Ellipsis

Dimly lit, beautifully planned and artistically designed, it was love at first sight for me. If you're looking to treat your significant other or just yourself to a soothing evening then this is it. To begin with, the quality of food served is excellent and the chef puts in a lot of time and effort to create the most palatable dishes. The staff is extremely courteous and guide you through the selections. I'd highly recommend experimenting because this place has set a high standard for the quality of food served. However, the options for vegetarians is fairly limited and I would recommend the flatbreads (they constantly change the toppings) and gnocchi. Rocky road is what I usually get for dessert simply because it is heaven, aesthetically presented on a plate. As the bill arrives, you do find yourself on a rocky road as it is priced on the higher side. Overall, I'd urge you to try this place at least once because it's the entire experience that leaves you feeling content.

If you like Tapas brunch on a Sunday then Ellipsis is the place to be.

The food at ellipsis in incredibly hit and miss. Some of it, like the waffles with berries and the mushroom truffle dumplings are so good you'd go back and order them again and again. But some dishes are just bland and way below expectation. People rave about their desserts, but I personally find them over-hyped. They are beautiful to look at, but that is all - The lime pie I had tasted eggy, eggy and eggy. The service is really good (they let me return the lime pie), but the prices are ridiculously expensive. Try and go on Mondays when the menu is half-off.

The ambience is very nice. It has two levels as you enter - Upper level and Lower Level. The food is pretty good and is famous for its bar. Drinks are served at the bar area in lower level. It has a front door and back exit for emergency and late night party exits for nocturnals.

Extremely disappointed by Ellipses! Was served stale snapper, along with chicken sliders which seemed like a tacky version of a sloppy joe. When we tried to send the snapper back, the manager was extremely rude and uncooperative. The italian dishes such as Fettuccine and Risotto were Indianized and besides that the food was highly average! Even though the presentation was good.

It is rather pricey for very little. Just a drink each for six of us cost almost 6 grand. We had to stand at the bar and have our drinks, even though there was plenty of seating around. It was rather disappointing when they declined to accept our 'Coup Card' (which gives you a 15% discount at their restaurant) saying it was an event night.

Ellipsis offers a fantastic ambience combined with an interesting menu and good service. However, in recent times, the quality of food has sadly declined while the prices have continued going up.

I definitely loved the ambience. But if you are a pure vegetarian I would suggest you not to go to this place to eat. Very very limited dishes. Just 3 to 4 of them.
