Ella's Cottages - Key West Historic Inns

Great location centrally located in Old Town Key West with a bus stop right outside the entry. Pool was on the smaller side however having access to the other pools inside the resort group was a nice to have- Winslow has a bar nearby their pool. Dwight and the service team was spot on and always friendly to interact with. There were a few cosmetic issues with the rooms and not having A/C in the living room made it important to keep bedroom doors open to condition the space. Overall, great time while in Key West and would recommend to others in a heartbeat.

The cottages are beautifully kept. The grounds are so pretty & very relaxing. The room we chose was very small. We would choose a larger room on our next visit. Something to think about when you decide to stay. The room overall was very cute & was clean. We were served a breakfast basket to our room each morning. It had a very good selection. The bagels were even warm. There was also afternoon iced tea & goodies offered to the guests. We would stay here again. 😊

Like every hotel/B&B, Ella's Cottages has its pluses and minuses. The pluses: The hotel staff is great, especially the manager. He was very welcoming. The property was beautifully maintained. The location was perfect. The breakfast basket was terrific. ||The minuses: The A/C unit was near the floor so it was perpetually warm in the room. There wasn't any way for the air to travel upward. The room was tiny with the bed taking up most of the room. The television was mounted but my husband kept running into it. I usually don't bring my hair dryer but I will from now on. The room dryer had some sort of sticky mung on it. There were a couple of roaches in the room but it's Florida and they're everywhere.||It's a fairly nice place but there's room for improvement, especially for the price.

Dwight was so kind and made our initial day so memorable. The entire stay was beautiful and the room was just as described. The location is SUPERIOR and is everything you want for your stay! Also the breakfast delivered to your door is the perfect touch. Can’t wait to return in the future!

The Ella Cottages are absolutely gorgeous! Dwight was hands down the highlight of our stay! He is so kind, personable, and made the experience so magical for us! We wish we could hire him to work for our company! Haha Y’all are very lucky to have him on your team. The grounds are beautiful, rooms are so cute, and the breakfast was the best touch!

An absolutely wonderful time at Ella's Cottages! The room was clean, beautiful, and spacious; the staff was kind and welcoming; the pool was relaxing and never busy. The fresh breakfast in a basket was a joy. We'll definitely visit again -- thank you!

Cute little room with sweet small touches like the welcome drink and tea time, breakfast baskets. Nice staff, easy parking, nice room, comfortable bed and warm shower! Close enough to the mix without being in the mix. Easy to walk to lots of places - Mallory Square, Fort Taylor, Southernmost Point, and Duval St! Nice to see the same staff over multiple days for familiar faces! Loved the “inn-clusive” options for the pool specifically and food/drink discounts at other Inns. I would stay here again for sure!

Just came back from my stay at Ella’s Cottages and I LOVED it!! The location is great, 1 block from Duval St, yet you don’t have the noise. The breakfast baskets every morning were super cute and very filling, having everything from tea and coffee to bagels, pastries, yogurt, etc. The pool area is very cozy and set up super cute, a great place to relax and read. Tea time is at 3pm where they serve tea and cookies, which I thought was a very cute extra. Staff was very nice and the lobby always smelled wonderful! Definitely recommend to everyone and will stay there again!!
