EMA House Hotel Suites

We stayed at the Ema House Hotel Suite for a night on 18th Sep 25. We booked an Executive Suite with 2 bedrooms. Rooms: The lounge, bathroom, and bedrooms were pretty spacious. The decor was modern. We liked the big window in the living room, but the beds were the best part – the mattresses were super comfy as we both fell asleep in minutes every time! Services: The staff were friendly and helpful. One of them showed us to our room and was happy to store our luggage when we left. Location: The hotel is located in the northeast of Zurich HB station, the tram station (Beckenhof) is just right outside the hotel and it's just a couple of stops (3-4 minutes) from Bahnhofquai HB (line 11 or 14). We loved the location, as we always stay in this area when we're in Zurich. It's quiet but it's also easy to get to the city center (i.e. line 11 will take you to Bahnhof Street & the Zurich lake in minutes) We believe Ema House Hotel would be way better if: First, the kitchen cupboards weren't locked, as we couldn't use any kitchenware there. Second, the air cons was very weak, especially in the living room, even when we turned the temperature down to its lowest and it's still very hot. Third, the bedrooms were dark, even with the lights on, and that big tree outside the windows didn't help. Fourth, the 2 single beds in that one room should be actual beds, not a bed with a bench. Finally, the sofa could be a lot cleaner, and the TV should have internet so we can watch YouTube and stuff. We liked it here, but we're hoping it'll be even better next time we visit.

We stayed couple of nights and booked the highest category rooms which comes with also a washer dryer, |But after paying almost 400 euros per night much was left wanting|1. There is a kitchenette but there are no saucers , cups , spoons utensils|2. Inspire of reminding twice , they forgot to refill the toiletries . The night we checked in it was empty already. So basically bad house keeping . So even after reminding the front desk in the morning , seems no one cares ||Will give it a pass next time when we are in Zurich

We stayed for 2 nights in a Junior Suite on the 7th floor. We were warmly greeted by friendly and informative staff - they made us feel very welcome.|The suite was great - very clean and spacious with nice decor/furnishings. We had a small balcony that looked out at the city.|On arriving in Zurich we walked to the hotel from the train station. It took about 10/15 minutes, some of which is uphill - it wasn’t too bad although it was a little difficult to find the location. Accommodation in Zurich is very expensive. The EMA Suites are not cheap, but they represent very good value for the quality.|Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at EMA Suites and would be very happy to stay there again. We would definitely recommend it.

A great stay with EMA House! There was very good communication prior to arrival, and the accommodations matched the pictures perfectly. Parking was very easy if you have a car -- indoors, secure and right downstairs in the building. The location is fabulous for strolling into the old neighborhoods rich with cafes and diverse dining. The washer/dryer in suite was quick and efficient for cleaning up during extended travel.|I had read a review that breakfast was just some breads being dropped off -- in fact, the breakfast option was fully of yogurts, fresh fruit, jams, eggs, coffee, and (yes) breads.

An exceptional hotel, service was friendly and attentive, provided everything we needed and more! The location is perfect right out the front you will find the tram and can purchase tickets from reception. Perfectly clean and comfortable and the breakfast in your room is delicious. Highly recommend

I spend very good time with EMA House hotel in Zurich. I booked 2 Bedroom apartment the apartment was wide very good for big families. With all facilities also with AC. The breakfast was great and served in your apartment every day||Sure I will stay again in same hotel

We recently spent a week at Ema House Hotel Suites and found our stay to be largely enjoyable. The property is conveniently located with excellent connectivity—trams stop directly outside the hotel, making travel across Zurich seamless. |Our suite offered a lovely dual view of the river and cityscape, which added to the overall charm of the accommodation. The breakfast service was a highlight, featuring a generous spread with a variety of options that catered well to different preferences.|However, there were a few aspects that could benefit from greater transparency and guest consideration. Although the suite included a kitchenette, its use required an additional fee, which was not clearly communicated at the time of booking. Similarly, access to basic cutlery was restricted; we were provided only two cups for tea and coffee, which were unexpectedly removed on the final day. Upon inquiry, the front desk informed us that cutlery is made available only upon request—a policy that felt rather unusual for a suite-style accommodation.|Despite these minor inconveniences, we appreciated the overall comfort and location of the hotel. Should we return to Zurich, we would be happy to stay at Ema Hotel Suites again.

Despite having booked an apartment with a kitchen so we could self cater, we then had to pay an additional fee to have the kitchen unlocked||Location is excellent - less than 100m from public transport ||Sofa bed is single only. ||Didn’t realise till halfway through the stay that there were blinds in the living area, they did not fully close||Housekeeping replaced a kettle we accidentally damaged and provided an airing rack when required. ||Lovely bathroom, but with all that money spent on tiling the shower curtain was disappointing and made for a very average shower experience

Great stay. Good location, near a tram stop and easy walking distance to the train station and Old Town. The room was large and nice, pillows comfy, balcony appreciated. Service was friendly and fabulous at each encounter. We were especially pleased with the in-room breakfast each morning. Everything was tasty, hot, on time, and with a large variety of items. Highly recommend!

I stayed here for 3 nights as a solo-traveler and I really enjoyed myself. The location itself it right next to the tram stop from the airport, so I was able to transfer easily. The staff was extremely friendly when checking me in and my room was ready with no issues. My room was spacious and clean. I loved the windows and the funky decor. There is no fitness room, but the room was spacious enough for me to do all my exercises inside it. The breakfast every morning was wonderful. I took the breads and the meats and the fruits and made sandwiches and snacks to last me through the day. I think that I only had to buy dinner everyday. The location itself is near the water and just a short walk to the city center. The neighborhood felt safe and the street was quiet. I would stay there again if I found myself back in Zurich, the value for the money was great.

Excellent luxury serviced appartements located at 10 minutes walking from the train station and 1 minute from the tram station (line 11 and 14) that would take you virtually anywhere you want in Zurich. The lobby is open from 6h45 until 9pm and the staff is very discreet so you really feel like it is your very own flat with a personal key that opens the main door/lift/flat door. The pros: -large 1 bedroom flat with a balcony -the modern decor with hints of blue and beige - the comfy bed with the 2 duvets - the extensive tv channels -the separate toilets with sink - the views - the breakfast set/ served at the asked time within your very own living room - amenities like coffee/ tea/ water/ chocolate -near to main attractions Cons: -the A/c wasn't working properly which was ok with the window a bit open but might be a problem if the weather is too hot - could not connect to their free wifi the entire stay and no other option for me (don't know if it was my phone only) Pricey but what is cheap in Zurich??

EMA house is known as the Zurich All Suite Hotel and Serviced Apartments. I believe many of these places within this building are utilised for corporate temporary housing. I found this place on Expedia during a recent trip to Zurich for a group of three people travelling with a dog, with high review ratings, within walking distance of the train station and at a decent price. This place definitely exceeded my groups expectations. I felt like we were in an apartment vs. a hotel room. One of the most spacious places I have staid in for a group of three. The reception desk is only staffed till 9 pm and the Internet costs extra. However, those were the only downsides. The staff were extremely friendly, the cost of breakfast was included and is delivered to your room each morning, just ensure you complete the form with the person checking you in. You will get the same thing each day you are there. I was surprised by how large the break fast was, you can order hot eggs at an additional cost. A bathrobe, slippers, and complete toiletries are provided. Plus a complimentary bottle of mineral water, chocolates, daily newspaper, fax machine, and English video library. Even though these are apartments, you still get your room cleaned each day and fresh towels if you want. Fantastic stay!

This place is a nice balance between an apartments and a hotel. Rooms are large with living rooms. Can have one w/ a kitchen if you want. Decent, european style breakfast in the mornings. Friendly desk service. Conveniently located near train station and typical sites.
