Elephant Rock Cafe

Fantastic meals. Was very impressed by the service and quality of food. Staff were very attentive and accurately served our meals even with the changes we made. Menu has some interesting choices for something a bit different, and coffee was tops. Brilliant view of the beach too. Very impressed.

We dined here for breakfast this morning and were able to be seated at a table with a beach view. We had a friendly main waitress but the one who delivered us the meals wasn't very happy... Anyway, the green juice was ok but had a little too much ginger. The meals were lovely - I had a quinoa tempeh salad and added a poached egg. Reasonable prices.

Fantastic lunch, we had the fish board which was an amazing grazing selection. Best meal we've had in the GC.

I'm going to forever dream of the Salmon Pastrami dish . Fresh and delicious food. Chill vibe and nice views.

Not much to look at from the outside. Just another cafe? No, this place is awesome! Service is 5 stars. Menu is varies, creative and very tasty. The cocktails are excellent value. Atmosphere inside is spacious, modern and romantic.

Had a lovely lunch with my aunty from interstate. Such a beautiful outlook and atmosphere, showcasing our amazing south east gold coast. This is the life!

Good coffee and cake with a great view. The staff welcomed us as we walked in which was very nice and the service was efficient. Then we had a short walk across the street to elephant Rock with some great views up and down the coast. You can easily ride here from coolangatta which is around 7k along a safe bike path

Set directly opposite the beach at Currumbin, very popular with the locals. Can sit upstairs on the deck great breeze and great food.

This is a conundrum because while the views and the food were pretty good, the service was absolutely terrible. Like so terrible that I can't even rate on the food or atmosphere alone. This was the slowest meal I've had in a long time, to the tune of 2 hours for lunch when it wasn't busy at all. The food itself was good. I had the apple, fennel, and golden raisin slaw as a side, a little mayo heavy but pretty yummy. I actually ate it all and I don't normally eat all of anything. For the main I had the chargrilled chicken burger--pretty good flavors overall. Two of my friends had the pulled pork sandwich, which they liked a lot too. The chips were good, tomato sauce was heavy on the vinegar and light on the sugar, kind of typical of Australia I think. Probably wouldn't go back, but I did enjoy the view.

So good.. The view is amazing, the staff - the perfect mix of attentiveness and leaving us with getting on with a. Eating b. Staring at the ocean and c. Drinking. Lunch was a yummy open steak sanger! The beef was lovely and tender.. The wine - Pauletts Polish Hill Resiling - so refreshing on a summers day.. And desert was an amazing fig and white chocolate meringue.. First day of holiday SCORE!

Just ate lunch here. Goats cheese croquets with a lovely beet root and caramelised walnut salad. Very yummy. I also ordered the hot chips with aioli which were hot and crispy. I was served promptly by friendly staff. In fact, I have been to this cafe on numerous occasions at all different times of the week and have always found the food to be of a high standard. The location is stunning. Directly across the road from Currumbin Beach with sweeping views of the ocean. Take a jacket with you as the days get cooler because it's open air, and enjoy!

Great food!! Lovely location will be returning ! Really reasonable priced too.. :)I had the beef burger was huge and only at $18 with chips too, delish!! Happy customer

Arrived for lunch on a Sunday, was served warm beer and waited over an hour for our meal. Had the chief's special which was Barramundi which was very nice though.

Great coffee! Excellent sea breeze, casual vibe. Perfect catch up place on a weekend afternoon. Calamari Salad = YUM! Team are very friendly.

Good food but most would come here for the views and the beachfront atmosphere. Parking can be a pain especially during the day on weekends with all the beachgoers. Service was friendly but staff were pushed a bit keeping up - just the time of day though. Will go again.
