What an amazingly cool place with just some brilliant antique-type repurposed items. I cannot afford anything in there (not to say things are unreasonably priced - for what it all is, it is reasonable, but not cheap), but it was amazing stuff and have me great inspiration for my own builds.

What a great store full of unique items for your home. A lot of great ideas for the home from the displays which are really at that dream home level. The staff was very friendly and made the experience even better. I really hate to shop but I cannot wait to go back to this store!

I visited Elm and Iron Clintonville, 3475 N. High St. in the "Clintonville" neighborhood of Columbus, on 11-24-2023. I have often walked past there while on my way somewhere else; I decided to actually visit there on the day after Thanksgiving. Elm and Iron Clintonville sells high-end home furnishings, accessories, and décor. They have been at their Clintonville location since 2012; they now also have a location at Easton Town Center and a warehouse [open Monday-Friday by appointment only] in Grandview. I had been greatly impressed by the quality of the merchandise that is for sale at Elm and Iron and the high-quality way in which that merchandise is displayed. I had visited there at dusk; the several photographs that I had taken while I had been there had been quite dramatic because of the quality of the light that had been coming in through the windows. The building in which Elm and Iron is housed had been built in 1929 to be a new location for a business in downtown Columbus whose main purpose had been to sell automobile tires. The Clintonville location of that business, according to a 1929 article in The Columbus Dispatch, offered complete motor car service. It is obvious, when looking at the architectural style of the Elm and Iron building, that that building had been constructed for a business whose main purpose would be to repair cars. If you are looking for some high-end home furnishings, accessories, and décor, I strongly recommend Elm and Iron.

I arrived on a Tuesday, when the shop is typically closed (I didn't read carefully enough!) hoping to do some last minute Christmas shopping. A very kind worker came out to my car and invited me in to shop anyway, as several workers were at the shop preparing new inventory. I was so surprised at his kindness and ended up finding a great gift for my mom. Thank you for such great customer service when it would have been easy to just keep the door locked!! This will continue to be one of my favorite stores.

The quality and variety of their selection is great, but most of the prices they want for their inventory is too much to feel good about paying for. I've gotten some pretty cool & unique staples and conversation pieces for my house but there's so much more that I would get if it were just a little bit less expensive. I also love how much they switch out their inventory. I feel like I could go there once a week and always find something new.

What a lovely and unique store, filled with artfully arranged and enticing accessories for the home. Better than the chain stores because it's locally owned by people with exquisite taste. Fun throw pillows, vintage lamps and gewgaws, rustic but elegant furniture and one of a kind items makes this store a treasure.
