Got lucky that I was there during a weekend they were giving tours and it was incredible! Was able to see everything from the beautiful living room, to the fabulous pool, and the legendary master bedroom. The tour was about $60 and well worth it. There were a good amount of people on the tour, but you still get to see everything. Highly recommend if you get the chance.

Was lucky enough to take the tour of Elvis’ Honeymoon Hideaway in 2019 before the house was bought, sold and ruined. It used to be as original as possible, red velvet, cheetah print, mid century kitschy perfection with a charming tour guide and all the fabulous stories. When I look at the photos of gray floors and reupholstered ‘modern’ decor I wonder why someone would come here when the lobby of a Marriott might have the same effect. Guess it’s a sign of the times to see Depression gray replacing mid century fun and whimsy. Sorry for anyone who didn’t get to experience the real deal.

Just had a VIP tour of the Elvis Honeymoon house aka the House of Tomorrow which was featured in 1962 in Look Magazine. The restoration is amazing and the design details will blow you away. I love the front door approach where you climb up on round stepping plates that are suspended above a stream and waterfall. (See pics to appreciate...hard to describe). The front doors and hardware are original and from Morocco. They stripped away years of paint to reveal the original finish that blends perfectly with the stone. The Millwork is flawless. The kitchen has a circular island with built in burners. While this is exactly how the original was built, the burners have been updated. Originally there was also a built in wok that has been lost over the years. In the renovation they did not try and exactly match the original terrazzo but instead chose a large aggregate that complements the original. I love how they inserted the metal into the terrazzo keeping the same overall feel of the original. I could go on and on but I think the photos tell the story best. If you have an opportunity to tour this landmark, do it!

If you're in the neighborhood well worth a detour. Nice midcentury modern house. It's just a drive by -- private residence.

Beautiful mid century home used by Elvis on his honeymoon. Very easy to find keep in mind this is a private residence and doesn't offer tours.

Very beautiful and it appears they let you inside on some Sundays for a price, although both sides are under construction at the moment and how they finish soon, other than that very beautiful house to take a peak at.

Super cool to be able to view the exterior of Elvis’ honeymoon house. It’s a private residence now and not open to the public but the view from the cul-de-sac is great.
