Ella's Cottages - Key West Historic Inns

It was our 25th wedding anniversary and it couldn't have been more special. Dwight at the front desk was amazing and made sure that all of the details That go into excellent customer service and hospitality. We're taking care of! He always greeted us with a smile and hello and made sure that we were comfortable and had everything that we needed. The grounds were very relaxing and nicely kept. The cottage we stayed in was phenomenal in the bed was very comfortable as well as the pillows. A very spacious room that was private. Everything was within walking distance. We will definitely be back to stay here. Jackie was great to work with as well as Jennifer because he Rez who helped us plan activities.

This boutique property is absolutely beautiful and the staff is knowledgeable, helpful and genuinely friendly! It’s off Duvall street so while it’s close to everything, it’s quiet and peaceful. The basket breakfasts are incredible, and the personal touch of the staff coming by and dropping them off to you, is very special. And, the staff remembers everyone’s names. It’s a personable experience! We will never stay anywhere else again in Key West. ||The staff-Dwight, Michael, Lynn and Josie made our stay extra memorable! Highly recommend getting a suite. We had a beautiful big room (suite) but we did see that there were some much smaller rooms that were lovely but wouldn’t have been our choice. ||Stay here!!! You’ll thank me.

I stayed here with a friend and had a wonderful time. Our room was a suite and the beds were so comfortable. Breakfast basket given to us every morning was delightful. Sitting by the pool was glorious and tea time after 3pm included 2 Chicks beverages. Shout out to the fabulous staff especially Dwight, the cleaning attendants, and Michael. I stayed an extra week and I did not want to leave. These cottages are only 3 blocks from the main street so we could walk everywhere! And they just got sweet looking bikes to rent. Just an ideal, idyllic accomodations!

Wonderful place to stay while in Key West. The cottages are charming - we had a separate living room and bedroom with two different outdoor sitting areas. A light breakfast is brought to your room in a basket, which is a great way to start the day. Pool and surrounding area are very nice, and happy hour is a nice touch. Dwight took such good care of us and always greeted us with a smile - couldn’t ask for better service. Location is perfect to walk or bike to Duval.

Great location! Room and grounds were beautifully maintained and clean! Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The breakfast each day was wonderful. It was a great experience and recommend it wholeheartedly. Great job everyone! I will make another reservation when I visit Key West again.

I had an amazing stay at Ella’s Cottages in Key West! Jossie and Dwight were absolutely fantastic—super friendly and welcoming. They made my birthday extra special, which meant a lot. The property is beautiful and well-kept. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and the AC was perfect for the Florida heat. I loved the little extras like the welcome drink and free breakfast every morning. The pool was a great spot to relax. The location is excellent, just a short walk to Duval Street, and they have parking available, which is a big plus in Key West. Highly recommend staying here for a warm, inviting experience!

Ella’s Cottages is a small hotel in a historic property one block off Duval. The hotel has off street parking which is a must in Key West. It is also pet friendly which is important to us because we travel with our dog. The grounds are lovely and lush with plenty of outdoor lounge space. The pool is small but was heated to a comfortable temp as it was chillier than usual during our stay. The rooms are small but comfortable and ours had a nice sized porch with sofa where we spent most of our time. Breakfast was delivered every morning on time in an adorable basket that included coffee, little warm egg bites, yogurt, fruit, bagels and pastries. It was a highlight! We even got visits from Key West roosters. Staff was incredible! So warm, kind and accommodating they made our whole trip. I highly recommend!

My boyfriend and I stayed at Ella’s cottages for 5 nights this past week. We just want to thank Victoria and Michael. Victoria was so kind and recommended so many activities. We ate at the Hot Tin roof on Christmas which had the best food. We also went snorkeling, which was my favorite activity we did. She took time out of her day to talk to us and make us feel welcomed. Michael was great. He took such good care of us and always had us laughing. You don’t find people like them much in the hotel business. We highly recommend Ella’s Cottages and because of them, next time we visit we will 100% be staying here again!
