Elite Hotel Ideon, Lund

It’s a nice business hotel on the outskirts of Lund, with (almost) all amenities and a good breakfast buffet. Free bikes to use, very appreciated. However, it turned out that I was booked into a room with no window which was really unpleasant, like living in a cell, not knowing if it’s day or night when waking up. I don’t think it’s ok to charge almost 1700 SEK/night for a windowless room. Tried to change but to no avail.

Great location for visiting my company location. Great lobby, with games, bar and sitting areas. Was surprised by size if room. Was expecting small and wasn't. If it matters, pay attention when booking, as some rooms have no windows. Bus to Lund center was right outside hotel and tram was a short walk.

It's nice and all but the food, unfortunately, was a joke. The highlight was a vegetarian lunch consisting of one (!) carrot and some garnish. Mind you this was during a conference and with no opportunity to get other food for the day. All other meals I've had there were of low quality too, even though at least the quantity was better.

I like the most is the location of the hotel but for a foreign citizens coming from a warm climate will need a heater in room . I was shocked that a 4 star hotel was not having heater in room and the AC was set to 24 degree C and no option to make it more warm. They have good breakfast but it feels too crowdy at times

Excellent service and staff, very kind and professional. Rooms are very clean and functional. The bed is comfortable and the shower is clean and nice. The hotel is a bit out of the center but perfect for business meetings. I stayed there 3 nights and also enjoyed their ping pong table in the basement. The breakfast area is nice and the selection is good.

We stayed at the hotel at the end of December 2023 for the Lundaspelen handball tournament. The staff was very friendly and patient. The breakfast was very tasty, we could also play table football and table tennis. I forgot my retro handheld in the room. Fortunately, the staff was willing to send the console home by mail, which I arranged. I am overjoyed that the console arrived safely. We will be back at the hotel this year and look forward to a good time..... Highly recommended

Good location, stay 4 nights, easy accessibility by bus / trams from train station, in fact we had walk from train station to hotel when just arrived. Staffs is very helpful to assist in our get around enquiries.

Hotel rom was very quiet, without windows but still ok. Good beds and clean room. Bathroom ok. No tv channels only play tv. Breakfast had a large variety of food, waffles, bacon, fruit, yogurt etc. the fresh Brad was the best. Coffee was not best I’ve tried. |Dinner was ok with good and friendly service.
