Elevation Convening Center and Hotel

My stay at Elevation during my time in Montgomery was an exceptional experience. The staff is friendly and attentive to all of the guest’s needs. The design and aesthetics of the hotel is the most striking. The space is elegant and affirms black art, literature, and design. It is a great space for anyone visiting Montgomery, the spirit and the intention of the hotel is consistent with the excellence of the legacy sites. I truly enjoyed my time at Elevation. It is a perfect place to get away with family and friends or a business meeting and feel affirmed and revitalized. I enjoyed all the amenities in the room and the comfort that it provided during a weeklong stay.

I just returned home from a week long stay at the Elevation Hotel. From being greeted so warmly at the from door, to the comforting fragrance upon entering the lobby, and the sound of Jeffrey Osborne singing throughout the sound system, it felt so welcoming. My room was exquisitely appointed, the bed was so comfortable and the pillows were amazing (I really need to order some for my home). The pantry on the 8th floor was so thoughtful and the snacks provide in there were much appreciated. The library was an extension of everything we were immersed during our trip and a beautiful space to sit, learn and reflect; the restaurant food was delicious; the meeting rooms were lovely. The staff members were pleasant, professional, and efficient. ||I truly cannot wait to visit again. My time at the Legacy Sites and all that we did during our retreat, made resting at the hotel much more meaningful. Everything has been created with such intentionality. Absolutely one of the best hotel stays I’ve had. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded expectations — the rooms were spotless, the amenities were top-tier, and the entire staff went above and beyond to make sure our retreat attendees were well cared for. I stayed at Elevation as a part of a restorative retreat. Knowing nothing about the hotel going in, I didn’t have any preconceived notions about it. I was impressed visually at first, then by the professionalism of the staff. I was surprised by new discoveries at the hotel on a daily basis with the crowning jewel being the library. What an amazing property. I can’t wait to come back with my family.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Hands down the BEST hotel experience in Montgomery, unmatched luxury & black- owned excellence!! There is nothing and I mean NOTHING like Elevation in Montgomery, Alabama! This stay was booked as a birthday gift for my friend, and what we experienced exceeded every expectation. First, I have to give the highest praise to Calvetta Smith. Her positivity, professionalism, and genuine willingness to help are the reason this stay became unforgettable. She was gracious, attentive, and truly went above and beyond to make a birthday celebration feel special. Customer service like this is rare, and Calvetta delivered it effortlessly. She is a true asset to this property. Now let’s talk about the panoramic room because whew. It is worth every single penny!!! The room is absolutely stunning. Floor to ceiling windows with automatic curtains wrap around the entire room. There is a separate living room area with a dining table, a guest bathroom, a bar sink, refrigerator, freezer, a Nespresso machine, and a hot tea kettle. The shower is massive , easily fits two people with a double vanity that feels like a luxury spa. And let me shout this from the rooftops: THE ICE MACHINE HAS NUGGET ICE. HALLELUJAH. 🧊🙌🏾 That alone deserves applause!! Not to mention eleven86 water bottles in room, WOW! The entire property is gorgeous. Modern, intentional, luxurious, and welcoming. Every detail feels thoughtfully designed. The vibe, the cleanliness, the atmosphere, everything is on point! What makes this experience even more powerful is that Elevation is black-owned. The pride, excellence, and level of hospitality here truly show. This is what it looks like when we do it right. If you are visiting Montgomery and not staying here… what are you even doing? There is no other hotel in this city that compares!! We will absolutely be back and I will be recommending Elevation to everyone I know.

I truly loved my stay at this hotel. Every member of the staff was incredibly kind and welcoming, and the entire property was spotless and visually stunning. The artwork throughout the hotel was both beautiful and inspiring, and I especially loved the library filled with books and thoughtful recommendations. The sculpture of the little boy in the library and the documentaries playing in the theater room added such a meaningful touch. Standing on the bridge leading to the pool, which crosses the very street where Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. once marched from Selma, was deeply moving and made me feel proud and blessed to be on such historic ground. The room itself was wonderful, clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. I appreciated the complimentary robes, the soft bed, and the overall sense of calm and comfort the space provided. I also loved the variety of entertainment options, including the free HBO app and the ability to log into my own streaming services. The restaurant food was delicious, served hot and full of flavor. Overall, I had an exceptional experience and am already looking forward to returning once the second part of the property is complete.

Breathtaking in more ways than just design. Visiting the Legacy Sites with a group of fans of Sharon Says So, our Saturday evening dinner was at the newly opened Elevation Convening Center and Hotel. Here's our experience. 1) Dinner: To house our group off 22 people, we were in the Rise conference room. Despite being a conference room, they set it up well. Tables had white clothes and fancier silverware. A little bar was set in the back serving cocktails, wine, beer, etc. A small buffet line was off to one side with delicious food. There was a salad, warm rolls with butter, mac and cheese, broccolini with garlic confit, fried chicken, and short ribs. For dessert, there was banana pudding and chocolate pie. Everything was excellent! To drink, servers kept our cups filled with ice water or sweet tea. 2) Space: The entire center is new and beautifully designed. Take the time to wander and see the grand staircase. Don't miss the library where you can learn more about EJI's work. Inside is a door to the Reflection Garden and a theatre to watch EJI videos.

Beautiful hotel, delicious food, and elegant ambience. Will definitely return whenever I'm in Montgomery.
