My friends and I love hosting socials at tea houses, and this one was one of our favorites:)
It's so cozy and cute, and we loved how we got the entire room/cottage to ourselves... so, if you're also looking for intimacy and/or privacy... then this is the place for you.
(The tea and food options were also yummy:)
However, staying over night at the inn was a whole other story.
The woman in charge seemed highly stressed and overwhelmed the entire time we were there; and we felt like a burden, even when asking her for the smallest of things (such as, needing help with items of theirs that malfunctioned... in turn, we ultimately decided to just go without).
We also felt pressured to leave another tip on top of an 18%-20% gratuity, which, as you can imagine, made us feel very uncomfortable.
It's such a shame, and truly disheartening, as we paid a lot of money to sleep there for the night, and were excited to do so, yet, we didn't exactly enjoy our stay there:(
Maybe we came on a bad night? At least, I'm hoping that was the case, because I would love to give this place a 5 star rating/review someday.
(Having said that, the inn was very historically charming... and their French toast was some of the best French toast I've ever had!)
