Elite Plaza Hotel, Malmö

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. I would rate it more or less 3.5 Star, it gives me the doubt it is not entirely 4 but it is more than a 3. Staff is very kind and helpfull. I stayed at a room which you had to take 2 elevators for, after a few minutes I know the long way but no big deal. I had the deluxe double room, the size of the room was very good you could move around with plenty of space. The room overal was good, nice bathroom, king size bed, good tv, fridge... Although the room was a little bit smelly as it was an older room it did smell. I tried to open windows for some fresh air but this was not possible so had to stay in the smelly room. The mattress of the bed seemed also pretty old I could feel the springs from the mattress. The room was also pretty dark at one side as there were no good lights in the room. I had a room with breakfast, but this dissapointed me a but. Every day exactly the same and not that much of a choice. The location was great, perfect in the center of Malmo with a lot of restaurants and shops nearby. I would recommend the Bisschop arms restaurant at the hotel Would I recommend the hotel? If you like an older hotel with all needed basics and maybe bit more yes! If you prefer a fancy new modern hotel with a royal breakfast no.

Very lovely hotel in the centre of Malmo. Beautiful lobby, wonderful rooms with a large bathroom, tea & coffee facilities. Friendly, helpful and attentive staff who couldn't do enough for us.|Breakfast was nice but a little different to British Isles type breakfast with a different range of items. Could have done with more fresh fruit salad and crispy bacon or omlettes.||I would recommend it for people visiting Malmo or in Malmo on business. I didn't like Malmo. No particular reason other than there were many nicer places in Scandinavia.||Very nice pub attached to the hotel which could make life easy for visitors who are tired.

So where do I begin? The hotel location is excellent - within the old town and is surrounded by restaurants and shops. It is also ideal to walk to all attractions and even the station. We were given two quiet rooms in the 5th floor which was great. The rooms are airy, spacious enough, with great airconditioning and most importantly a comfortable bed. The front desk staff are friendly and immediately address any requests. ||Breakfast is very good, varied and helps make a nice start. That said, the one thing that is missing is the provision of an espresso/cappuccino machine and it would help the experience go from good to great. ||We tried the next door Bishops Arms as part of the staycation package and we were impressed by the food quality. ||Thank you Elite for providing us with a great stay. This is my third time at this hotel, but unfortunately it was the worst compared to the previous ones. I booked the Deluxe room, which is more expensive, but it was actually smaller than the standard one. On top of that, the bathroom was not clean at all. Other than that, everything else was fine.”

Nice hotel in the city center. Nothing was missing, and everything was clean and tidy. There was a delicious breakfast and access to a gym.

Nice hotel, decent rooms, central location, friendly staff, and my god.. the best hotel gym I've ever seen. All the equipment you could ask for, clean and spacious. Completely empty in the middle of the day, they even have classes in the morning and evening. Come for the hotel, stay for the gym 💪

The hotel location is great, very close to main shops, restaurants and a number of transport links. There are bus stops right outside the hotel and the train station is a 10 minute walk away. The staff were very welcoming throughout my stay. The room was ok but felt dated and could have been cleaner. Some of the pillow covers had stains and the duvet, which was hanging out the bottom of the sheet, was discoloured and old. There was no light in the main part of the room above the bed so it was very dark and gloomy in the evenings.

My go to hotel when in business in Malmö.|Very central at Gustav Adolfs torg, 5 min walk from trainstation or airport coach that stops in Triangeln or the station.||Nice rooms , clean and works fine for a short or long stay.||Good breakfast and the gym is OK for a simple workout.||Front desk is always happy to help and go the extra mile, that's what keeps me coming back.

The Elite Plaza in Malmo is located in the middle of the city (a few minutes walk from either the station 'Triangeln' or the central station). The location is as good as it gets in Malmo and you will have many shops and restaurants right outside the door of the hotel. The hotel opened last fall (September or August 2010) and it is of course still very nice. Have stayed here several times and service has always been pleasant and quick. The rooms are nice, most of them are not that big but still sufficient. There is free wifi throughout the hotel and the rooms also have coffee/tea making facilities, safe, LCD TV, iron and ironing board. There is also an umbrella in each room. Beds are comfortable and in every room I have stayed in there has also been a decent-sized desk and a comfortable chair. I do appreciate the fact that the hotel offers a good selection of TV channels (there are a few movie channels as well as sports channels). The hotel also has a very nice gym (not that many machines but they are top-notch). Breakfast has also been well-above average with a good selection of both hot and cold food. The bar/restaurant connected to the hotel (Bishop's arms) is also a very nice place. Good selection of beer and the food is also rather ok.

A very clean, modern business hotel. Rooms are ok, even large compared to the price. Location is very good in city center. The breakfast us in a very big room that has somehow the atmosphere of a train station arrival hall. It has the usual Swedish quality. Looking at the location it is really quite in the rooms. There is a nice bar on ground level, always good for a proper beer.
