I was at the Neo society vegan matcha cafe! Excellent drinks, delicious, treats from sugar free raw choices to old fashioned freshly baked cookies. However with a twist. Ube and matcha cookies !!! Delicious

Market lost all its charm and beauty. I grew up in the neighborhood and it is so sad how so many historic places are being demolished to make space for the same looking, modernised buildings. Why kiwi green on the facade. Why do we need another gentrified market? Other cities protect their old markets and see them as a part of their history and appeal but we tear them down to make space for places like this? The houses look like the temporary containers they had built and all the charm and history is lost. Glad we still have Wintergarten that looks like the old stalls on the market used to. What happened to Denkmalschutz ? The cheese stall we used to go for 20 years has also left as they didn’t want to comply to all the new rules and regulations of the new market organisers. So disappointed and sad to have lost this amazing market to the gentrification of Schwabing

Too expensive

Ich war früher häufig dort und habe wirklich versucht, das neue Flair willkommen zu heißen. Leider klappt es auch nach etlichen Anläufen nicht. Was früher Charme und Individualität hatte, ist jetzt steril und unpersönlich. Ich fand den Übergangsmarkt fast schon besser, die verratzten Container waren nicht schön, aber es hatte wenigstens was von Pop-Up Flair. Jetzt ist es austauschbar, langweilig, glatt. Ob ich jetzt dort etwas einkaufe oder im REWE macht fast schon keinen Unterschied. Auch zum Mittagessen - wenig Sitzplätze, es lädt nicht zum Sitzen oder Bummeln ein. Die Toilette ist immer verschlossen, die Dachterrassen ungemütlich ohne Ende. Der riesen Klotz aka Gebäude nebenan macht die Sache sicher nicht besser. Ein großes Brautmodengeschäft, in dem ich noch nie einen Kunden gesehen habe, ansonsten einfach ein riesiger, anonymer Kasten. Hier wurde eine große Chance versäumt und man sieht mal wieder: das was vielleicht in einem Modell gut aussieht funktioniert noch lange nicht immer im echten Leben. Schade. Sehr schade. Ich vermisse unseren alten Elisabethplatz sehr.

Увы и ах…было лучше! Реконструкция бесспорно была нужна, но ушла душа этого места! Стало и дороже и люднее и грязнее! Хочется старого доброго уютного Мюнхена, но все больше бездушных коробок!

Located in the Elisabethmarkt this is a great shop to buy poultry, eggs and different kinds of game meats and whatever happens to be the order of the day. They have limited supply mostly from the local area and their whole chickens are really good. It looks like it was brought to the market the same day and done by hand. I have also purchased eggs here before and they are excellent. Their prices are reasonable and the people who run the place are very friendly. I have been here on numerous occasions and their quality is consistently good. Not a bad place to go if you are looking for locally sourced meat, poultry and eggs.
