Chanced upon this place while searching for a lunch place and it just so happened that there were seats here and the menu looked interesting. It has a very different vibe from the Japanese-style eateries located in this food-court-style space within Toranomon Hills and should have a nice and relaxing vibe if you visit at night.
As Elezo specialises in venison and has their own farm in Hokkaido, it is not surprising to see that their menu is largely made up of venison and other more exotic meat. Frankly speaking, I am not the adventurous type when it comes to meat so I was glad to see the pork burger lunch set option. However, the appetiser plate was mainly venison so I gave that to my colleagues instead and did not take a picture of that. There might be more options on the menu during dinnertime but for lunch, it does look like they only offer two options for set lunch.
The pork burger was really juicy and tender and the sauce accentuated the flavour of the meat. The accompanying sides especially the mushroom and tomatoes were very delicious. The staff took time and effort to explain the ingredients and where they came from (various parts of Japan) which helped us to understand more about the dish.
The only downer was the ice tea we ordered which came in less than half a wine glass. For a moment, we were stunned and wondered if there was something wrong or that was supposed to be as such. I get it that iced tea wasn't on the menu for drinks and this apparently was just ice added to hot tea but then having less than a cup of tea served was bewildering. You would be better off getting alcohol or soft drinks which would come in a full glass.
