Elephant Reach Hotel

The Hotel was located close to the Yala National Park.|The grounds of the hotel were well maintained. The rooms were well maintained and stocked. The shower was good and the washroom were clean and well maintained.|There were good complimentary toiletries.|There was a safe locker in the room but it was not fixed and hence someone could walk away with the locker.|They had a very nice vegetable garden and it was a source of supply of vegetables for their restaurant.|The pool was good and well taken care of. The Bar & pool table room was good but could do with some additional decor and lighting.|The restaurant was good. We enjoyed their buffet breakfast as well as their buffet dinner. Good, fresh & tasty spread of dishes, suitable for international and local cuisine. Pricing for the buffet dinner was slightly on the higher side.|I would definitely recommend the Elephant Reach Hotel if you are in the area.

Our stay at Elephant Hotel was truly exceptional. The team was incredibly proactive, professional, and genuinely kind. We had quite a few unexpected issues on our side, and every single time they went above and beyond to find solutions quickly and efficiently. Nothing was ever a problem for them — they were always supportive, calm, and solution-oriented. Their level of care and dedication really made a difference and turned potential stress into a smooth and enjoyable experience. I cannot recommend this hotel enough. Outstanding service, amazing team, and a truly memorable stay.

We were encountered by very friendly staff who greeted us with welcoming drinks and a cool towel. We felt very welcomed and pleased. The hotel is at a very nice location and is aesthetically very pleasing. Unfortunately the taps were not working properly and some rooms seemed slightly unclean, but in conclusion a very nice hotel.

The staff deserves a special mention incredibly courteous, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. Whether it was arranging safari timings, assisting with requests, or simply checking in to ensure we were comfortable, their service was exceptional. The food was another highlight of our stay. The meals were delicious, well-prepared, and offered a great mix of local Sri Lankan flavors and familiar options. Dining here felt relaxing and satisfying after long safari days. Overall, Elephant Reach Hotel offers the perfect blend of comfort, nature, and outstanding service. We truly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Yala National Park. We would absolutely love to stay here again on our next visit to Sri Lanka.

First of all, we would like to say that all the staff at Elephant Reach welcomed us very warmly. They gave us the best they could. They were always in touch with us to ensure that we did not miss anything. The hospitality was of a very high standard. They also provided us with great assistance in our visit to Yala National Park. Very nice luxury resort. Rooms are spacious, clean and have all modern amenities. Location is excellent for national park safaris with free pick up and drop at the resort.

We had a fantastic 2 night stay here at Elephant Reach. We had Christmas Eve here and the staff went above and beyond to make the dinner and night special. They had welcome drinks, decorations and amazing food cooked in front of you for dinner. After dinner they had a special dj and lights set up with fireworks to finish the evening. It felt so special and Christmassy. On Christmas morning we were greeted with little Christmas gifts and a beautiful breakfast. The staff make this place truly special. Location is great with 20 mins into Yala park or 10 mins to the beach. The pool is clean and pretty. Food was incredible for dinner.

Lovely stay at Elephants Reach. Perfect location for the Safari. Beautiful location, with pool. Buffet dinner was very good and attentive service from Amali. Walk in shower was perfect after a long day, however sink looked a little tired and stained. Rather loud AC. All members of staff very helpful.
