Elephant Reach Hotel

Great location! We stayed here for 1 night and the hotel is surrounded by the nature which is we admire always. It’s convenient and easy to access the Yala national park. Quite big room with bit old basic amenities, the beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean and tidy. The place is calm and love the environment. The pool is nice and quite spacious. But not very deep. Buffets were average with considerable choice of foods, and food was good. Staff were friendly and attentive throughout the whole stay. Overall experience was good and happy to be back again!

Apart from its location i'm sure there must be a better hotel around. Admittedly, it was booked a little more on price but you get what you pay for. The only redeeming feature was the pool ! The rooms and bathrooms were extremely dated (although comfortable beds). The food quality for both dinner and breakfast was extremely poor and not enjoyable at all. Although the staff did try.

+1. Good location. Well appointed large rooms with good beds, mattresses, pillows, and large bathrooms. |+2. Superb surroundings, well kept lawns, trees and other nature elents. The garden staff are awesome. |+3. Ms. Nawodha, Ms.Shakiya, Ms.Dileka and Mr.Hasitha, all are front office staff, who are professional, attentive and courteous. Sri Lanka needs more good workers like these guys in the hospitality sector. A big thank you to them. |+4. Restaurant staff are good, courteous, and very efficient. A big thank you to all of them. |+5. Reasonably good food. I believe the food could be better. The chef must work on creating better food with more variety. Food is a very important aspect of any hotel, and it should be handled carefully. |+6. A very good size pool, very well kept. The pool young attendant gentleman is absolutely hardworking. He is really am assett tpnthis hotel. He keeps the pool absolutely clean at all times.

From the moment we made our booking to the day we left, our experience at Elephant Reach Hotel was nothing short of outstanding. ||A special thank you to Hasitha, who personally looked into every detail from managing our reservation to arranging our safari seamlessly. His attentiveness, professionalism, and warm hospitality made our trip truly stress-free and enjoyable.||The hotel itself was comfortable and welcoming, with great facilities and a relaxing atmosphere after a day out in the wild. The safari was perfectly organized, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience.||Highly recommend Elephant Reach for anyone visiting the area — and if you can, ask for Hasitha. He will make sure your stay is unforgettable!

SPA: A truly wonderful experience — relaxing, professional, and the best part of my stay. Restaurant: The Mongolian station looked very appealing, but I noticed the same pan was used to cook both pork and chicken. As Muslims do not consume pork, having separate utensils would help make the experience enjoyable for guests with dietary restrictions. Room Service: I requested a blanket at night, but unfortunately it didn’t arrive despite a few follow-up calls which was quite disappointing. Overall: With a few small improvements in service and food handling, this hotel has the potential to provide an excellent experience for all guests.

We had a lovely time at Elephant Reach Hotel. The overall experience was very good. The staff were truly exceptional.friendly, attentive, and always willing to help, which made our stay even more pleasant. The food was tasty with a good variety, and the surroundings were beautiful with lots of greenery, making it a peaceful escape. The pool was clean and well-maintained, and the spa services were excellent very relaxing and professional. The only area that could be improved is the WiFi, which was a bit weak in certain areas. But apart from that, it was a very enjoyable and comfortable stay. Would definitely recommend for anyone visiting Yala!

The room and the bathroom is big and spacious but it’s very old. The chalets are quite nice and peaceful with nature. Not many things to do in the hotel. Food was decent with a good spread.
