Few mins walk from Central station, very good location. With very friendly and helpful staffs. The breakfast was very good and with wide variety of food & beverage. There is sauna available. The hotel itself is very classic and in turn, it is quite worn out and a bit old. The room may need some renovation as the hairdryer is the 80s style, also the shower.

We stayed for one night. Fine rooms and clean, friendly service and supreme location. It takes 2 minutes to Malmö central. Possible to check out very late and the breaktfast buffet was very good.

The hotel is quite bad. The breakfast does not even have Expresso coffee.... I had to go out and buy my own. The rooms are quite old. The best thing this hotel has is one of the receptionist called Michael, who was extremely nice person and always willing to help. This makes a hotel better and makes you forget the rest.

The Elite hotel in Malmo had everything I could desire for a hotel where I merely want to sleep, eat, and have a pint after coming back from a long day of work. So lets start with the most important aspects, the beds. They were spacious, soft, and featured 2 types of pillows (feather, and synthetic, in case of any allergies). While not special, I slept excellent. Which brings us to the location. Despite being.located very close to the train station, the hotel was quiet, allowing for calm night. It was very accessible, and the city is easily reached. City trips to copenhagen are also very easy from this location. And lastly, foodstuff. They have an excellent bar, with a good selection of beverages. Same with the breakfast, a wide selection, and even a Waffle Iron 😱. So for me, nothing more was needed (yes, they also have swedish meatballs) I must admit, it was a business trip, I did not pay for the hotel myself, and am not really a hotel person myself. However, if I would be, then I would not mind doing so for a holiday with the quality of the place. The staff was very nice, the beds and food were very good, and the place is very accessible. Not a straight A, but definitely worth it.

It's okay. Room was okay although a bit noisy since it had a patio right next to the window where people would go out and smoke in the night. No beans in the breakfast buffet is a big minus though and means this hotel will not be my first choice for my next visit to Malmö. Friendly staff.

Rooms are good and clean. Amenities are all taken care of. Plenty of choice on the breakfast table, too: I believe there's something there for everyone. This hotel has a decent price/quality ratio.

This property certainly shows its age compared to other Elite properties in Malmo. The proximity to Malmos train station makes it a super simple place to stay if staying overnight if headed to or from Copenhagen airport. Keep in mind during the week that breakfast is served from 0630, I missed it due to a train at 0642, my fault for not planning to enjoy the breakfast. Otherwise a great, simple stay.

Great place to stay in downtown Malmo! Thanks alot to clerk Michael who brought us cold drinks and showed high level of professionalism! Hotel is located just by the main transportation lines, and just one minute walk to downtown and beautiful docks!

Yelp
The rooms aren't fantastic but the front desk staff are friendly, the rooms cozy and comfortable and the location couldn't be any better, especially for travelers coming in or leaving for Copenhagen. I left the hotel and 35 minutes later was pulling into the airport station in Copenhagen. I think for the price and location, this hotel is a keeper. I might stay here next time!

Yelp
The Elite Hotel Residens is one of three properties in the Elite chain in Malmo. I usually stay at the Elite Plaza but now was able to get such a good rate at the Residens so decided to try it. The hotel has an excellent location, minutes away from the central station and very close to the city center. Despite its central location it is still quiet as it faces a small road. The hotel lobby has a nice feel to it and the atmosphere is relaxed. Check-in was very quick and no problems at all. A small plus is that they asked if I required internet access (codes are required and I tend to forget to ask for those and then have to go back to the front desk so always appreciated when they ask). The room was somewhat of a disappointment. It was fairly large but they still just put a very small and narrow bed in there. Would have been smarter to put a larger bed there. The furniture looked slightly dated and it would be nice if they modernized the room slightly. There is nothing wrong with any of it but it did feel like most of things had been there around 20 years or so. I was happy to see that they put water kettle and coffee/tea in the room but I was missing an iron and ironing board. Bathroom was perfectly fine, there is no bathtub but did not really bother me (shower worked fine). Breakfast was a disappointment, not at all same level as at the Elite Plaza. There was a selection of both hot and cold food but the quality was not very good and the range was much more limited than at the Elite Plaza. The hotel as such is perfectly fine and if they would improve the breakfast, modernize the rooms and put an iron and ironing board it would warrant a higher rating. Will consider staying here again if I find the same low rate I paid now but will otherwise stay at the Elite Plaza.

Yelp
This is a nice hotel. Affordable for it's location and clean. But the thing that really stands out to me is the staff. They were very attentive and treated me with kindness and respect. I came to Malmö for a concert but staying at this hotel is becoming the main event. And the sauna? 10 minutes in there and my back pain disappears. And finally, the wifi is great. I logged in when I first arrived. Every time I came back from going out I was automatically logged in. How convenient is that?

Yelp
It was a pretty dark, cold dank Friday night as we came out of the train station, having encountered two passport checks with the first on the platform before we could board the train at the airport and then on the train as we passed from Denmark into Sweden. All very pleasant but a bit of a surprise within Europe. The police photographed our passports using their mobile phones. As we walked to this quaint hotel which was five or six minutes away from the station there was a light mist of rain but what was odd was just how quiet and empty Malmo city was, with very few people and hardly any vehicles. It was a bit eerie. The hotel was cosy and warm and it's located beside a canal and just on the edge of the city centre. Check in was quite quick. Our room had a wooden floor with the heaviest front door which opened out. I was wearing leather shoes so I found the wooden floor dangerously slippy. The room was comfortable and an alright size. It had tea and coffee facilities and to my delight there was a bidet in the smallish bathroom. There were 19 of us so once settled in and unpacked we all met in the hotel bar for a few beers before we went out to the local pubs and charged the beers to the room. Again there were very few people about the hotel and it was very quiet. I think we encountered two other guests the entire time we sat in the hotel bar. Everything was very convivial. We found a cash machine at the rear of the hotel which was convenient having arrived without any of the local currency. The hotel breakfast is one of the best I've enjoyed in recent years but the coffee could be improved. We were really impressed as it came in around £50 for two including breakfast. Malmo is fine for a two night city break but I couldn't imagine spending any longer here. .
