Elephant Reach Hotel

We spent one night at Elephant Reach as part of our visit to Yala National Park and I so wish we could have stayed longer! What a lovely place. The rooms were clean and spacious, already set up with an extra bed for our kiddo. Check-in was easy, all staff members were very attentive and kind. We had a short window of time before our safari departure and the restaurant was able to quickly whip up some food for us. After the safari, we had a lovely time at the pool which was clean and well-maintained with towel service. Buffet dinner was great, and we particularly enjoyed the local dishes and desserts. My only suggestion would be to please label which dishes are vegetarian--although there were plenty of options for us, it was difficult to tell in some cases which were veg.

The pool is a good size and towels were available. |Beer and wine were available.

From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. The hotel itself is beautifully situated, offering a peaceful atmosphere and stunning views. The rooms were comfortable and well-equipped, making our stay truly relaxing. A special thank you to Shan, who went above and beyond to make our experience even better. He kindly provided us with the exact change to pay the safari driver, which was incredibly thoughtful and showed his attention to detail. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Yala. The hospitality and attention to guest needs really stood out!

The resort is close to yala national park. We booked with the hotel a game drive which turned out very well. The resort is protected by a wall and security service. Nicely integrated to nature and nice pool area. Also the cabins and beds worked well for us. Excellent cook who tries to fulfill every wish you have. Also the rest of personnel is very friendly und service oriented. They helped us to arrange trips even though those were not in scope of the hotel. There is no bar or hard alcohol license.

What truly made our experience special was the outstanding hospitality provided by the entire team, especially the manager, M. Mano. Her infinite kindness and availability made us feel welcome every moment of our stay. We were also blown away by the delicious food – each meal was a delight, full of flavor and authentic local tastes. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to relax and unwind. Thank you, M. Mano, and the entire staff for making our stay unforgettable! We highly recommend to anyone looking for a unique and memorable escape.

Elephant Reach Yala was a fantastic stay! The rooms were spacious and well-designed, but what truly stood out was the incredibly friendly and attentive staff. The close proximity to Yala National Park was a bonus, making the safari experience unforgettable. Highly recommended!

In general the hotel has spacious rooms and cleanliness was okay. Quite loud and we could hear our neighbours It’s more a 3 star according to European standards. The dinner buffet is expensive at 12$ per head and the staff is overloaded so takes time to refill the food. The staff did their best but just too many tables.

Stopped by for lunch while visiting Yala Safari and had a pleasant experience. The staff was welcoming and friendly, creating a warm atmosphere. The pool area was lovely, surrounded by a beautiful setting. The food was decent, meeting average expectations.
