Service was fast and my server was very nice and attentive. My mocktail was delicious. I also had chicken wings and fries. Both came out piping hot! So that meant it was fresh and it also tasted very good!

Came here for beer and coffee. Nice outdoor seating with great views of big mountains. Everyone sitting outside in ski boots drinking coffee and beer. I got the cafe vennois with the whip creme on it. Really good 👍 Place is busy, not so easy to get a seat.

Very nice place. Food is good. They offer kids menu. Atmosphere is so nice and cozy. The best of all is the waiter, so kind so friendly. We enjoyed it!

Best atmosphere in Chamonix for drinks and food with friendly staff. We came here a couple of times first for drinks on a busy Saturday evening. Then for food on a Sunday lunchtime. Both times the staff although very busy were really friendly and made an effort. The menu had a lot of choice and although we only shared loaded wedges we wanted to try more but it didn’t start till 5pm. Would recommend!

A nice burgerplace on the side of the street. Nice robust tables and good staff. Close to the trainstation but it didnt bothe me. The food was good, the fries were crisp and the burger was very good (I ordered the biggest on of course). Not very cheap but still worth it.

This place is great!!! We’ve tried a few places in Cham but this was our favourite so went back a couple of times. Food is excellent value for money compared to many others. Teenagers loved it too. Burgers are huge and the best I’ve had in a long while. Salads are amazing too but be warned they’re not small… which is great too. Service was really quick and pretty friendly considering how busy they get. Definitely recommend giving them a try.

This place is very good. The people who work here are so good at what they do. Very professional and polite. The service was quick. I chose to have a classic burger which was a good price not expensive and wow I can honestly say it was the best burger I have had in such a long long time. It was hot, fresh and delicious I really enjoyed it. We are from the UK, only staying for 4 days but I will make sure I return to Evolution 1904 to eat here again. Very good burger and fries, nice options in the menu with fair prices for the city. A few premium beers available (not cheap). The waitress was very friendly and the waiting time was quite short for the completely full place at the time. More toilets would be good mostly for women's.

We had the burger of the day and the Eiger-which is crispy chicken sandwich with lettuce, bacon and Caesar sauce. Both were outstanding. Service was good considering the French don't rush you at all. Location is right in the mix if Chamonix with great outside dining.

Salads are amazing. We had the Elevation and the fish salad. Super fresh ingredients Great beer selection Right off the train station. Perfect location.

I only order baquète and butter for taking my meds in the morning. Coffee is lavazza and it is my fav coffee brand. I loce sitting outside and didn't fet too lucky, a woman smoked right behind me. The only thing i hate about Europe.

Best Bar of our life's!!! I saw the food during some what normal hours and thought it looked amazing, even if our group didn't eat. But if your in Chamonix and looking for a good night out, head to Elevation for a personal experience like never before. Our bar tender pushed us with more drinks we could image, bringing our party to another level. Order the Jaeger Bombs;) At the end of the night, we had so much appreciate from the attention of the staff like I have never felt before at a bar. Leave a good tip because these guys deserve it!!!! Thank you guys soooo much!!!!

Elevation 1904 is located in central Chamonix directly across from the train station. I wandered in there for breakfast on a rainy, cloudy morning and was pleasantly surprised by the friendly staff. The coffee was wonderful and I had the scrambled fresh eggs and toast which although basic, were quite good. Given my experience, I ventured back for breakfast a second time and was not disappointed. If one isn't going up to the peak or hiking early AM, this is a great place to energize for the day. I will definitely return on my next visit to Chamonix

Great spot to hit after a long hike. Chill and laid back vibes. Cheese and meet board is big enough for four people. Wings are some of the best I have had in a while. No sauce needed.

Great spot to grab a bite and is directly across the train station which makes it convenient. Grab a drink and food with friends or while you wait to to grab the train.

Elevation 1904 was our lucky find for breakfast! The English Breakfast is a plate full of food - two eggs, toast, bacon, beans (of course!), hash browns, tomatoes, and sausage. My husband was quite happy with his selection. I ordered the egg and bacon baguette. I expected one to come out, there are two sandwiches on the plate, more than I could eat. This is definitely a "locals" kind of place. There were two EMT types having their breakfast also, while we were there. This being a vacation for us, we skipped coffee and went for beer with our breakfast! With regards to breakfast section and value, It can't be beat! *They have Wifi, but for some reason it wasn't working for me. I saw several other people on their computers, so not sure what was going on for me.

Great breakfast, lunch, and dinners at a fair price. Lively crowd at night. A meeting place for locals and tourists. If you are looking for a bar with a wild party - go across the road to Chambre Neuf. Elevation 1904 is still a must-go in Chamonix. If not for a meal, at least go for a beer. Moo, the restaurant next door, also seems like a great place, although it is slightly more expensive than Elevation 1904, so we decided to pass on it this time.

Great lunch spiot by day....cool bar by night! Made a few visits here over my week in Cham and loved everyone of them. They do good if not spectatcular food that is ideal when stopping as part of a busy day. What I did love was the wine list, as with all of Chamonix its extensive and has a great selection of qaulity and good value wines. Top pick was the San Lorenzo Chianti! :o)

During our stay in Chamonix - Elevation 1904 was our nightly stop for drinks/laughs after a long day of outdoor activities. Pleasantly surprised to find live music outside and a pretty lively, friendly crowd. Being some of the only Americans to stop by - we were greeted with a very warm staff who happened to become good friends of ours by the 2-3 day we were there. By good friends, I mean they would sit and chat with us and serve us up shots until they closed without charging us a penny! We were basically family... I love places like this back in the states where you can sit at a table and end up becoming friends with everyone around you. Cant wait to go back!

Elevation 1904~ My husband and I wandered upon this corner cafe for a late lunch and a cup of cafe au lait. It was one of the best cups I have had this past week while visiting Paris and Chamonix.. It had just the right amount of coffee and steamed milk. Not too strong, not too weak and in a nicely sized cup (not too small!) Mmmm.. Love that cafe au lait! We chose a seat outside, as always, while in France! We were greated by a friendly waitress within about 5 minutes, but they were very crowded this afternoon. I had a chicken salad while my husband had a chicken sandwich on French bread, of course! Both were very good, as nothing was left on either of our plates! The views were awesome, as most all of the places here in Chamonix.

Fan? Deffinatly! These guys whip me up my *café créme" almost every day as take out! Though thier kitchen skills sometimes are "left to be desired" (my pregnant sister was served a raw chicken breast in a panini 1ce) usually they are one the mark! The atmosphere is always relaxed yet once you get your order in, very fast.... but you can tell the people working there are friendly, nice and even though seasonal.... very proffessional. I give it a 5 in kudos for keeping a lively atmosphere and great bar food!

Veggie burger! Granted it had cheese and fried hash brown potatoes, but it was the easiest thing this vegan found in the valley. Cheap lunch too. Burger and 50cl beer was 14€.

went there every morning for fresh croissants and coffee. Stopped there midday for glass of wine, had food and drinks at nights. Incredible place with the best Apres Ski ambiance, love the staff and the locations. I am jealous of the person reading this review , contemplating eating here.....

Ate here today and enjoyed a good quality burger and chips. Have eaten here previously and standard of food is always consistent. Restaurant is fairly basic but good outside seating if weather decent. Always busy as near footbridge leading to Montenver train. Handy for a cheap hearty lunch.

We absolutely LOVED Elevation 1904. Yummy food with a great view. My husband and I both had burgers with a side of fries, and were super pumped on both. They have lots of menu options, and it is located right in the middle of town. We can't wait to eat here again next time we are in Chamonix!

Started out watching the last winter Olympics at Elevation 1904, and plan on winding up there at some point during 2014 Olympics next month. The bar's full of a fun international bunch of winter sports enthusiasts to watch the games with in February.
