EMA House Hotel Suites

EMA House Hotel Suites is a very well located and nicely maintained hotel. The train station which is just a few meters away is such a pleasure. The location is fantastic to explore Zurich and do the day trips because Zurich HBB is so close. The hotel provides breakfast which is great with eggs, cereals, cheese, tea/coffee, breads, yogurt and fruits. It is extremely clean and well maintained. The staff at the reception is extremely attentive and helpful :) Just two points one should remember - while the area is well connected the eateries are very limited. We reached late in the evening and it was struggle to find something to eat. And by the time we reached the main city everything was almost shutting down. Second, most rooms come with a bathtub-shower combo rather than a walk-in shower, which can be inconvenient. It’s best to request a room with a standalone shower for ease.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Ema Hotel! Chantal, Front Desk Assistant Manager was incredibly welcoming and friendly. Went above and beyond to provide us with clear directions and recommendations for local attractions— she even accompanied our group of 4 couples to show us the rooms and how everything worked. Sean was exceptionally helpful, making check-in smooth and quick. The rooms were beautiful, spotless clean, comfortable, and well-appointed; way better than expected. My family and friends had a relaxing stay; service and facilities are really impressive! I highly recommend Ema House Hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and hospitable place to stay. I’ll definitely be returning!

The staff was wonderful (front desk and housekeeping) but we found the hotel to be dated looking and did not look nearly as nice as the photos. We were in a top floor suite that had a slanted ceiling so there were very few windows and it was low light. The rugs were pretty dirty seeming and matted down and the bathtub drain was plugged. The housekeeping staff had to come plunge it for a good 5 minuted before it cleared and the water back up looked very dirty in the tub while she was doing this. After noticing these things we felt that it wasn't worth the +$500 USD/night we were paying and moved to another hotel for our second night in Zurich. Otherwise, we did like the location (overlooking the river and at a great swimming spot and an easy walk to the museum and transportation) and found the staff to be friendly and helpful!

Loved our suite at EMA in Zurich. The suite was large and very modern and luxurious. The hotel was well placed next to a tram stop or you could walk into the centre of town. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Only slightly annoying thing was the kitchen area was locked and you had to pay extra to have it unlocked for use (though the fridge was available). Otherwise a perfect spot in Zurich.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay! Wonderful staff! We highly recommend this clean and comfortable hotel. The staff is very helpful and will help you navigate the trains or anything you need. The suites are very large and just as pictured.

Great hotel. Pleasant stay. Nice staff. Good location. Sparkly clean. Overall, very very happy as a family. We liked room service breakfast. Very convenient.

The pillows are indeed fluffly...... slept very well, thank you very much . ||Good location, near a bus stop that brings you to Zurich Central train station. ||Even more convenient, I could buy an all day Train pass at the hotel lobby ||Thank you for the lovely breakfast in the room...... such a hearty breakfast and a great treat to all your guests....

Very lovely hotel. Super nice stay. Location is great, room is new and tidy. Great facilities and very nice layout. Friendly staffs as well. Very good stay. Also very nice breakfast. I had a great time staying there. Very convenient to the sight seeing places.

Great stay. Good location, near a tram stop and easy walking distance to the train station and Old Town. The room was large and nice, pillows comfy, balcony appreciated. Service was friendly and fabulous at each encounter. We were especially pleased with the in-room breakfast each morning. Everything was tasty, hot, on time, and with a large variety of items. Highly recommend!

I stayed here for 3 nights as a solo-traveler and I really enjoyed myself. The location itself it right next to the tram stop from the airport, so I was able to transfer easily. The staff was extremely friendly when checking me in and my room was ready with no issues. My room was spacious and clean. I loved the windows and the funky decor. There is no fitness room, but the room was spacious enough for me to do all my exercises inside it. The breakfast every morning was wonderful. I took the breads and the meats and the fruits and made sandwiches and snacks to last me through the day. I think that I only had to buy dinner everyday. The location itself is near the water and just a short walk to the city center. The neighborhood felt safe and the street was quiet. I would stay there again if I found myself back in Zurich, the value for the money was great.

Excellent luxury serviced appartements located at 10 minutes walking from the train station and 1 minute from the tram station (line 11 and 14) that would take you virtually anywhere you want in Zurich. The lobby is open from 6h45 until 9pm and the staff is very discreet so you really feel like it is your very own flat with a personal key that opens the main door/lift/flat door. The pros: -large 1 bedroom flat with a balcony -the modern decor with hints of blue and beige - the comfy bed with the 2 duvets - the extensive tv channels -the separate toilets with sink - the views - the breakfast set/ served at the asked time within your very own living room - amenities like coffee/ tea/ water/ chocolate -near to main attractions Cons: -the A/c wasn't working properly which was ok with the window a bit open but might be a problem if the weather is too hot - could not connect to their free wifi the entire stay and no other option for me (don't know if it was my phone only) Pricey but what is cheap in Zurich??

EMA house is known as the Zurich All Suite Hotel and Serviced Apartments. I believe many of these places within this building are utilised for corporate temporary housing. I found this place on Expedia during a recent trip to Zurich for a group of three people travelling with a dog, with high review ratings, within walking distance of the train station and at a decent price. This place definitely exceeded my groups expectations. I felt like we were in an apartment vs. a hotel room. One of the most spacious places I have staid in for a group of three. The reception desk is only staffed till 9 pm and the Internet costs extra. However, those were the only downsides. The staff were extremely friendly, the cost of breakfast was included and is delivered to your room each morning, just ensure you complete the form with the person checking you in. You will get the same thing each day you are there. I was surprised by how large the break fast was, you can order hot eggs at an additional cost. A bathrobe, slippers, and complete toiletries are provided. Plus a complimentary bottle of mineral water, chocolates, daily newspaper, fax machine, and English video library. Even though these are apartments, you still get your room cleaned each day and fresh towels if you want. Fantastic stay!

This place is a nice balance between an apartments and a hotel. Rooms are large with living rooms. Can have one w/ a kitchen if you want. Decent, european style breakfast in the mornings. Friendly desk service. Conveniently located near train station and typical sites.
