Eli's Sports Bar & Grill

Called to check if it was wing night. It was. Called back to place an order for wings. Went to pick up wings and the price did not reflect the wing night special. Turns out you have to ask for the special wing price, it’s not a given on wing night. Laughable. Seems like Eli’s isn’t doing well and has resorted to trickery to bring in revenue. Staff member said “they’re really weird about it. You have to ask for the wing night price when you order or they’re full price”. Management must be hurting for money. I bet they’re out of business in 6 months or less. Great wings though.

Came here for a Celebration of life party for our friend Jeff, who was a regular at Eli's as it was his favorite bar. Staff handled 50 people coming in at once perfectly, service was excellent and the staff was extremely friendly. I can see why Jeff liked this place so much! Thanks for taking care of us guys.

Make sure to ASK for the wing night price on tuesdays or they’ll charge you full price. Seems like they’re hurting for revenue. Just take wing night off the schedule and then customers won’t feel like you’re tricking them for money. Management seems to be brain dead. Maybe a stoke? Aneurism?

Nice clean place. All the bartenders/servers have been great. 2 versions of Golden Tee, soft tip darts and Galaga. Food always fast and delicious, usually get the quesadilla or Tender platter. Pitchers of beer are good deal, $10.

Went here to catch a Yankees/Reds game in the middle of the afternoon. It wasn't too loud and the food came out hot. I ordered a burger, fries, and mozzarella cheese sticks, all of which were great. Service was friendly. Would come here again!

Burger tasted burnt but was bright red inside.. Asked for fries well done and they were pretty much raw too.. absolutely horrible!!

In addition to everything else, they have Michelob Amber Bock on draft!

Very accommodating to our large volleyball group after a long day of play. Easy for individuals to order at the counter and food brought to the table. No need for splitting checks which is great. Basic bar food - no complaints. Everything tasted good, hot and fresh. Lots of TVs. Thanks for welcoming us!

Went in for lunch today. I love the quick service model for a work-day lunch and imagine it would be awesome for getting a bite to eat on a night out too! As far as the food....literally the juiciest wings I've ever had. I got the crispy drumstick lunch special. They did not skimp on the sauce like so many other wing spots do. The waffle fries were also pretty darn perfect. Definitely would recommend and will return!

One bad moment in a sports bar doesn't make it bad. Good folk and food. The girls and guys do great job attending to the customers needs.

These wings were to die for!! I had the Garlic Truffle and Sticky Orange with a side of the most flavorful fries. The best customer service from Maxi, she was so accommodating and provided service with a smile. I highly recomend and can't wait to go back to experience more of their tasty wings!!

Decent bar food with cheap beer. Beer selection left a bit to be desired. The double dipped wings are the specialty and actually worth it

Decided to try Eli's tonight for the first time at this location, Horrible service! The bar tender came to our table ONCE when we first got there and never came back for refills ( we were told we had to stay at our table and the bartender would bring us our drinks due to COVID regulations and couldn't go order at the bar) She walked past the table multiple times while we had empty glasses and an empty pitcher, she even made eye contact and still just looked the other way and helped other people. She seemed more concerned with the much older man sitting at the bar who she talked with the entire time. Food was ok, nothing to write home about. I wouldn't waste your time going to this place there are many other good options close by that are happy to serve you! We won't be back!

The service was good but not great. The waffle fries were crispy and delicious. The feta wrap was fresh and very tasty. Wings were good but blue cheese dressing was ok.

30 minute ticket time for 24 wings. Terrible. Who the actual eff could be proud of running this restaurant?!?! I asked 3 times for an update! Nothing!

Visited 5/1/21, it had been awhile since last visit. Smaller menu, chicken and burger sandwiches. It was ok. If you don't sit at the bar, beverage service is poor. Slow to get first beverage order in and Katie A. was too busy on her phone or shooting the *hit with a guy sitting at the bar to check on us for subsequent drinks. However she was quick after leaving the bill to pick it up! Don't blame Covid, let's move on.

Slow service for very average food. The bar is the worst part of the experience. Bartenders sit with their friends and ignore the customer.

In the past I rated Eli's and did not give a very high rating due to employee actions. I like the food, the location and the convenience. But tonight went in with my wife for a quick dinner after she got off work and sat at the bar since there were no seats due to trivia night. Unfortunately one of the bartenders who I assume was not working was sitting at the bar pretty intoxicated, yelling at the working bar staff, playing grab ass with employees coming out of the kitchen and apparently cannot talk without dropping the f bomb, loudly every third word. Did not make for a good dining experience.

This place was once an OK spot to grab a beer and some crappy bar food, but ever since Willie's down the street closed this spot has been over populated and under staffed. The food is ok - I mean this is more a bar than a restaurant. It's a place to get your drink on for a good price. There are always drink specials. The ratio of people to staff is my biggest complaint here. Also, the staff that is working isn't exceptionally attentive when they can be.

I came here tonight because it was still the only place that has kitchen open at 9 o'clock. I should've went home and ate a bologna sandwich. When this place first open it was great, over the years the food has become terrible. If you want to place to go drink with your friends and this is your spot. If your hungry for food go someplace else. Get two burgers with tater tot's tonight to go, They were both way overcooked and the tater tot's or over fried. You would think cheeseburgers and tater tot's would not be that hard to cook but I guess when you're trying to clean the kitchen while you cook or take no pride in what you do then that's what happens. I can only assume the reason they are still open is that people come there to drink the food has been terrible the last several times we've been there. Unfortunately this will be the last time we ever go there for food, we will head up the road to shooters pay a little bit more money for food that is way better And they want the customer to return

Very nice looking restaurant. Food is pretty good and large portions but, a little pricey. The reason I gave it 2 stars is because the young girls who work there are RUDE. They act like it is an inconvenience to ask any of them to perform the tasks in which they are paid to do. I am not the only one who feels this way. Several friends won't give this place the satisfaction of stepping foot in the establishment again. I hear they are pretty nice to men though. People who will like this restaurant- Older men with money. People who wouldn't like this restaurant- Women that are more attractive than the servers and probably everyone else.

Best food! We've eaten there at least a couple times a month! Best fried pickles, wings, burgers, really nothing is bad! Def try it out!

Bad service...burger so done on Black and Blue it was grey and seasoning burnt when I told the barmaid and waitress they shrugged and said there's no guidelines anymore on cooking burgers when I said I asked for med cook on it..forgot tomato even when I asked for it. And this happens every single time we go there. So after a few times we now skip Princeton and Ross locations and Eli's all together my Husband's wings were good but given the employees attitudes and sloppy made food we're done!! The only thing they actually have was a good beer selection..since Covid 19 we have been eating more at home anyway. I would advise skipping this place and doing the same...plus there's so many people in these locations I see very very little social distancing..

I use to enjoy this eating here but now. I waited 30 minute for 12 wings and never receive my food. When asked about order nothing was communicated back to be about order. I asked for a refund and only received a gift card. I have no intention on returning. I was told I could only get a gift card. I would advice anyone to stay away. Visit a different bar before ever thinking about stopping at Eli's.

I love this place. I have been 6 or 7 times now for the Last Call Trivia night on Wednesdays with my husband and a group of coworkers. We always have a great time. The food is pretty good. They have really decent burgers and the waffle fries are excellent. I have had their pretzel bites before and those are also really good - they have a bite to them, which I love. The beer list isn't exactly extensive but they have some good beers on tap and inexpensive prices to go with them. They offer a lot of deals on domestics. The bar is always packed but the bartenders will bring drinks to the table - we have never had any real issues with service. I doubt I'd ever make this place my hangout, but they get a good crowd for trivia and it's a lot of fun!

Food is a little better than what you might expect form a sports bar. Prices are middle of the road but the service is on point.

I come here once a week simply because it is the closest bar to my house. The food is above par for bar food. The problem is the service. If you are not a regular you will be ignored! At tenders will stand and talk to the regulars and not ask what you'd like to drink. When they do, you will a nuisance. I don't sit at the bar and socialize with them and am not there every day. Every time I walk in I wonder why.

Good food and great beer prices. However, we were ignored by the bartender after our first round. I had to get up to get my own drink from the bar. This is not a big deal, but if you're offering table service then you should do this. Staff was too concerned with chatting amongst themselves rather than helping customers. We were not the only ones who had to flag down a bartender for a drink

Food is pretty good but too pricey for what you get. I REALLY DON"T LIKE that way the food and drink orders are separated. We will be back because it is close, but that's probably the only reason.

Food is just OK. Beer prices are good. Help seems in tune to regulars, if you are one. Bar is on the small side.

I really wouldn't call this a restaurant. It's just a bar with terrible food. Nothing original, just basic chicken wings, fries and steak sandwich kinda food. And it's just not good. I've met people here several times and have been unimpressed with anything other than their location. If there is any other option for food, I would advise taking it. The beer is cold though, if you can get the bartenders attention.

This is an ok place with wings and burgers. Probably on par for price. Be aware that any sauce is an extra $1. (Like BBQ for chips or blue cheese for wings). You order at the counter, they bring out the food. You get your own drinks, plasticware and napkin caddy.

worst place ever! the food is not good and the set up is worst. You order and pick up your over priced burgers then waitresses take orders for drinks- strange way to do business - will not go there again.

Our staff often goes to lunch at Eli's on Tuesday's. They always greet us with a smile and friendly conversation. Both Rachel & Abbey are always there if we need something, and even come clean the table when we are finished. The food is great and the staff are friendly and helpful. Try them out for lunch or dinner.

Well, I couldn't be more disappointed in the service as soon as my family and I walk in, we weren't even acknowledged by any of the staff. I didn't know how the service actually worked so we sat down after none of the employees would guide us in the right direction. The food was a huge disappointment. The boneless wings are hard and all bread. The steak hoagie was hardly a steak hoagie and the bacon cheese fries were cold and hard. It relatively kid friendly although the options are not good. Don't go here. Better off going to roosters.

Read reviews on this place and the service, or lack thereof, so had to try it for myself. Let's just say the service reviews were spot on! I went there on a Saturday night, arrived about 10:15. Went to the bar and was totally ignored for about 10 minutes as I sat there. The two women working the bar, one's name was Paige, never even made eye contact with me to see if I wanted to order a drink. Fortunately, a male bartender, Jordan, who was quite busy, came over and asked what I was drinking. I had initially planned to order the wings, as I had been told they were quite tasty, but after my less than stellar welcome, I lost my appetite for anything there and headed to White Castles instead. With service this pathetic, I'm really surprised that this place survives.

My wife and I have been there a few times and we keep expecting it to be better. We ordered the potato skins and boneless wings. The skins came out over cooked and the wings were soggy. I got the fish sandwich the time before and it was over cooked as well. The drinks are reasonably priced but the staff makes you feel like your bothering them. It's too bad. This place could be a great neighborhood bar surrounded by boring chain restaurants.

Go somewhere else unless you are willing to wait all night. Just waited 50 for food while people after us are finishing up. Service us TERRIBLE!!!!!

Good food. Great bar atmosphere. A little pricey and I agree with the post about the girls that work here being a bit rude. That's the reasoning don't come as often.

Have eaten here 3 times now. This bar food at best with the worst service in the industry.

Nice place to hang out and drink, but food has some improvements to make before I would eat there. Has potential for a nice neighborhood place but food has to get better please !

This review is for the Ross, OH location. Don't know if the other locations operate on the same system, but all I can say is if there was a contest to devise the most convoluted system for ordering and paying for food and drinks, Eli's would win hands down. Stopped in after a Bengal's game, sat at the bar and asked for a draft beer and a menu. I ran a tab since I would be eating. After reviewing the menu, I tried to get the barmaids attention so I could order. She told me, I would have to go up to the counter to order my food, but they would bring it to me. I went to the counter, ordered my food and told them I had a tab at the bar. I was told I would have to pay for the food separately. Are you kidding me? So, I paid for the food and was handed a flashing coaster that I was supposed to hold in the air when it flashes again. WTF??? So, the coaster flashes and I hold it in the air and get my food. I gave two stars because the burger was pretty tasty and did not take very long to get it, but c'mon who else does business in this convoluted manner?

Very unprofessional employees went there last night and the bartenders were getting drunk one of the girls was leaning over the bar top and making out with a bar guest. Also I was the designated driver so all night I wasn't drinking then at midnight I decided to take 1 shot when the ball dropped. I ordered my shit and when she handed it to me it was in a rocks glass filled to the very top. There had to of been 4 shots in that glass I had to give the rest of it away. To top it all off not one of the bartenders I.d. a single person. Check the camaras and you'll be amazed. This establishment is horribly ran as someone who works in the restaurant industry I'd fire your bartenders before something happens that won't be good.

Great neighborhood sports bar that you can bring in the family for lunch/dinner. Good wings and burgers. service is great, especially Abby & Rach behind the bar
