Wonderful experience! we annoyingly came upon their factory and got invited to watch them. Create some glass pieces… Only five euro entrance fee. It was well worth the price and the art galleries were amazing.! The company has been in business for 600 years and Nicola was the perfect salesman, giving us time to look around with personal attention but no rush… 10 out of 10 rewrite this as a 10 out of 10!😘

By a happy coincidence trying to figure out what water bus to take to Murano we ran into a local who helped us. As it turned out he was Frabrizio the owner of Ellegi Murano Glass. He gave us a personal tour and watched the masters and an apprentice creature beautiful pieces out of blocks of glass. If you are ever in Vience please go to Murano and visit Ellegi Glass. It is an amazing city and an extraordinary glass factory. Thank you Fabrizio for a wonderful tour.

We arrived by Venice Boat Tours with Matteo, also an amazing experience. Visiting Ellegi Murano Glass Factory was one of the highlights of our time in Venice. The glassblowing demonstration was a rare opportunity to witness centuries-old craftsmanship in action. I even got to participate and hold the wand, which was super special. The exclusive gallery showcased stunning, one-of-a-kind pieces, and the gift shop was beautifully curated with both classic and contemporary designs. Fabrizio and Elisa were helpful throughout the selection and shipping process. Fabrizio took time to explain the craftsmanship and history behind their work. I chose a stunning set of 6 Nason Moretti glasses in crystal and gold — a timeless and elegant keepsake from this unforgettable visit for me and my adult children to cherish. A perfect blend of old-world skill and modern presentation. Thank you Fabrizio, Elisa, and Ellegi for a wonderful memory for me and my children we won’t forget.

Yelp
We contacted Ellegi Glass a day before our visit to make the reservation. We saw how the beautiful glass decorations were created from the beginning to the finished product. The walk from the water bus station to Ellegi Glass is about 20 minutes. Beautiful scenery along the way next to the canals or waterfronts. I enjoyed the walks, and I took a lot of pictures. It is so beautiful! Ellegi Glass has a demonstration on site to show the visitors how their glass decorations are made. Very informative! They bring us to the showroom after the demonstration, and we can purchase the beautiful glass artwork. They're all head made and all one of a kind! The demonstration shows costs €5 per person. I think it is a great idea to visit the glass factory.

Yelp
We cane to Murano Island as part of a city tour. Ellegi Glass' glass making demonstration was part of our tour. I was very glad that it was in English. I have seen this process before at Disney, but seeing glass made in Murano is a while other story. First of all, the process is so fascinating. I have the deepest admiration for glass masters. According to our narrator, these people don't go to school to learn the craft, they learn from their parents, who learned from their parents. I learned a lot. The process was very well explained to us. Very informative demonstration.

Yelp
Ellegi Glass is one of several on the islands that make up Murano in Venice. We stopped here for a demonstration of their craft. Along the quay, there are many places where there's a person outside trying to convince people to enter to see their facilities. Since this was one of the first along our walk, we entered and paid a small fee for the demonstration that was about to begin. The gentleman who described what the workers were doing was multi-lingual and we got to see the craftsmen doing their magic. Two types of glass creating are shown. The first is what I call free form where the person takes some molten glass and uses tools to stretch and shape the glass. A worker brings additional heated glass which is added to the existing part and continues the forming of the entire piece. The other method is glass blowing. I think most people have seen video of that kind of making of glass. After the demonstration, we were shown to the sales area. Some of the glass was very nice and some was simply gaudy. This is a great stop for a brief demonstration of the art of glass making.
