheets for the one bed. Any one of these things would be understandable. I'm sure the hotel is understaffed and that the staff that are there are under strain. Still, across the whole stay, the staff on the whole demonstrated a lack of basic customer service skills or general willingness to do their jobs. And I have to assume management is also a mess, based on the breakfast bait-and-switch. All together, I would not stay here again and I would suggest you can find somewhere much better.

Yelp
Solid and affordable, but by no means luxury. While the location near downtown is great, the view from our window was of a row of dilapidated houses with trash strewn everywhere. People experiencing homelessness congest around the entrance, making anytime you walk inside a not-so-luxurious experience. Our room was next to the elevators on the 4th floor. There is absolutely no sound proofing, so we could hear the elevator open and close and people coming and going at all hours of the day. Lastly, our shower didn't have a tray to hold our soap, so we had to keep our toiletries on the floor. While not the worst experience, there are much better hotels in the area for around the same cost. I'll be going to them next time.

Yelp
we had a wonderful stay here while we visited denver. it's about 40 minutes from the airport and extremely close to everything in downtown denver. staff was so friendly the entirety of our stay. our room was very clean. the complementary breakfast in the morning is actually amazing - they have a chef making hot food too. the only thing that was a bummer during our stay was the fact that we had some noisy people above and next to us and that there wasn't a fan in the room, but everything else was great. we would definitely stay here again if we visit soon.

Yelp
Modern, bright and airy, new boutique-hotel in downtown. Element has much to recommend it - the concept is based on connecting family and friends in a home-like hotel. Friendly staff, free breakfast, sleek, open lobby and dining area, comfortable rooms, lobby bar, locked garage. A Marriott property. I'd happily return here when I need to work downtown. My regular Denver stays include DIA Westin, Halcyon Cherry Creek, and Kimpton Born at Union Station. It just depends where you need to be based. All are very good, so happy to include Element in my list.

Yelp
Very nice room with full kitchenette and dishwasher. Breakfast was good. Cleanliness was ok. Had to ask for extra lines and towels, only 2 people in the room. Parking was ok

Yelp
We stayed in this hotel the very first night it was open. A few kinks left to work out (our TV is very crooked on the wall and the hot/cold handle for the shower is backwards). Overall a very beautiful room with extremely cozy bed. The downstairs lounge/cafe area is lovely. The included breakfast was a very nice touch--including hot breakfast items like mini egg frittatas or egg white scrambled and an array of cereals and pastries (including GF options). This is also a fantastic location near museums/16th street mall/the Capitol!

Yelp
In the nicest way possible, avoid at all costs. We walked in and the lobby was nice and clean, staff was friendly and we were excited. We walked into our room and there was an open box of candy on the couch as well as candy all over the floor. We opened the fridge and there was opened ice cream. We called down and they switched our room but barely. Nobody helped us with our luggage( we have a four month old with us and lots of baggage), nobody even brought us up the key. Once we switched rooms, we noticed blood spatter all over the floor, paper taped up and covering the fire alarm as well as someone's dirty wash cloth and shirt in the closet. SUPER unimpressed with the cleanliness and wouldn't recommend

Yelp
Hotel was amazing. We checked in very late due to an overnight flight. The gentleman at the front desk with blonde hair was very helpful checking us in, as well as most of our stay. We went out late and arrived late so he was the common person we always saw. Super welcoming and friendly! The room and hotel itself was VERY clean. Firepit outside was beautiful. The parking at the hotel itself was $25 a night, but there is a public parking area right across the street for $12 a day FYI. I specifically chose hotel because the parking charge wasn't high like other ones directly downtown, never felt unsafe walking from the lot to hotel. Quiet area to be honest, which was amazing to get rest at the end of a long day. Definitely staying here again when I get back to Denver.

Yelp
Excellent space. Clean, modern, surprisingly quiet. The staff were great. The wheelchair accessible king suite was truly, really, actually accessible with two roll under sinks and a roll under stovetop. Everything was very well thought out and we were impressed.

Yelp
Clean and well stocked rooms. Easy walking access to lots of downtown activities. Stayed during a convention and staff were all very friendly and welcoming.

Yelp
I thought this hotel was awesome! Very modern, warm, friendly atmosphere. Staff were wonderful, helpful and kind. Beds were so comfortable, had nice couch to lounge on. Bathrooms were clean and sleek. Great experience!

Yelp
Stayed for one night only on a family trip (close to the airport, first night in Denver after a long flight) and the hotel is beautiful and very well appointed. My reason for the low rating is that my e-reader (Kobo) was not returned to me after I left it on the bed with the cover thrown over it. Realizing my mistake almost immediately, I called the hotel at the end of the same day I checked out. The informed me that room had already been serviced and no e-reader was found. Such a disappointment....clearly someone had taken it. I asked to leave my phone number so the staff could be asked 'one more time' if they located the e-reader and reluctantly they agreed. Of course I never heard anything from them. Would like to believe that people are good but in this case it's clear that my loss was a hotel staff's gain. I do encourage the management to take guests queries about missing items much more seriously and respectfully.

Yelp
Ophelia took great care of us at the bar. Great drinks and fair prices. Would recommend.

Yelp
I'm a Gold elite Marriott customer, and I can honestly say this hotel BY FAR has the worst front desk/management of any Marriott property I've stayed at. Not only was a I overcharged, I was refused a refund for the overage, I have NEVER seen such horrible management. DO NOT stay at this property

Yelp
Nice place! My husband and I stayed here over Labor Day weekend because we wanted a place downtown. The prices were unbeatable for a holiday weekend! The staff is very friendly and the room was just what we needed. We came during COVID, so the breakfast and coffee bars were shut down, but the hotel did a great job of making reprimands. There was extra coffee you could take to you room to make, there were to go bags of breakfast (a bottle of water, a fruit cup, and a granola bar), and there were free bags of ice. Our room had a fridge, microwave, sink, plates, cups, coffee maker, and filtered water. My only tip is that you don't need to pay the $18 for the parking garage. We did street parking every day and never had an issue.

Yelp
Check in was easy and the price was reasonable but when we got to our room at midnight (when our flight arrived) there were zero towels. We were told room service only runs until 4 pm and had to wait until the next day to bathe. I really hated that. Then I expected towels to show up in the morning but I had to call again?. On the note of hygiene, the duvet was just laid on the bed and not inserted into the cover so I could tell the room was notcleaned well, as if the lack of towels, sticky floor, and silverware in the sink didn't make it clear enough. I'm only giving 2 stars for the location- about a 6 minute Uber to Larimer Sq, 16th St and museums but the homeless population makes it difficult to walk/bike or scooter so don't count on that.

Yelp
If I could leave a zero I would. This hotel staff doesn't communicate at all. I set up reservations 3 months ago, on the day of my stay called and spoke to a young gentleman to make sure we got our rooms side by side as we had 2 rooms. Walk in at 4:45 from driving and the rooms are still not next to each other. Worst hotel service, staff, and communication most of all. Why boom two rooms if they can't even book you next to each other.

Yelp
Not going to lie, never heard of Element before booking this reservation. However, it's on my radar now! The place was immaculate, and I'm pretty sure it opened up within the last year. Some of the perks of the hotel include its cleanliness, the gym was functional and not the size of a closet like some other hotels, daily refreshments including fruit-infused water and coffee and cookies every evening in the hotel lobby, better than average breakfast options with some non-traditional and tasty items, and a 2-hour open bar nightly Monday through Thursday. The only downsides are that you need to pay for parking and valet your car (if you consider valet a downside like I do) and you have to pay for breakfast. Otherwise, I was pleasantly surprised. I'd likely stay here again if I'm in the area and suggest you check Element out as an option for your travels too.

Yelp
Place is fairly clean. However the rooms aren't well designed. The AC goes on and off and is extremely loud. The air blows right at your face. Also they have some recycle truck that came 4:30 or 5:30 am which was extremely loud and woke everyone up. Service was generally friendly so no complaints there.

Yelp
Female with Red top at front desk on 6/23 9:45 pm. EXCELLENT JOB TAKING CARE OF THE CUSTOMER. A customer wanted to use a smoking area and was told by different employee that's there was not one. He asked if the street was the only place to smoke? A girl with a red top jumped in and allowed guest to smoke in outside patio as it was late and the area is not the safest. I thought it was super amazing how she protected the customer and kept safe. When in Denver I will always stay here just for that.

Yelp
Element has been open for business 4 days. The hotel definitely needs to be repaired. Problems range from no air conditioner, and no hot water to the housekeeping staff leaving rooms unclean. Both soap and Shampoo dispensers are sealed shut and can not be opened. The breakfast is a nice touch but the hotel doesn't have enough food to feed the guests. The beds are comfy and the location is good. Be prepared to pay $40 per day for parking. There is a bar on site and they offer a few light snacks. Wait until they work out the kinks before you spend $260./per night parking not included. In addition the lights in my room turn off suddenly then after ten minutes they turn back on. Very strange.

Yelp
This is a truly great place!! Clean, friendly, safe! Love the location and staff. Kevin (our Valet) always made us feel welcome and helped with directions and recommendations around town. The only thing I would have liked to see was an ATM in the lobby. Will definitely stay here again and recommend to friends and family!!

Great service! Very clean and modern! We had the 4 bedroom suite and we had some complications with booking a second night but Jocelyn helped very much!!! We will definitely be back!

Yelp
We stayed here recently during a trip to Denver. The hotel is in a great location if you are looking to visit the Arts district. It is a short walk to the Denver Art Museum and the History Colorado Center. The hotel was clean. The bed was very comfortable. The shower was spacious and the water was hot. The hotel bar is nice and the seats are socially distanced(hopefully someone in the post COVID age won't know what I'm talking about)

Yelp
if i could give zero stars I would, we stayed there a week, the bathroom in the lobby smelled like rotten seafood the whole time, then our reservation got messed up and they tried to refund us one day and ask us to leave early, once they fixed that we were charged over $500 for an additional day.

Yelp
This place is disgusting. No toilet paper, no towels, no sheets. The bartender will serve you ten drinks by yourself if you want though so there is that. No trash bags. My kids and I saw someone take a dump on the sidewalk for the first time ever from our window and we are from California. The second night there was a party in the parking lot. The people standing outside the entrance had a real nice drug dealing business going on. There was a line and security person and everything. They should get zero but I gave them one because they have free coffee. Also forgot to mention we stayed for three nights and the room cleaning lady never came one time. Like I never seen on the whole floor the whole time I was there. I don't even want them to clean my room but my husband does and they never came around once. He took all our trash to an elevator trash can the second night(pizza boxes). The fourth day we left it was still there.

Yelp
Front Desk Supervisor, Rosa Louis canceled my reservations without my permission that had been made for over two months. I recorded the conversation and will be contacting Corporate to play the message for them which has Rosa informing me that she canceled my reservation so that she could book someone else at a higher rate. She continued to lie and tell me that no other reservations had been made within the past two days when my father made reservations at 1:00 PM today. After being caught in the lie, she said that she would call her manager to reinstate the reservations but did not return the call. She told me that it did not matter that I had confirmed reservations. She was moving me so that they could book someone at a higher rate. I am a business owner and cannot believe the poor level of service provided by Rosa Louis of Elements Denver Downtown. I definitely recommend staying away from Elements due to their unethical behavior. It is not okay to cancel someone's reservations the night before their trip because you want to book someone at a higher rate. Marriott should have made this matter right, and should definitely look for another front desk supervisor.

Yelp
3 weeks in Denver - great location to base from stayed in the 1 BR Suite - separate sitting/living/TV room, and small kitchenette - 3/4 fridge, stovetop, microwave. well-appointed for a couple to stay for a while. newer construction (2019 i believe) - new workout room, good gear, great veggie breakfasts every morning. very accommodating and helpful staff. The location is super - quiet set of blocks, but close striking distance to downtown, LoDo, Larimer, Broadway, Cap Hill - very close walk to the art museums. A great place if you don't want city noise all night. Will be our go-to for stays in Denver. very chic, european styling, with some rocky mountain accents.

Yelp
Awesome customer service by 2 gentlemen that were there during my stay. Great interior look and the rooms were fantastic. A slight problem with the tv but was taken care of immediately with a simple call. Recommend 10/10.
