What a hidden gem, this place was amazing! Our room was comfortable and spacious, we particularly liked the patio outside our room. The location was perfect as we walked everywhere and found so many amazing spots nearby. Highly recommend this place for a stay in Key West.

Great location and property! Dwight was awesome! From check in to check out he was friendly and professional and helpful. Dwight is a real asset. Alex was also there and was awesome too! These gentlemen are awesome and made for a wonderful experience. Amazing room!!

Dwight, our concierge for the weekend made us feel right at home and made sure we were all taken care of through out our stay during Labor Day weekend. Very friendly staff overall and the suite was clean, spacious, and of course Dwight put us right next to the pool! The hotel had parking and since Duval Street js so close we didn’t have to use our car all weekend. We plan on coming back and staying here before the end of the year! I highly recommend staying here.

Quiet location, beautiful room, with large bathroom which my wife loved, nice breakfast baskets delivered every morning. Just a block over from Duval Street, so it was walkable everywhere you want to go. On the same street was Better Than Sex dessert bar, which was amazing too. The staff here was friendly and accommodating.

Our first time staying here and certainly not our last. We decided before we left that we would return. Dwight and the front desk staff made us feel welcome and continued to interact with us and make us smile during our entire stay. Beautiful deck area, small intimate pool, loungers, and umbrellas surrounded by a beautifully maintained garden really made Ella's Cottages fill like a little piece of paradise. Location was just as described and very walkable. The morning hand delivered breakfast in a basket with juices, immunity shots, baked goods and cheeses (so much more too!) was hands down the best "breakfast included" ever! Thank you for a most memorable stay! James and Marcelina and Family

We found some of the staff to be unwelcoming and unfriendly. Breakfast was delivered in a thoughtful basket, to the room. However, the contents were disappointing. The croissant was bite-sized and the rest of the contents were uninspiring. We were promised "Ella's sunshine baskets, yoga mats, filtered water, coffee & tea, Two Chicks welcome cocktails and Merlin's afternoon tea. We didn't see or get offered any cocktails, the water jug was always virtually empty. None of us could get the tea/coffee machine to work at all, and there were only a couple of flavoured teas on offer. The afternoon tea consisted of some packs of biscuits, apples and oranges. The coffee/tea machine was still not working. Half way through the night, our air-con stopped working (room 5) and we had a very uncomfortable night from then on. Our stay was definitely not worth the £405.00 price tag for two rooms for one night!

Like every hotel/B&B, Ella's Cottages has its pluses and minuses. The pluses: The hotel staff is great, especially the manager. He was very welcoming. The property was beautifully maintained. The location was perfect. The breakfast basket was terrific. ||The minuses: The A/C unit was near the floor so it was perpetually warm in the room. There wasn't any way for the air to travel upward. The room was tiny with the bed taking up most of the room. The television was mounted but my husband kept running into it. I usually don't bring my hair dryer but I will from now on. The room dryer had some sort of sticky mung on it. There were a couple of roaches in the room but it's Florida and they're everywhere.||It's a fairly nice place but there's room for improvement, especially for the price.

Just came back from my stay at Ella’s Cottages and I LOVED it!! The location is great, 1 block from Duval St, yet you don’t have the noise. The breakfast baskets every morning were super cute and very filling, having everything from tea and coffee to bagels, pastries, yogurt, etc. The pool area is very cozy and set up super cute, a great place to relax and read. Tea time is at 3pm where they serve tea and cookies, which I thought was a very cute extra. Staff was very nice and the lobby always smelled wonderful! Definitely recommend to everyone and will stay there again!!
