Elevated Acre

This is such a beautiful garden area at 55 Water Street. I went up a set of escalators from the outside. Security did not let me inside to take an elevator, which I heard was an option. There were lots of beautiful plants and flowers. Many benches and picnic tables. I love this area and would love to go back and have lunch there. There were some people there, but it wasn't too crowded on a Monday afternoon. I recommend stopping by here.

What a magic spot in the middle of the skyscrapers in the heart of Wall Street! Silence and a wonderful view on the water!

Fantastic little park that's pretty hidden but open to the public. It has picnic tables, benches, and a large open area with stadium type concrete stairs/seating along the sides. A great spot to tuck away for lunch or to read. The downside is that it's near a busy road and helipad, so despite feeling hidden it gets quite noisy from time to time.

First time here after walking by the escalators for years not realising there's a park up there. There is an elevator behind the escalators and steps. The park is well looked after and clean. Plenty of colourful tables and chairs. Some shaded areas, trees, shrubs and flowers. Large artificial grass area. Views across the east river, and helipad.

Came here for a picnic, honestly its really hidden we got lost a couple times but once we got there we were amazed. The area is very quiet and empty, the grass was clean, and just walk up a little you’ll see the water. It was a nice place to relax while still enjoying the city views. 10/10 recommend if you want to have a quiet picnic and unwind a little from the hectic city, the only con is that there was no public restroom around, other than that the place is wonderful.

Went here with my mom and enjoyed great views with some wind shelter and sunshine. Could definitely be improved, but not bad for March. Tried to find/use elevator, but it was not accessible due to construction. Would definitely return with coffee or lunch.

This spot is truly a hidden gem in NYC. I'm always looking for unique parks in NYC and when a YouTuber I follow shared this one I immediately added it to my list. This is a very small park, but it's really cute. The style of it reminds me a lot of the High Line (though it's not linear or anywhere near the size). There are also some nice views over the water. This is probably the quietest park I've been to in NYC. I think we saw one other person while we were there. I definitely recommend checking it out!
