Great apartments, we saw all the bad reviews about this place before we came so we was disappointed before we even arrived. It just goes to show that once you've tried it yourself you realise it's fussy people. The hotel is basic but a good basic. Has everything you need. They bring towels every 3 days of your stay and toilet roll. This place is located on a hill with the last stretch being very steep. There is a shuttle service available every hour 10am until 6 but we chose to walk, we got it down once and back once to the beachfront in town. We came down around 620pm and it had finished but the guy (with the glasses, my apologies for not knowing your name) still took us down. Great friendly helpful staff. We ate at the apartments a couple of times. The burgers are very good. We ordered starters and a main, the only thing I'd say was quite disappointing is that they all come out together. The pool is very good for kids. The slides, the sunbeds are always full but there's a pool up the top of the resort that's really quiet. They charged me 16.80 tax when I arrived which I wasn't aware of so bare that in mind, also there's a 50 euro holding fee for the room that gets returned once you check out. Everything based on the apartment was good. The transfer however through sunshine holidays was terrible. I booked an earlier flight, we landed at 3pm. We had to wait until 5pm for the shuttle to wait for our original flight, to be told its a 2 hour transfer. It took 3 hours 20. It picked us up at 4am and we wasn't flying back home until 940am. Hopefully we will return again in the near future. Thankyou guys

We had a good few days here in October as a disconnect holiday via Wowcher. We had booked a superior sea view room but we ended up being upgraded to the main block next to the pool area. Access to which was possible through a gate in the fence. Green soft AstroTurf everywhere which makes walking in bare feet very pleasant. The transfer from the airport drops & picks you up from down a hill which leaves you grateful for the hourly free minibus to & from the town between 1000 & 1800 (last bus back). This bus picks up & drops off just at the reception steps. Rooms are large (6 people with a pull out sofa in our case). Very well equipped for cooking, a cupboard door looked shabby though. Coffee machine & a 700 watt microwave. Matches for the gas hob. There's a lift but I don't know if a wheelchair could fit into it. Towels are freely exchanged everyday via a ticket system. Either you have a towel or a ticket. Plenty of sunbeds & pool seems nice & clean. Karaoke most evenings with room 01 being close enough to have the bass rattle the windows! Free WiFi, clean & well presented. Tourist tax is payable as is a €50 deposit against damages which was refunded promptly upon departure. Luggage room available & a card is given to you to use the bar area before the pickup.

We stayed here for 2 nights as part of a wowcher holiday, ignore the bad reviews as you get what you pay for here and we were very impressed with the cleanliness of this hotel! The staff were very kind and helpful and helped us organise taxis whenever we needed. We didn't use the pool as it wasn't the weather for it but it looks very good for kids. We didn't use the kitchen other than the microwave but there was a bottle opener in the room so we had everything we needed!! I would recommend this hotel to others and would come back here again! Breakfast buffet wasn't the best but it did the job and being far away from other bits it was easy!

Rooms are super basic but served their purpose, although we had NO AIR CON WHATSOEVER SO THE ROOM WAS ABSOLUTELY BOILING ALL WEEK TO THE POINT OUR CHILDREN DID NOT SLEEP THROUGH. They are very spacious though. Could do with an oven, not just gas hobs (supplied by a gas bottle under worktop). Did find lots of hairs in the bedding, but this was minor on the scale of things. Reception service no issues. Bar is lovely and modern, although prices are higher here, mainly due to the location as it is 20 minutes walk to the nearest other bar so you have to pay it, but the food is lovely, again slightly pricier than usual. Overall the food and drinks are great, fresh tasty food and no issues on the drinks either. The hotel/apartments are located at the top of a very steep hill that is not accessible via coach, our Jet2 coach dropped us off 2 streets away.. was difficult with a double pushchair with kids of course and X2 22kg cases, but we got there. Pool area is lovely and great for the kids! There is a smaller pool area (see photo) that was unused during our stay, but a larger and more accommodating pool area that we used near the bar area. Plenty of sun beds, but these go very fast! Very clean areas. Daily kids entertainment/club/activities on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday (non on Mon, Tue or weds), but this is super basic mind. Would stay here again but not with young children due to the steep hill. They do provide a free hourly shuttle mini-van that goes to the nearest supermarket and then to the main beach end. As I said, this is hourly and picks you up at the drop off points, it runs from 0830 until 2200.. but we only seen the van move a few times during our weeks stay. Overall a lovely little hotel, very quiet area due to being out of the way. Be wary of bar staff making up the prices.. 1st night we needed milk a got charged €5.20 for a carton of UHT milk!! The last night we needed it again and it was €3.00.

Just returned from a seven night stay. ||I’ll jump to the negatives as unfortunately, these outweighed the positives for us. ||Noise - terrible at night and we constantly had broken, disrupted sleep. We paid for premium sea view rooms which were directly above the restaurant. The hotel had a zero noise policy after 10pm but the music and noise went on until circa 11.30pm. Following this was noise of people returning to rooms, kids screaming, doors banging, bottle banks being emptied in the small hours. Walls are thin. ||The hotel has no double glazing and doors banging and clashing all day long. ||Cleaning - I was surprised that there was absolutely no cleaning throughout the week. We had to ask for changes over bedsheets and towels on day 4. The bathroom was in need of a clean after a few days and no products to help with this. Bin bags were left to replace the first but these were tiny and didn’t fit the kitchen bin. ||I found black hairs over the apartment and across the towels which did not come from our party. ||Staff - with the exception of the cleaners and one other staff member, staff at this hotel really could improve their customer service skills. Also, suggest the lifeguards should be watching the pool rather than having heads buried in their mobile phone. ||Room set up - following a day of travel, it was disappointing to find on another jet2 holiday that there was only one bed made up for four people, when you’ve booked nine months in advance and the party size is known, I’d expect this to be considered. It’s frustrating having to constantly share a bed with a child. ||Halloween evening was great entertainment wise, but the competition for children’s dressing up was unfairly biased on certain children in the resort. It was unfair to single out only three children for prizes when so many children had made an effort, some children were not even invited up on the stage.

We booked this on a whim on a Wowcher deal so this is my honest review for the hotel Els Llorers Apartments. We stayed for 5 Night in October 2025. ||LOCATION - We flew into Barcelona airport and the transfer took about 1 hour 30 minutes due to traffic once we arrived. Came back early hours in the morning so it took an hour, no traffic. The apartments themselves are located up a steep hill about a 10 minute drive or 25 minute walk down to the beach. The hotel provide a free shuttle service running every hour from 10am to 6pm. If you miss the last bus there is a taxi rank at the other end of the strip that charge 10 euros to get back to the hotel. ||ROOM - We were given room 105, the room itself was spacious and big enough for us with a nice size balcony. We didn't plan on eating in the room, which is a good job because the cooker had no dials on to be able to use it. No iron in the room I had to request one from reception. There is a note in the room that states that beds and towels are changed every 3 days. It was actually on the 4th day we got fresh bedding and clean towels. 2 of us for 5 days we were left with 2 loo rolls for those 4 days when I asked the cleaner for more she said 'ask reception'. Just ended up buying some. ||The biggest issue with this room was it was right outside the lift and the stairs to access the higher level apartments and people are not quiet after a night at the bar. The bedroom window is right outside where people were dragging suitcases down at all hours, having loud conversations and shouting. Right outside the window, every night so we didn't sleep much. ||POOL AREA - Seen the pool being cleaned once in 5 days. Multiple pools but we stayed around the 'main pool' easy to get a lounger lots of availability. Sun umbrellas are static so couldn't move them which isn't great. Pool area was very loud fake grass around the pool so if other peoples kids were running they didn't slip which was great. Kids pool seemed loads of fun for them. Life guard spent more time watching his phone than he did the pool...||STAFF - Receptionist at check in wasn't necessarily rude, it was just like she couldn't be bothered checking us in. No smile, no conversation very robotic. Every other member of staff were absolutely lovely!||FOOD & DRINK - We were self catering so didn't each much food in the hotel. To pay on the day for the buffet breakfast was 13.50 euro per person but we found a much better breakfast down on the front for 9.50 euro. The snacks we had around the pool during the day were nice but found it a little expensive, especially for the kids meals. Couple of cocktails of an evening, 10 Euro for a pitcher of cocktail and all local and imported spirits. ||ENTERTAINMENT - Wow... Kids mini disco every night for an hour was one poor man flinging his arms in the air, don't think he really knew 'the dances' that went with the music but the kids seemed to enjoy it. This was then followed by flamenco dancers, a singer and a magician. They weren't the best I am just going to say that... Customers who had been there longer than a week said they just rotated the entertainment so had basically seen everything twice. In the main pool bar they do have a TV with sporting events and the staff are accommodating enough to put on something if you ask them, for example 1 man watched a full F1 race whilst everyone else just sat bored, but he enjoyed it. ||On our last day there was a game of darts and water aerobics but in 5 days this was the only kind of daytime entertainment. ||FACILITIES - The Wi-Fi in the hotel was good, Netflix did not work and the TV was mostly Spanish channels, separate air con in both the living room and the bedroom. ||All together we had a nice time, we spent most of our time down the centre of Lloret De Mar. The hotel is not great for those after a quiet get away. We would go back to the area just not back to this hotel.

Room was big but dusty and blanket was all with other human hairs. I had included breakfast and dinner. In dinner time I had to pay if I wanted anything to drink even water. So if you get with food included be ready to pay for water. Food was very plain and no taste at all. Stuff was nice. No heaters in room so if you are in colder season it will be cold in room. It was raining one day and there was no where to dry cloths. It is you get what you pay for. :)
