Ellen Browning Scripps Park is such a peaceful and scenic spot by the ocean. The views are stunning, and you can often see sea lions resting nearby. It’s clean, relaxing, and perfect for families or couples to enjoy the view. My niece loves to come here so much.

Ellen Browning Scripps Park in San Diego is a beautiful coastal park located along the shores of La Jolla, overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Named after philanthropist Ellen Browning Scripps, who contributed greatly to the city’s development, the park is known for its sweeping ocean views, grassy lawns, and vibrant marine life visible from the nearby cliffs. Visitors often gather here to watch sea lions at the famous La Jolla Cove, enjoy picnics, or simply relax under the shade of tall palm trees. With its combination of natural beauty, walking paths, and proximity to beaches and tide pools, Ellen Browning Scripps Park is one of San Diego’s most scenic and beloved seaside spots.

Definitely a must see if you are in the San Diego area! I was not expecting to see the sea lions out playing around, but it was a nice surprise! The water is very clear for snorkeling or other water activities. The park is nice even though there are larger groups of people. I would definitely recommend for a thing to see around San Diego.

The panoramic views here are absolutely breathtaking. Getting to see the sea lions that were literally everywhere, however stinky they may be, were still so beautiful & amazing. The park has an area where people were swimming in a cove with some of the prettiest blue/green water and even sea lions were swimming right with everyone, very close I might add! The walk thru the park was clean and very nice views.

Saw some baby seagulls! They were SO CUTE and FLUFFY!!! Sea lions were a CA sight to see as usual! Saw an interesting tree as well! If anyone knows what it is please let me know 🤣 Baby Seagulls are the 2 last images. Bathrooms were clean and well kept. Not too long of a wait either!

The place is beautiful. Parking is very challenging, so be patient. The views are amazing and it's very clean. There are plenty of restrooms and showers. I do recommend to bring tennis shoes, specially if you are planning to go on the sea wall, the ground is very uneven.

This San Diego park at the beach offers a truly stunning backdrop for a marriage proposal. With scenic pathways, beautiful landscaping, and sweeping ocean views, it’s a location that guarantees beautiful and timeless memories. I've had the pleasure of capturing many special moments here, including a proposal for a well-known quarterback. If you're planning to pop the question in this perfect spot!

Absolutely beautiful park right by the ocean. Perfect place to walk, relax, or just enjoy the views of the cliffs and water. Great spot for families, couples, or even a solo stroll. The area is clean, peaceful, and has some of the best scenery in La Jolla. A must-visit if you’re nearby!
