Rooms were so cozy and clean! Lobby area was spacious and had plenty of room to eat breakfast. Breakfast was great. Service at the hotel was awesome! The only thing I didn't like, was that the store didn't have anything other than a very small collection of Pepsi products and not many snacks. They seem to be really into the wine and had plenty of that. It would've been nice to have a selection of food to put in the microwave and other soda choices. I would definitely stay here again! BTW, if you're looking for a great bed, you will find one here!

Had a fantastic week at Element Sedona! The rooms are comfortable, clean, and boast amazing sandstone views. Enjoyed the delicious daily breakfast and their nice fitness room. Its location is perfect, very close to Bell Rock, Cathedral Rock, and nice restaurants right across the street. Customer service was lovely. My only small issue was a delay in room cleaning on one request, but otherwise, everything was great. I'll definitely be back! Highly recommended.

Our family was very satisfied with our first trip to Sedona and the accommodation we chose. The room was very clean, and the large refrigerator, induction cooktop, and microwave were extremely useful. There was a grocery store right across the street, which made it convenient to pick up anything we needed. We really enjoyed using the pool and jacuzzi, especially since we were traveling with a child. Breakfast was also a nice bonus, but it was a bit disappointing that items like milk and other foods were not refilled, even though there was still over an hour left until breakfast ended. Still, overall, we were happy with both the price and the facilities, and we would definitely consider staying here again if we visit Sedona in the future.

Second time we stayed here. Loved it the first time but not this time. There is a sheet to protect the mattress which is loose on the bed. It keeps wrinkling up and really interfered with my sleep. The AC was too hot or too cold, blows on the bed and makes a lot of noise. Fingerprints all over the bathroom door and well, the check in is really not very interested.

A great place to stay! Very comfortable and the front desk is so kind! We had to stop here because our child was ill and couldn’t keep going down the hill home. You can stream on the tv which made all the difference for our kids. It was clean and nice and cool! We will be back for a future stay!

Google
The room was lovely with a full-size fridge and all the amenities. Breakfast - a lot to choose from except if you're gluten-free. There was a sign that said ask for gluten-free muffins or bread but there were none available the 2 days we stayed. The walls of our room were very thin. We stayed here the Valentine's Day weekend and could hear our neighbours celebrating all night long! The staff at the front desk and the fella making hot breakfast were very helpful and friendly.

We arrived and were promptly greeted. We received excellent dining and local handmade shopping advice. The drinks and service at the bar were both amazing. The hotel and rooms were both clean, welcoming and comfortable. Very short drive to Sedona attractions and a good stopping place prior to Grand Canyon!

Spring break family trip with our small pup and the element surpassed all expectations. It was clean, modern and really inviting. Beds were unbelievably comfortable and the room was really spacious. It felt like a new hotel unlike other Marriotts with a kitchen this was well planned out and bright and welcoming after hiking all day. Happy hour specials were excellent and the location can’t be beat—take out from amazing restaurants just steps from the hotel.

Yelp
The first thing to make sure it is clear is this hotel is not in Sedona proper. You're on the outskirts and during a busy weekend it could take you some time to get into downtown Sedona. Some people prefer this because it gets you away from the chaos and there's plenty of shopping and places to eat nearby. You're actually co-located in a shopping center with a number of restaurants, which is really nice! We stayed two nights Saturday and Sunday. Apparently the computer system went down on Saturday and folks were unaware of our room was occupied. So we were woken up three times in the middle of the night due to the confusion. Once that was resolved, our Sunday stay was very pleasant. Our suite was nicely appointed. It even had a toaster, glasses, and basic things you would need, which was wonderful. If I was traveling back to the area and didn't want to stay in downtown, Sedona, this place would be on my list. I'm always on the lookout for modern and friendly hotels. And this place is great in that regard.

Yelp
Clean Friendly Bar was very good and convenient Pool even though outside is heated to 85 degrees Quiet close to SEdona but away from the maddening crowds Great room

Yelp
This particular Element has some pros and cons. First the pros. The rooms are very nice and comfortable. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The step in shower is really super (there is no bath tub). On the minus side as other reviewers have pointed out the Element is not really in Sedona and is some distance from the CBD and since Sedona doesn't hav public transportation nor even Yelp getting to the downtown can be a problem if you don't have a car. The Element seems to be designed to operate with minimal staff and there is no restaurant. They do provide a free breakfast which is better than average. There is only a burger or pizza place in close walking distance. The burger place is only open in the evenings so if you want lunch and don't have a car you are out of luck. Rooms do have kitchens so you could prepare something as there is a Clark's supermarket nearby and they also have a limited selection of microwaveable items for sale in the hotel. Water pressure in the rooms is low. All in all however I would return.

Yelp
Not bad! Element by Westin was a suitable hotel for us during our trip to Sedona. The hotel is about 15 minutes away from downtown Sedona. The best part about staying here is driving up the scenic red rock highway on your way in to town. There are coffee shops, restaurants & wine tasting rooms near the hotel. They also have a bar & libations available to purchase in the lobby if you need a night cap. Our room was clean, spacious, and the water pressure in the shower was GREAT. The pool seemed to be active at all times, so keep that in mind when you check in. The pool & hot tub was also very clean. All of the staff was friendly to us during our stay. The gym was solid, and they also have a Peloton available if you are down to cycle. Parking was a bit annoying because of the $20 per night fee. They have a pretty popular restaurant next door named Butterfly Burger, and those customers tend to take up parking spots at the hotel. With all that said, I would stay here again if we decide to visit Sedona again!

Yelp
We stayed at the Element in Sedona in July for a golf tournament. We liked the convenience of location, filtered drinking water in the room, and the 4 complimentary Tesla chargers (they have adapters for other ev cars) The room itself was very spacious. We stayed in a studio with two queen beds. The room had a nice shower but no tub :-( Plenty of storage space with an ironing board and iron. Nice coffee machine and working stove. There is a complimentary breakfast which consisted of a small yogurt station, bread/pastry station, and "hot" station that served eggs and sausage. Would have liked more "hot" choices but the bread/bagels/pastries were good enough. The hotel was pretty clean. For our two night stay they did not make-up our room but that was okay.

Yelp
This place is about 2 miles outside of Sedona . But Oak creek has its own commercial establishment. Walkable from the hotel. The hotel itself is clean, well maintained. Great amenities- hot tub, pool, bar b q area, fire pit, gym, laundry, bar and best of all free breakfast. State here for 5 days and made this the base to drive to other parks outside of Sedona. Parking and Wi-Fi are an also free. We stayed in the 3rd floor. Spacious, clean and great views. They are dog friendly too. I would stay here again if I had my dog.

Yelp
Beautiful hotel and rooms. Pleasant staff. Breakfast was delicious. Would stay here again, highly recommend!

Yelp
I came here with my boyfriend on vacation and this was the first time staying here. Check-in was easy. When we went up to the room, we had a nice view of the pool, and the room was clean and fresh. The pool was amazing and nice to swim in. They have complimentary breakfast, which I loved. Every morning, it is different. We had French toast, omelets, quesadillas, pancakes, there are other things like bagels, toast oatmeal, juice, and fruit, and they have coffee 24/7. It's in a good area where there are so many things you could do that are close. If you want to hit up the grocery store, you could bring back food and cook it on the grill that is by the pool. I'm not sure if all rooms come with a fridge, microwave and toaster but our room came with it which was a long size bed. The things I didn't like was the toaster smelled really bad when I used it. I couldn't eat my bagel because it smelled up the whole room really bad. I'm not sure if they cleaned the toaster with chemicals, but it smelled like it. Please change the toaster in room 303. Also I didn't like that the room service people never came by our room to give us clean towels or to make the bed. We stood there for 5 days, and the room wasn't cleaned up. I had to put the trash out in the halfway for them to pick it up so that's a negative mark that they could work on. Besides that I would stay in this hotel again.

Yelp
This Element outpost has potential, but fell short in a few key areas. The person who checked us in was disinterested, at best. I had to ask about breakfast hours, where the elevators were, what to do with the parking pass, etc. The guy who checked us out the next morning was a delight. I hope he can pass some of his customer service skills onto her. The breakfast included a semi-homemade hot item, which was a nice touch. Otherwise, it was a standard 3-star hotel "free" breakfast. Like others have said, the $20 parking fee is a scam given that this hotel (a) is in a town where you pretty much need a car, and (b) sits in a shared strip mall parking lot. The biggest letdown was the room. The standard king room was tiny. Like, old-school European hotel petite. Smaller than the guest room in most homes. Fine for one person, but tight for two. It also looked out on the pool, which was noisy until well after 10pm. The bed pillows did not hold their shape and there was only one set of towels. The worst parts? Our room reeked of dog and had paw prints on the walls of the bathroom. Also, the HVAC sucked. Or blew? The only settings were icy cold wind on your face or sauna-like heat. Needless to say, we didn't sleep well. The lobby and fitness center were very nice. The location in Oak Creek was lovely and convenient. Despite these pros, the cons will keep us away until they get resolved.

Yelp
this element is fantastic and it's because of the staff. after dealing with a disaster airbnb experience, we were panicking to find somewhere new to stay for the remainder of our trip. thankfully there was availability at this hotel, and the gal who helped us that was so kind and empathic. i want to give a huge shoutout to lily - without your kindness, i'm not sure the rest of our trip would have gone great. the room was awesome and so clean and quiet. the breakfast was amazing here too. i would highly recommend this hotel if you are looking to stay in sedona and we will definitely be back here for our next trip. thank you!!!

Shawn B.

Yelp
Excellent location. Great pool, clean! Well appointed rooms. Free breakfast ! Easy to get to from anywhere and easy to get to downtown Sedona and trails. I think the $20 dollars a day parking is just a "money grab" as they don't have to worry about parking from other businesses. ( Shame on you Marriott. )

Yelp
Lovely hotel, incredible view. Everything is clean and spacious. We only stayed for one night, because we were on a long road trip and had to be off to the next destination, but we wished we were staying longer! The LARGE pool looked inviting, but alas we just didn't have the time and energy to take advantage of it. We had two rooms, and each had a kitchenette, and a sitting bar. Very spacious. Fairly quiet, despite the rooms faced the pool. Had a very restful night. Also the breakfast was one of the best we had in this long road trip. The hotel was sold out, and the staff was overwhelmed. But they were extremely nice. Definitely will stay again!

Yelp
Good price, great quality. Breakfast - free breakfast and it was great! - omelette bar - chobabi yogurt bar - many options for bagels, toast (even gluten free, and English muffins Rooms - super nice rooms with kitchen - bathroom was really nice and huge - great water pressure Other - there is a heated pool and hot tub. We didn't get the chance to go in, but people were using it! - nice gym - area to fill up your water bottle is to the right down the hall when you walk in - there is a bar that closes at 10

Jason W.

Yelp
Pros: good location in the less bustling South side of the attractions in Sedona, good looking hotel, really large pool and hot tub area for an Element hotel. Cons: free breakfast easily overwhelmed when hotel is busy = long waits for the single hot station (this is just bad design choice by Element), and really spotty hit or miss service (examples: we were given the wrong room twice upon check in by two different people, no towels by the pool, microwave in room didn't work, someone left our door open when we were away - watch the doors here as the deadbolt automatically extends if you leave the door open too long).

Steve P.

Yelp
Rooms have very thin walls which create poor sleeping arrangements. Never again! Pay more for sleep quality.

Nids A.

Yelp
Gorgeous views! Great rooms, staff, breakfast, and close to everything. My fav is that they are pet friendly, I enjoyed my visit and will stay here when I'm in Sedona. Kudos to the staff for being polite and welcoming!

Matthew W.

Yelp
My Fiancé, her friend, and I stayed here during our Saturday through Monday quick Sedona trip. My Fiancé and I have stayed here three or four times now and have enjoyed our stay each time. The hotel is on the south end of Sedona about 15minutes from uptown where all the main shops and restaurants are for the touristy section. The hotel has some beautiful views of the surround red rocks from the grounds and rooms. The hotel is not fancy when it comes to the breakfast in the morning and does not have much for vegetarians other than bread, bagels, fruit, and yogurt but it's something and it's included. The fire pit, pool and hot tub area are nice and clean and a great environment after a day of hiking and exploring of the area. Our rooms have always been clean and tidy. We will continue to use this hotel during our Sedona adventures due to the location and price point.

Jasmyn S.

Yelp
The moment I walked into the lobby to check in I received an email that they can't accommodate our stay. I confirmed with the front desk that they had over booked the hotel. This was a holiday weekend that left us with no options. We ended up driving 3 hours to the hotel and then this happened. A phone call would've been nice but instead the only emailed us so we would've known earlier and had the chance to book elsewhere. Jason & Izzy told us to contact customer service for a refund which was BS. They did nothing to help us find accommodations anywhere else. The only place with rooms was 45 minutes away. I'll never be back here and I'd never suggest this place.

Cindy D.

Yelp
I have recently become aware of 'Element' hotels and was pleasantly surprised to find out that Sedona had one as well; upon arriving we noticed the beautiful mountains in the background and the familiar signature yet minimal look of the hotel design! Our original room had an issue that needed addressing right away so we phoned the front desk and they handled it promptly and efficiently which was greatly appreciated, especially since we were tired from traveling! During our stay we enjoyed the fresh breakfast, the laundry room services (even though some of the washer/dryers were out of service) along with the use of the pool, hot tub and outdoor fire pit on the patio! Overall we were happy with the cleanliness of the hotel, the kindness of the staff and the additional amenities throughout! 10/10 we would stay here again if in the area!

Shannon T.

Yelp
We didn't spend too much time here as we checked in a little later and checked out pretty early but I'm so glad they had a room available! We left our first hotel to come here instead and it was a far upgrade. The pool area was clean and the water was warm enough even though there were no towels. The breakfast was good they have a parfait bar which was pretty nice, a cereal bar and pancakes with minimal waiting. Thanks for saving us!

Douglas S.

Yelp
Nice hotel, rooms, pool, location, and even bar however, they charge a $20 parking fee and for internet each night you stay. I feel these are frivolous charges for a hotel of thos caliber.

Karen B.

Yelp
I loved the hotel; the kitchenette was perfect, everything was clean and cozy. I was exhausted and needed to rest while there and I was able to do that. But be warned they will put a hold of about $300 on your card even if you paid for the room ahead of time; I guess there is a sign at the front desk but I was so tired when I checked in I missed it. Advice: use a credit card, not a debit card, because the debit hold is up to 14 days. I've been back from my trip for over a week and the hold still has not been released. i had to dispute it through my bank, the hotel staff was not helpful at all.

Yelp
A month ago, we reserved a four-night stay at the Element Sedona by Marriott. The Element is a newer property located ~six miles South of Sedona in the Village of Oak Creek. The location was perfect for the small event we planned to attend in Oak Creek. We arrived at the hotel at approximately 9.30pm. I was quickly disappointed at check-in that my Marriott Titanium Elite status means nothing at the Element. There was no acknowledgement of status and when I requested a bottle of water, I was told I could purchase one from the cooler. The other surprise was that I was informed that I had to pay an additional $15 per day parking fee. I was surprised since I was already paying over $1,500 for 4 nights. They blamed the fee on a Sedona requirement, which I found out later not to be true. To add to the insult, there were no available parking spaces adjacent to the hotel so we ended up having to park in a remote lot, ~200 yards from the hotel. Not an enjoyable option with luggage. We had selected a small suite. The room was nicely appointed with a small kitchen. The room was cleaned properly. We were given a room facing the front of the building and the main road in Oak Creek. You might need ear plugs if you are a light sleeper if you are on this roadside. The sound insulation for the hotel is rather poor and you will clearly hear the truck and car traffic. In summary, the hotel rates were not aligned with the service level we received. I would have appreciated knowing in advance that you may have to park in a remote off-site lot if you arrive at the hotel after 9.00pm. I also would have appreciated knowing in advance that there would be no housekeeping services for guests saying four nights or less.

Dominique W.

Yelp
We stayed her for three days and will definitely stay here again. Our group consisted of myself and two teenage daughters. Check in was seamless. The front office staff was fantastic! We loved the complimentary breakfast! They also had a a nice happy hour! The outside seating with the fire pit was a bonus as well!

Zabrina W.

Yelp
Great hotel. I have stayed with element in the past and they all have similar set ups. Breakfast is included with cereal, yogurt parfait, bagels, coffee etc. I usually book the one bed room bedroom because I travel with children and there is a basic kitchen set up in the room. I recommend this hotel for a simple stay not luxury but provides basic needs.

Ian C.

Yelp
Rooms are smallish , Views and outdoor spaces are kinda crappy. They put Book of Mormon in every room.

Robert N.

Yelp
We stayed at this hotel this weekend, but it has several flaws. It looks and feels like a typical Marriott property, but instead of creating a functional property, they went with the trendy look. Several large family's were staying here including ours was staying here, which created an issue with not enough seating space for breakfast. This place needs more seating space inside, but went with couches instead of tables. It created a situation where you had 1 person eating at a 4 person table, and a large family standing around because they had no place to sit. Staff was overwhelmed by the amount of people eating and clearly could'nt handle it. The large table was often occupied and it was clear that this hotel was not ready for everyone to be at breakfast at the same time, which they need more staffing for. Again, trendy over functionality. They need functionality. The lines were beyond ridiculous for breakfast on both Sunday and Monday waiting over 20 minutes for one hot item, and often plates and silverware were no where to be found. Nate was good but that only can get you past the shortcomings for so long. They really just need a buffet style. We asked for a 2 queen bed suite. We thought we were getting two separate rooms with a separate living area with kitchenette. What we got was a standard hotel room with an included kitchenette. Trendy over functionality here. Its deceptive marketing on Marriott. We also asked for upgrades and connecting our two rooms together, neither we got. Instead of putting our two rooms across the hall they put them beside each other. The staff at this hotel is clearly overwhelmed and was not happy with the exception of Aspen who went above and beyond to help us. She was a rockstar out of our stay here. Pool area is nice and the grills were perfect, but this hotel when it was built they clearly did not realize the need for family lodging including large family lodging and wasn't very accommodating, even to bonavoy members who have status. Even when the shortfalls were pointed out they tried to hide under the were not a real Marriott umbrella and we are a subsidiary. It's such a shame because this hotel could easily knock it out of the park if it went for functionality over the trendy look. Fire pit still is broken, Coffee was missing in the afternoon and often out. There was some serious misses on this hotel. The parking charge is a bit overwhelming considering the place isn't even in Sedona and is like a normal hotel, which most don't charge for parking. Overall, they could have done much better. The pool area was often missing towels. Room service was a joke and did a "refresh" every 48 hours that only swapped out towels and wasn't a real cleaning. It's sad because it was a poor level of service compared to other hotels in the area. They could have knocked it out of the park but hit foul balls only to strike out! Much better options for the price point in this area.

Alexei N.

Yelp
Nothing says luxury about this hotel. Not its paper thin walls, so you can hear people walking in the hallway, nor the cheap finishes in the rooms, nor the mattress that sags and doesn't support your body, giving you a backache in the morning, nor the worn out towels, not even the clogged up sink. The only luxurious thing about this hotel is the price - $370 per night, which was a vastly and ridiculously inflated rate. And, by the way, the hotel is not anywhere near the Sedona city center. It is at least 15 mins away. To add insult to injury, the staff of the hotel was dishonest with us. When we checked in, we asked about upgrades for Gold Elite members, and were told that they were fully committed and no upgrades were available. However, when we came back the same night and asked to address the clogged up sink in our room, a different hotel personnel offered us an upgrade (no repair man was available). The entire experience would not have been such a disappointment had it been fairly priced. You might put up with the above inconveniences at $164 per night, which was the price for Days Inn hotel close by. But at $370 per night you have different expectations. Not sure if all Elements hotels by Westin are like this or if this is a particularly bad example, but the stay left a very bad impression on us.

Shelly N.

Yelp
Great hotel, had a king suite with kitchenette and separate loving room. Clean and modern. Standard continental breakfast with breads, cereal, yogurt bar, fruit and a different hot option each day. Frittata was good, pancake maker needs lessons. Great value.

Marta H.

Yelp
Giving this property 3 stars because the rooms are pretty amazing! Comfortable bed, big bathroom. It's like Residence Inn on steroids. You can't really knock the area, Sedona is gorgeous, and as a loyal Marriott member it was a no brainer to book here as we were driving through. Pet friendly property, though you have to walk a few blocks to find grass (in front of an apartment building) which certainly is a bummer early in the morning or mid-afternoon when it's hot. They usually have breakfast in the mornings, but since the pandemic, they are only serving grab & go, but with a well stocked kitchen, you can just pick up groceries & cook yourself. The only reason for the 3 stars is my distress level at NOBODY wearing masks. I would imagine there was some sort of corporate directive from Marriott, but apparently not. No masks, no plexi at the front desk.....ummmm hello?? Does the word pandemic mean ANYTHING? I would definitely come back, but likely not in the near future until I know, and feel, it is safe

Meghan M.

Yelp
Great hotel for staying close to Sedona and enjoying the beauty of the red rocks. We had a large room with full size fridge, cooktop, and a dishwasher. The patio also has 2 large glass grills available to use along with grill tools available. The heated pool was a big hit with our kids as well as the breakfast with a daily offering off the grill : French toast, omelettes, etc along with bagels, toast, English muffins, cereals, yogurt bar, etc. Staff was friendly. Accommodations were clean!

Albert K.

Yelp
Stayed here during Christmas 2022. Like others reviewers, I was annoyed by having to pay for parking ($15/day). Especially since that was not explained to me upon check-in. That being said, the facilities were very clean and quiet. The rooms were well equipped, and other than extremely dull knives (which I understand) they were as advertised. The gym was also reasonable and I did not see much of a crowd. Also, despite pretty cold temperatures (high 30s to low 50s) the pool and hot tub were well heated and fine even for our young kids. Also, the location was very nice and there were plenty of food and shopping options within walking distance. Overall, very pleased with out stay and would do it again.

Ian K.

Yelp
This hotel was ok for the price. The rooms were decent size. We had a room with 2 queen beds and sofa sleeper with a table in the room which was useful for indoor dining. There was also a refrigerator/freezer and stove top. The fitness area was good for a hotel and there never was anyone in there (see photos). They do give a continental breakfast, however, with the pandemic they only were handing out food and ran out of most items. It seemed to be mainly small muffins, yogurt, cereal, and fruit. Some of the lights in the room didnt work and the back door to the parking lot was never locked. I think they may have been understaffed due to COVID. It is a good location on Route 179 before Sedona. There are several places to eat around there and near Bell Rock hiking.

Jennifer T.

Yelp
Pros: decent location (even if not in main town of Sedona), dog friendly, clean, free Tesla chargers Cons: parking $15/night, no non-diary milk options for breakfast I enjoyed my stay at Element Sedona. It's not in the town of Sedona (about 15 min drive to the main city) but it was still close to many hiking trails and some restaurants. I stayed in the one-bedroom suite and it was super convenient to have a kitchenette. The kitchenette included a fridge + freezer, microwave, dishwasher, coffee machine, toaster, filtered water tap, cutlery/crockery, paper towels, and dish detergent + sponge. with a stove, fridge, freezer and even dishwasher. There were a lot of dogs in the hotel but I didn't hear any of them barking and they were all very well behaved. For a dog-friendly hotel, the room and facilities were really clean. The only thing was I noticed some stains on the bath towel (it was obviously washed but just old). Other than that, it was great. Service was friendly and they even accommodated when my friends wanted to switch rooms. The things that can be improved on: breakfast bar should include some non-diary milk choices (they only had 2% or whole milk) and parking should be free ($15/night).

David N.

Yelp
Booked through Expedia April 17-23 and they doubled charged us. Have made several calls as they charged us for the room stay on top of the Expedia charge. Talked to Scott the manager who indicated it would be removed in 24hrs, yet nothing, have called for three days straight always getting someone else and they will send it to Scott. Now informed he is out the next two days. We had a great stay but being billed double for the tune of $1200 extra is the end of the line. You can see it was booked through Expedia, why make you client call at least 5 times and each time get told it will be taken care of?

M K.

Yelp
The hotel did not meet expectations, especially considering how much it cost per night (~$400 which includes taxes and parking fee). It is peak season so I understand it will cost more. The person that checked us in was friendly and nice. The person that checked us out was not friendly. The room was spacious and clean. It had a kitchen area with fridge, microwave, sink, dishes, dish soap, paper towels which was ver convenient. There's a nice pool, jacuzzi and barbecue grill outside that looked nice but we didn't have time to use it. The hotel location is good and provides a beautiful view. The bed was soft so my husband's back and mine hurt everyday. I asked the front desk if they can switch out the mattress and they said they didn't have an extra mattress. They did say they will see if there's something they can do. We didn't notice the difference since our back still hurt the net morning. Note when we got home we didn't have any back pain after sleeping on our bed. As noted n the attached photo, the room should have been "tidied " every other day. I was expecting to at least get a change of towels. That did not happen. The bathroom faucet had very slow water pressure. The breakfast looked pretty good but there was always a long line with one cook making the food. Our room was facing the th street on the 3rd floor and we could hear car traffic. The hotel itself looks like a typical chain hotel which I think does a dis service to the beauty of Sedona. Every other structure in the village fits the theme and look of Sedona. I think the policy of cleaning every 6th day for a 7 night stay is ridiculous. Why would you clean the room two days before checkout for that length of stay. Note Hilton hotels at least offers housekeeping service upon request.

Yelp
I would give 10 if there is an option! The room was very clean, beds were comfy, the bathroom was clean, the breakfast was way better than a lot of other hotels, the staff were nice and friendly, the pool area was great, and the parking was easy. I recommend 100% for anyone to stay here!! It is such a cute area too.

Yelp
First time staying here. It's a newer construction without a great deal of the "essence" of Sedona. Not a negative, just an observation of the architecture (modular) and the decorum is very clean, but absent of "character". The property on the whole is immaculate (facilities, gym, pool/jacuzzi). It is a great location for local venues in any direction. The staff is professional and responsive to customers, yet they somehow lack a certain zeal for "friendly" interaction with customers. Check-out @ 11:00am is nice. I had an enjoyable morning @poolside, with coffee while the wifey took advantage of peaceful slumber. I highly recommend a visit. I will certainly be back!

Yelp
Called to ask a question about ESA pets and policy. Not from Arizona and wanted to clarify. I was rudely told by Aspen who answered the phone no 6 different ways. She seemed offended when I attempted to ask a question. In CA it's a law and they cannot charge you for an ESA. I will be staying somewhere else this trip to Sedona.

Yelp
Awesome hotel. Last minute booking as we arrived with our cousins and family. Checked out three hotels in the Sedona prime area and eventually worked our way out to the southern part of Sedona. The second we walked in we were greeted by Patricia and Jon. Awesome and friendly plus's accommodating as we had 10 people. Capturing all the Elements of nature, spacious surroundings and upscale rooms that were clean and relaxing. Neutral color tones, blues and browns my favorite with hints of green against Sedona seed rocks. Breakfast was killer and fresh. Yummy coffee. Would stay here in a heartbeat. Why wouldn't you want to stay....we will be back!

Yelp
Breakfast is horrible. Didn't meet my dietary restrictions so I asked begged one of the women working the hot food bar for a couple boiled eggs and she gave me them. Her unprofessional boss or coworker then started scolding her about it in front of me making me extremely uncomfortable. I've had more options at a days in and at least they don't give you a 2 ounce portion of food. Other than than, rooms are really nice and the front desk guys at night time were great. Maintenance guy was cool too. Jacuzzi is nice. Rooms don't really have a good view of the red rocks but at least they do have a balcony. Gym is a joke.

Yelp
Nicely located, good pool and jacuzzi, comfortable rooms with kitchenette. Free hot breakfast with an actual cook.

Yelp
The hotel itself was as expected. However, they put a "courtesy hold" for $30 on February 26 when we checked in, even though we were part of a group and paid by the organization. We did not charge anything but they kept the $30. We did not have a car. I've called them twice, they could find no "reason" for any charges, and said they would contact the accountant and get back to me. Nobody has gotten back to me and it is now March 15. I disputed the charge with the credit card, but they said the merchant had 30 days to respond! Not much help from them either.

Yelp
I booked this hotel super last minute for a quick getaway with my fiancé. I specifically chose this place because we brought our two dogs, & this was a pet-friendly hotel. After a long drive to Sedona, we ended up at the hotel a bit earlier than the check-in time, which was 4pm. I asked the employee at the front if there was any way to do an early check-in because we wanted to check out a winery tour that started at 5pm. She tried her very best to accommodate me, which ended up not quite happening but I still appreciated her effort. All of the employees I encountered were very friendly and welcoming. Overall, the room itself was very nice. We had a full kitchenette which was super convenient. It pretty much came with everything as well, such as dish soap, sponges, mugs, coffee maker, fridge, microwave, etc. It was also very spacious which was nice for the dogs to run around in. Everything was very clean and tidy. Another plus we liked was the free breakfast. It was nice to not have to find anywhere to eat, plus worry about how to get there because we wanted to hike as early as we could. The breakfast was very good, & there were lots of options to choose from. They had fruits, bagels, a little yogurt bar, a chef that could make you some scrambled eggs, sausage, hash browns, and much more. There are also Tesla chargers where you can charge for free which was perfect for us. There's even a little grass area in the front of the hotel for your dogs to do their business at. It's also a nice walking distance to many things (5 min walk to a gas station, coffee shop across the street, 5 min walk to wine tasting room, etc). I did feel like it was a bit pricey (around $330/night), but I am pleasantly happy with everything so it was worth it. Thank you, Element Sedona!

Yelp
I'm finding it really difficult to bite back my irritation and not leave a one star review. We arrived here early and were told our room wasn't ready. (Perfectly understandable as it was before the check in time.) The clerk advised returning at 1 p.m. Upon our return, we were told we could check in but would have to pay a $40 early check in fee. Not only was that not mentioned before, but there's nothing I could find anywhere on the hotel website about this either. I've stayed in hundreds of hotel rooms. You're never guaranteed the ability to get into your room before check-in time, but once your room is clean and ready EVERY hotel happily hands you your key, I couldn't believe how greedy and opportunistic Element was to be levying this charge. To top it off, my husband is Marriott Titanium. Yeah, I know that sounds entitled but there's a lot of brand loyalty tied up in that title. And by the way, he didn't even bring that up to the clerk, knowing she could see it on his profile- he just paid the $40. So - hoping you will not be subjected to any money-grubbing tactics, I can state that Element is a fairly new, nice property. The rooms are laid out well and have the benefit of having a full fridge, microwave, cooktop and dishwasher. We had a west-facing third floor room which had some appealing red rock views. It's not the most soundproofed place, but it's a fairly solid choice for a stay in Sedona. They just need to rethink their policies and the impact they have on Marriott-loyal guests. Personally? I'll make sure we stay at the Courtyard Sedona next time.

Yelp
I'm a sucker for Marriott brands! This new Element by Westin is a fabulous property in a city littered with older motels and hotels. It speaks of the higher end Westin brand with its more contemporary design. The rooms are well done with little kitchenette areas, spacious studios, 1 bedroom units, and ample common areas for hanging out! My only regret is not being able to experience it without the restrictions of Covid-19!

Yelp
Hotel was absolutely amazing! We went on a family trip here with our 1 year old. Elijah was working night shift when we arrived! He was great. No complaints at all. We loved the rooms and the pure water.

Yelp
We needed a pet friendly hotel with kitchenette and this hotel popped up on my search. Since they are part of Mariott, Bon Voyage perks work here! Hotel seems fairly new and very well kept. This location is in the outskirts of Sedona but if you enjoy peace and quiet, might be a better location. The nearest attraction would be the Bell Rock and it's just about 10 - 15 minute walk (less than a mile away) from the hotel to the trail. Our room was spacious and sparkling clean. All the staff I have encountered during my visit were friendly and accomodating. The beds and beddings were all very comfortable. My husband wanted to purchase their pillow to take home. Nearest restaurant is a walk away and if you love burgers, you'd love the Butterfly Burger in the same plaza. Torta de Fuego is also in the plaza. There is a coffee shop across the street from the hotel and they've got breakfast too. Lot more eateries are in Uptown or downtown Sedona which is about a good 20 to 30 minute drive from the hotel (with all one lane road with those annoying roundabout circle thing). Breakfast is provided and happy hour drinks are $5. There is no grass area for pet relief but gravelly areas are all around the property. Would definitely come back and stay again in the future. **daily parking charge $15 ***the noise from the neighboring rooms are easily heard - may need noise canceling headphone if you're next to a family with a baby crying at most random hours.

Yelp
Interesting place to stay, dull and gloomy overall environment yet overall is comfortably adequate. Having the opportunity to regularly stay over many accommodations across and occasionally outside the country, not a professional hotel reviewer by any means, and not a regular business traveler - but as a primarily pleasure and needs wanderer, I have developed as what I believe is my concise method for scoring the worthiness of each hotel visited. My criteria are as follows and the results are: 1) ease of access to and from public or private ground transportation [Score 3.5]; 2) convenient and safe parking [Score: 3.0] as lighting seems sparse, and walk paths to and from vehicles require long distances (especially with luggage), safety being an issue; 3) access, accuracy and convenience of check in and check out [Score: 3.0], either of our two keys issued did not work; 4) atmosphere, ambience, public facilities, lounging areas and access to an office center and Wi-Fi access [Score:4.0]; 5) overall customer service - including but not limited to Hospitality, Support Services, Concierge knowledge, communication, attitude and demeanor of staff [Score:5.0]; 6) quality, cleanliness, value, convenience, amenities (i.e., ironing board, iron, TV, charging access, phone, et.al.) and comfort of rooms, beds, room safe and/or valet services [Score: 3.5]; Taking all the aforementioned categories in a scale of 1 star to 5 stars with 1 being the worst and 5 being the best a hotel can be! This rates a: 3.6. Most positive point(s) at this hotel are: the overall cleanliness and immaculateness of the property, albeit very institutional and every area looks the exact same. We often thought this place looked more office-like or institutional. Like being in an empty hospital... all is so brightly lit, yet dreary in ambience. Most negative points found here are the following: peculiar to this location are no places to put your toiletries in shower or bathroom walls, shelving is non-existent, limited trash containers throughout inside and outside of property. Having included hot breakfast with price, there was no hot breakfast the morning we checked out. My price to value to overall assessment: good to above average.
