Late Dec2024 Winery within the Four Season estate that features two tour options namely, wine tasting or a full tour of the winery and facility. Given that we visited during the winter where the pruning of the vines were just about to begin and a wet front was underway, we opted for a wine tasting session only. We did get to sample the latest harvests as well as get into a wonderful discussion concerning the history and culture of the Napa Valley wine industry. It was definitely a very informative and enjoyable afternoon spent with our wonderful wine expert Stanley. As a guest of the resort this experience is not to be missed and is best joined during other more favorable wine calendar seasons.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Elusa Winery and trying their wines. Our host, James, greeted us the door with a glass of Sauvignon Blanc to start the tour, and it only got better from there. We toured three different tasting rooms and saw all the unique artwork in each room (my favorite was a beautiful copper piece made out of firing a canon ball through the sheets of copper) We saw the fermentation room, walked the cave of barrels, and entered our tasting room in the middle of the cave. We tasted at a beautiful table surrounded by an industrial feel of wood and glass. Our tasting room was lit by 60 overhead Edison light bulbs. We had the privilege of trying the newly released 2022 Cabernet Franc and 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon. These were absolutely delicious wines, even young and right out of the bottle they were vibrant and amazing. Elusa was such a memorable experience and I highly recommend visiting for an experience and meeting James to hear his passion behind the winery and wines.

We recently attended Friday Happy Hour at Elusa and had such a great time! Good food options and fantastic wine! The space is beautiful and the staff is so welcoming and friendly. It is a great spot to hang out with friends on a Friday afternoon. We will definitely be back!

Google
Elusa, and their staff, are the epitome of incredible cusotmer service. Aside from the amazing customer service experience, I’d be remiss not to mention their incredible wine. My wife and I loved it so much that we recently became club members. We get so excited about our quarterly shipments. Highly recommended if you’re in Napa or want to enjoy the best Cab you’ve ever had

We had an incredible time at Elusa Winery. We did the Evolution of Elusa experience and I cannot recommend it enough. This was the highlight of our entire time in the Napa Valley. Our estate host Robert seriously went above and beyond for us. His knowledge of wine making, the industry, history of the surrounding area was unmatched. I am already planning another trip here and will be asking for Robert. We were driven through the vineyards, we were able to walk around the wine cellar, and we, of course, got to taste so many different vintages of Elusa wines. If you are looking for the best experience in Napa, it's right here at Elusa. Cannot wait to take another trip out here.

Google
What a nice place! I hear it was just opened in 2021 perhaps! it sure does look new! I got to stop by and check out this winery and I was impressed! the staff was very friendly and I enjoyed the property. Can't wait to go back!

Google
We paid for the Library Tasting ($150/person) and were looking forward to the visit. However, we were very disappointed. Let's start with the location. It's right next to the Four Seasons and it was nice. The people were also nice and that's all I can say. Let's talk about the Library Tasting. There were only 3 cabernets. He poured each of us a tiny volume. I have been to many tastings, and this is the first one where the wine was expensive, and the experience did not match the price. Though the wines tasted nice, I didn't walk away thinking that I will be back. The person did not do a good job introducing the wines. He was busy with other folks. Anyway, be careful. Ask question before you spend $150 for 3 oz total of wines. Hope the winery takes this feedback constructively and make some changes in their customer service policy.

Yelp
Elusa is truly effortless luxury in Calistoga! The modern tasting room can accommodate approximately 25, while their outdoor area can accommodate up to 100 guests with high tops. They have a quaint comfy patio area with comfy seating to the right of the tasting room, as well as traditional patio seating in front of the entrance. Their staff members were super friendly with an extensive knowledge of wine. Reservations required, no walk-ins. I tasted three wines: * Sauvignon Blanc * Cabernet Sauvignon * Petite Syrah Be sure to stop in for a visit and tell them a Diva sent you! Cheers

Yelp
Honestly really disappointed. I was looking forward to their wine tasting and excited that I was able to get in after they were fully booked last year. The place was empty except for two tables in the corner. We were seated at the edge near the back facility room where all of the sunshine of the morning was blazing from the upper windows right into my face. We had to move the table back and forth left to right and back again to get out of direct blaring sunlight. We mentioned it but were not offered the option to move. The entire tasting was quite rushed with the staff member coming over with the next bottle standing waiting while we finished the second half of each glass hurriedly. Whole tasting was rushed into 30 minutes while the two other tables, there before us, were still able to take their time and enjoy. That said the wines were absolutely amazing and we would have gladly purchased the Sauvignon Blanc had it not been so unpleasant of an experience. A true disappointment at a high end winery.

Yelp
This winery, tucked away next to the Four Seasons Hotel, offers a unique vertical tasting experience that's both educational and delicious. The wine is top-notch, complemented perfectly by a tasty charcuterie board. However, the outdoor patio faces a busy street, which was noisy and distracting. While the tasting itself is a highlight, the outdoor ambiance could use some improvement to enhance the overall experience.

Yelp
Amazing small production wine and friendly, knowledgeable staff. Lots of great experiences to choose from, but also offer wine by the glass and cheese and charcuterie. Great patio for enjoying wine outdoors. Pet and family friendly too!

Yelp
Super convenient to the four seasons hotel so that's a huge plus. Like it's literally down the stairs and bam your there. We did a single glass tasting of their white It was fruity, crisp and had a great finish. Look at me like I know wine.. I can't drink heavy reds too much heartburn Enjoyed the patio which is near the street and parking lot so I would say they need more shrubbery or depth to separate from the street and parking lot to make it more cozy. Service is awesome and super friendly

Yelp
We were invited for a complimentary tasting to this winery up in Calistoga north of Napa. The tasting was called a vertical tasting which was a taste of the same Cabernet Sauvignon in different vintages. It came with a charcuterie board which complemented the wine very well. Our host Natalya was very friendly and knowledgeable about the wine and winery. She gave us a tour of the production building and barrel room. We sat at their outside patio where our pup was allowed. The patio is adjacent to the parking lot which was very distracting and didn't have a relaxing ambiance for wine tasting. The wine was very good but was a bit too pricey.

Yelp
If you were trying to provide a memorable evening, you succeeded. Sadly not in a good way. Oh, and the next morning when we mentioned to staff in the restaurant what had happened, they stated "Oh, Chef Shawn, he's the assistant chef - he's either a hit or miss.". Clearly this one was a miss.

Yelp
Beautiful winery, private tastings available. There were small apartments so I believe you can stay there. Our host was Tobias- very knowledgeable and personable. Great company, wine and conversation !! Will definitely come back and have found a new wine to share with friends

Yelp
We randomly came across this winery while exploring the area. Jocelyn was so nice and welcoming and everyone was so kind. I'm pregnant so I couldn't drink, but my husband said the wine was delicious! We'll be back.

Yelp
Located at the brand new Four Seasons, Elusa winery makes world class wine with the critically acclaimed wine maker Thomas River Brown. We tasted the beautiful Sauvignon Blanc that was aged 9 months in oak that gave the rich flavor. The 2014 petit sirah was tasting amazing. Also a big fan of the kenefick ranch cabernet franc. Tasted the library Cabernet (2012) that was drinking nicely now and still very vibrant. Our wine educator was knowledgeable and delivered a great experience. I highly recommend it! Advance appointment required!

Yelp
This little winery was a great find. Tobias and Val took very good care of us and were incredibly knowledgeable about their wines and wine making process. Not only were the wines delicious, but my family and I learned a great deal during our visit. The interior decor where we sat for the tasting was beautiful. Elusa has now been added to our list of wine country must-stops.

Yelp
I decided to visit this little known new winery based on an article in Robb Report. What a find! Nestled in the brand new Four Seasons In Calistoga. We had the luck of having "Rob" serve us our wine tastings. Funny, warm and knowledgeable he walked us through a flight of wines. Asthetically speaking the tasting room was done beautifully. Warm, bright and comfortable. Now the wine. Great Cabs and a first for me was their Cabernet Franc. Omg a wonderful find! It was a wonderful experience and we will be back with friends. Don't forget to request Rob!!!

Yelp
Husband and I did the upgraded wine tasting and tour. The tour is walking back into a storage hallway, being shown a windowless room with conference table and sad wine lockers of Four Seasons residents (most were empty), and back out the concrete hallway and into a curtained room (no view of mountains, or the vines, or anything.). The vines on site haven't produced usable wine grapes since 2014 and won't for a few years. Sediment heavy (like an entire beach) okay tasting wine for $165 plus a bottle. Literally any other tasting room in town will be a better experience and value. Not a single tasting note or flavor was discussed, with years being touted instead ("the 2016 was pretty ignored but now 2016's gaining even more attention than other years"). One woman trying to get the most out of the experience asked if there was a pairing or order to the provided cheese plate with the wine. "The cheeses all pretty much taste the same, and the wines are close to each other anyway so it doesn't really matter" was the guide's reply. The "tour" ended with the guide offering cart ride tours of the hotel grounds to people (why?) while he asked everyone else to remain (with no wine or cheese boards left) at a table to talk (why?) with each other before he returned from carting (when?) to take orders. A truly ridiculous experience.

Yelp
We had an incredible tour & tasting with Cameron! They are super dog friendly and we were able to have our fur baby, Hank, with us the whole time. The wine was amazing and we decided to join the wine club. We look forward to many more visits!

Yelp
Rob is amazing ! He made our experience unique and one of a kind :) it was my first time trying petite Sirah and of course my boyfriend had to purchase a bottle their wines are very sophisticated

Yelp
My family and I were in the Wine Country and decided to stop in to Elusa Winery and what a find it was! We were given a tour by Tobias who proved to be the consummate host.... extremely knowledgeable and very passionate about Elusa wines. The chic tasting room "paired" perfectly with the delicious wines..... a great selection of cabs, along with my personal favorite..... 2014 Petite Sirah. We had a memorable time and will definitely be making a return visit. Kathy A

Yelp
Exceptional new experience in the Four Seasons basement. The tour and guide were exceptional. Minus one star for the wine itself. Will be back.
