"Elm & Iron, Over The Rhine. Vintage charm meets industrial cool at home décor store Elm & Iron. While it's not the first in the state (that's in Columbus, Ohio), locals were quick to embrace its eclectic collection of home goods, so quick that owner Dan McClurg opened a second store down the street focusing more exclusively on furniture, with three stories of tables, seating and more."

Absolutely adore this place! So many one-of-a-kind options, with a huge array of goods. Tons of local items, but so many unique home goods. I purchased three of their animal prints- Two English Bulldogs, one dressed as Winston Churchill and the other as The Godfather, and a Siamese cat dressed as Amy Winehouse (picture below). They had dozens of different options. Something new every time I come in.

Great place to get unique pieces furniture and accessories. Especially great for those who like industrial design look. They always have new items in the store which makes it fun to pop into on a fairly regular basis. It is great to have a store like this in Cincinnati and even better to have it located in the heart of OTR. If you're looking to spruce up your home or a great gift for somebody else this is a store you must visit.

Prices are higher than say, Ikea, but the quality is much higher and they have items that are vintage and home furnishings that are specific to Cincinnati/Ohio that make for great gifts or finishing touches. I went into both stores looking for furniture and had a hard time chasing down employees to get info or buy the item/s, and I was never greeted or asked if I needed any assistance. This may have been due to lack of personnel (in the smaller store, there was only one employee the entire hour that I was there) or they were engrossed in other tasks, customers or personal conversations. When I did approach employees, however, they were friendly and helpful. Overall, you can find some high-quality, unique pieces although getting information and completing the purchase may take some patience.

This is my favorite place to shop for home goods in Cincinnati. They have many incredible pieces at various price points so there are gems to find for everyone. The staff is helpful and they send out coupons if you sign up for their points program. They will send you text when you have rewards or coupons without bombarding your inbox which is always a good thing. Certainly recommend you check them out.

I really like the furniture they sell here, it is all high quality and stylish. I bought a chair and couch for my living room that are both incredibly comfortable. They can get you the antique look and quality, but in new pieces. They deliver as well, every other Friday they do delivery runs.

What a charming find! Both stores on Vine Street, Over-the Rhine, are a delight to visit. I hadn't known about these stores until a passerby told us about them. Their home décor is creative and entertaining. What a gift to Cincinnati to have these stores! They are beautiful and imaginative. My friend and I LOVED visiting!

This is a cool store. If you’re looking for vintage stuff to decorate your home, then this is the place for you. The only drawback is some of the stuff is a little too expensive. Just be a choosey shopper and I’m sure you’ll find stuff to give your home that vintage look.
