This is a wonderful hotel, fantastic views over the bay of Elounda with Spinalonga Island in the distance. On this visit we stayed in a studio apartment. We had our own patio area with seating and sun beds to relax on and look at the beautiful views. The air conditioned studio was traditionally furnished and our bed very comfortable. ||The staff at Elounda Heights are brilliant, always smiling and helpful. We particularly loved the evening meal specials served in the outdoor covered restaurant, all evening meals were expertly prepared by Vangelis and his team, worth a Michelin star in our opinion. For the perfect wine accompaniment Kostas was on hand to advertise from the excellent wine list. ||The pool area has its own pool bar, meals and drinks prepared by Clio who is brilliant. There are enough sun beds around the pool for all guests, no need to get to the pool early to reserve your spot. ||There is so much to see and do around the Elounda area, lovely villages, sandy beeches and drives into the mountains. We loved it so much we have booked for 2025.

We originally booked 3 nights but the stay was that good we extended it to 5.|Set upon a hill overlooking the sea and with Spinalonga in the distance this is such a beautiful location. Prior to our arrival we were sent a very short video on how to find it easily. |The room was spacious, very clean and well equipped including a safe for valuables, passports etc. There is a clean and well maintained pool overlooking the sea with plenty of loungers and umbrellas. The poolside is where breakfast is served with a fine array of delights on offer such as mini savouries and cakes (all freshly baked on site each morning) served alongside a basket of delicious bread (also baked fresh daily on site) and two different types of stunning jams ... you guessed it ... also made on site as well alongside tea, fresh coffee and freshly pressed OJ. There is a great selection of the main breakfast items as well, all made fresh to order. The service from Dimitra was exceptional who was alert, attentive and always smiling to all guests ... then she came back and did it all again in the evening where the menu is served outside and is also cooked by the hotel owner himself ... all freshly prepared upon ordering. The location is great, just a short stroll down the hill into the town. There's free parking on site and the hotel has a library with several books to choose from, a pool table and a small but well equipped gym to use. Everyone from the housekeeping team, catering and reception staff and Vangelis, the owner, were super polite and friendly. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. We didn't book this intentionally as it was an adult only hotel however it made a pleasant difference having no children around and we will definitely return here if/when we return to Crete.

Kostas, Natalia and the whole staff were incredible. It was our first stop on our Honeymoon. What a start! The restaurant was so good. They proposed a Wine degustation tasting, advice for visiting. Kostas even gave us recommendations for restaurants for other places around the island. It's truly worth it.

We looked for hours to find the perfect accommodation to stay in when visiting the north/ east side of Crete. Elounda Heights is a fabulous choice! |Visually stunning, with villas/ studios that all have a sea view, the hotel is gorgeous with gardens and places to relax tucked away every where you turn!|From our first email interaction with Ritzsa, to our last morning at breakfast, this adults only hotel was truly special! Every staff member we met was warm, gracious, kind and ready to help. The views were stunning…every mornings sunrise was a gift..being high up as the hotel is situated, one could just stand in a different garden and be mesmerized.|The breakfasts were served every morning by the pool, and the choices were lovely and generous. If you decide to eat dinner at their outdoor restaurant, you will love the view and the delicious meals prepared by their chef and served by a hardworking staff.|Our studio was perfect, very comfortable bed and pillows with an outside balcony for relaxing. Also a clothesline to hang your clothes…brilliant! Plenty of hot water, and spotlessly clean and cleaned by a sweet cleaning crew.|The entire Hotel staff just felt like a wonderful family…and we were treated like royalty!|If we should be blessed to return to Crete in the future, we will ALWAYS chose Elounda Heights Hotel! Many thanks to everyone who made our staff so special!

We arrived at Elounda Heights after a long drive across Crete and were immediately welcomed to Elounda Heights! We had first visited Rethymno and then Paleochora. We loved everything about this place! The location up on a hill and the view is just beautiful and you can easily walk into Elounda! (We took a taxi back up the hill after dinner each night for 5 Euros) We arrived on a Thursday and joined the excellent wine tasting dinner. We were unfortunately there only 3 nights so we ate in town the other nights. The staff is amazing especially Cleo who helped me at the pool bar with anything I needed! Our room was so spacious, clean and just amazing! The view was spectacular! We truly wish we could have stayed longer. We are hoping to visit again, but the trip from the US is long!

Our annual visit to Elounda Heights was later this year, we normally visit in May. Thankfully everything was perfect as usual. Our studio was immaculate as ever. ||The breakfasts, all home made were delicious. We ate at Elounda Heights most evenings and as with all of our previous visits the food was exceptional.||A huge thank you to everyone for making our stay so relaxing and such fun, we loved it and cannot wait to be back next year.||Jules and Jane

This is a small hotel consisting of 19 units and caters to older adults.
It is located on the top of a tall hill and is a six minute walk to reach the town of Elounda .
The views are lovely and the quiet location with no traffic is conducive to becoming relaxed and restored. The units are sparkling clean and equipped with a small fridge and cutlery. The beds are provided with high thread linens and very excellent mattresses. The pillows are perfect and come in various softness for your comfort.
Breakfast has already been reviewed in previous posts but I need to emphasize that they are amazing. (One of the offerings is full English breakfast !!)
The staff in its entirety bends over backwards to accommodate the guests and this is so appreciated by them .
This hotel which is moderately price will suit the traveller looking for rest and relaxation.
The restaurants in the town of Elounda are amazing. We went to Poulos and the Ferryman and would recommend both. Opt for seafood dishes such as catch of the day which excellent.
Another thing to note is that evenings in Elounda are quite lovely with most couples dressed up in finery . It is not casual at night.
In summary this is a highly recommended hotel if it checks the boxes on your list.
The owners are highly detail oriented and strive their best to provide a great experience .
We were grateful to be here.

I stayed at Elounda Heights meeting a couple of friends who have returned there for many years. That probably speaks for itself! The hotel is small, welcoming and beautifully situated for views of the bay below. This also means that the access is by steep, but paved roads, and directions given are clear and explicit. The room was compact but had everything I needed - terrace, bathroom that didn't feel too small, and a kitchenette that was clean and unobtrusive. Also sofa & TV. Wifi was good enough for streaming, and plenty of point for charging including 2 USB A sockets. Best of all is the cuisine with daily specials from Vasilis, who made me an excellent vegetarian dish that was simply what I wanted. Even the Greek salad from the pool bar was perfect. Thanks to all at the hotel for a perfect 'minibreak'.
