This is a beautiful place to go for a nice walk at whatever pace you decide on. There are plenty of places to look into the gorge, and the view is amazing, especially on a sunny summer day. We ran into lots of friendly people to talk to, and we even got to play with some dogs 🐕 so bonus. The trail 👣 even in the woods, is perfect and makes a perfect entrance before you get to see the Gorge. I would definitely recommend this spot to anyone 💯. We'll be back again for the tubing next time!

Really liked this place. Get lost in the sound of the water, cute and well maintained short trail, clean parking and picnic areas (both open and secluded). Loved every bit of time spent. Cons: too much is charged for entry!!!

Lovely hike here in Elora. We hiked all the way from the town into the Gorge through Bissell Park. It was beautiful and very well shaded. We took the bridge past the tubers to get from one side to the other and it made for a nice long walk. Just a note, you can't get back to the town via walking (at least not easily) from the east side of the Gorge. We ended up double backing and having a long 9km hike. Worth it!

Nice Place! We as a family walked for a couple of hours, it was quite enjoying. Admission is chargeable but walking on the trail (shaded) Washrooms and water facilities: They have washrooms in various locations that have sinks and running water. Picnic areas: They have picnic tables for you to bring a lunch. Activities along the river: You can pay to go tubing. I. Wheelchair accessibility: A big Noooo The trails are not wheelchair accessible. The paths have a lot of roots and there are some rocky.

The Elora Gorge Conservation Area is a stunning natural attraction that offers a variety of outdoor activities for visitors to enjoy. With its towering cliffs, lush forests, and cascading waterfalls, the gorge provides a breathtaking backdrop for hiking, camping, fishing, and swimming. The park also features several historic sites, including the ruins of a 19th-century mill and a suspension bridge that offers panoramic views of the gorge. Whether you're looking for a relaxing day in nature or an adrenaline-pumping adventure, the Elora Gorge Conservation Area has something for everyone. #Elora #Ontario #Canada

Great Place! We walked for a couple of hours, and we could have done more. Parking is free, but you have to pay for admission. There is a splash pad. The trails are almost entirely in the shade. Washrooms: They have washrooms in various locations that have sinks and running water. Some of the toilets are broken. Picnic areas: They have picnic tables for you to bring a lunch. Activities along the river: You can pay to go tubing. I saw some people kayaking along the river. Price: As of 2024, it is over $7 per adult & over $3 per child + tax to just walk the trail. See my pic. History: See my pics to read about the history of this area. Wheelchair accessibility: The trails are not wheelchair accessible. The paths have a lot of roots and there are some rocky areas (see my pics) that would be extremely difficult for a stroller to get through. There are also some stairs only sections.

This location is satisfactory and is recommended for a single visit with your family. There are limited parking spots available. The lookout provides a breathtaking view from a high vantage point. It can be slippery during icy winter days, but the railings are helpful, particularly in winter conditions. Some individuals were seen engaging in ice climbing on the sides. It could be a suitable spot for a picnic. Additionally, it is conveniently located near downtown Elora. If you are visiting Elora, be sure not to overlook this place.

It was Mosquitos free camping area, quite near to GTA, around 1 hour drive. Stars in night sky were beautiful. Although we had to walk little more than expectation yet tubing was fun. One can easily do couple of times in a single visit, advance booking is recommended
