Where to Stay While Traveling to AlUla, Saudi Arabia - AFAR

"An iconic sandstone formation literally shaped like an elephant that became a local focal point for early glamping experiments during the pandemic, with an adjacent Airstream RV park where Saudis first tested outdoor stays prior to more developed glamping offerings." - Laura Dannen Redman

Easy and scenic stop near the east entrance of Valley of Fire. The formation truly resembles an elephant! Just a short walk from the parking lot, perfect for photos—especially at sunrise or sunset. A quick yet iconic landmark worth seeing.

Stunning rock formations. We were going to Vegas from Utah and thought to visit this park, we thought to take some trails but unfortunately it was way too hot that day, so could not hike much, so we drove through the park and stopped at view points and took some small trails. It was not crowded and people those who were there most of them were just driving through. Visitor center/ gift shop and staff working there are great. People also come there for their wedding photography. It was interesting to view Silica dome/ fire canyon, took White domes scenic drive, saw petroglyphs site, arch rock and beehives etc. There is an entry fee, parking available, I would recommend before going there check the temp, if you really want to enjoy this amazing park. Couple of the great view points were closed in the end of month May- Fire Wave and Pink Canyon.

This is a really short, easy hike from the entry station parking lot or visible from the road if you just want a glimpse.
