Why I Go to the Movies Everywhere I Travel

"Thailand is also home to the most expensive movie experience I’ve ever had. Inside Bangkok’s posh Central Embassy Mall, a ticket to Embassy Diplomat Screens costs $50. While the movie we saw, The Lost City, wasn’t worth the cost of admission, the over-the-top movie experience was. This theater comes with a pre-movie buffet, free-flow drinks, and, once you’re in your bed-like seats, a fully-stocked mini-fridge and blankets."

Very nice theater. Plush seats and decor in the waiting area reminded me of a San Francisco Hotel called the Fairmont Hotel. Classy luxurious and easily a place to bring and impress your friends. Once you purchase your tickets you are invited to the array of snacks i.e. fried chicken mushroom over crackers and your choice of many more and alcoholic treats. The fried chicken is tender and moist. Very good. You can order beverages and have them delivered to your seat. So with temptation I had a nice glass of Merlot to sip during my view of the film Bruitist. A 3 hour really 4 hour movie of a Jewish man, an architect who goes through the hardship establishing work when landing in America, dealing with prejudice, a boss who takes advantage of him in many ways and a wife who has to tolerate his vices. The theater has director chairs which recline almost to a lie-flat but are comfortable. They supply a silk blanket in case you’re cold or want an extra pillow behind your head. Overall a really nice place to go, have drinks, bring your friends and see a movie if your choice. Highly recommended!

For 2 people for bed cinema experience was AUD $180 , honestly was not worth the price. We got there at 9pm and movie started at 9.45pm (venom) we had time to get a few complimentary tiny snacks - they had been sitting there for a while so nothing was fresh. Disappointing for the price to say the least. They could have more options for food and drinks provided within the cost. The workers just stand there staring at you when you’re trying to help yourself with the food and drinks making it awkward and not wanting to get anything. The bed cinema experience itself was amazing and comfortable I will definitely do it again but somewhere else — The mini fridge next to us only had 2x small chocolate bars and a few drinks they said we had complimentary beers inside but nothing was in the fridge. Overall I would rate the bed cinema experience 6/10

We have an amazing experience. The cinema looks luxurious. The "bed-like" flatseat was very comfortable. The service was fantastic. Welcome drink and food at the snack bar was very good. There's a mini bar next to the seat too. We will definitely visit again next time when we travel to bangkok.

This cinema is amazing with very high quality seats, beds, food and drinks, and amazing staff. I was recommended this cinema by Brace, one of your workers, and he wasnt wrong about how good this place is. This cinema has very well done and high quality seats that were really comfortable and nice. The beds were well made and very comfortable. I like the beds very much because I can get 𝓯𝓻𝓮𝓪𝓴𝔂 with the person I’m going with. I think one thing to fix is that all the beds werent made perfectly, some of them were like a few centimeters off from other beds. For the chairs I think a massage function would be nice. The employees there are really nice, kind, and helpful as it was my first time going to a very luxurious cinema. One employee in particular was best and his name is Brace. He was very helpful and made sure that the time I was there was unforgettable. I have came up with a positive and negative list for him. Positive: he is very helpful and kind which was a very big green flag as it represents how the other workers were trained to service the customers. I think he is a very good worker and a nice person in general and he deserves a raise. Negative: he might throw popcorn at you and sometimes is a bit 𝓯𝓻𝓮𝓪𝓴𝔂 when you are in bed. Over all I would recommend everyone to have an experience in this cinema. Also please do acknowledge that my experience might be different than others so don’t expect to experience the things that I say. I like this cinema very much and would come back when I have money again.

I have visited this place 5-6 times, and unfortunately, the service and overall experience have declined so much. 1. Welcome Drink Restriction: Previously, I was always greeted with a welcome drink, but today, I was told it’s only for certain cardholders. This feels like unnecessary differentiation—why should I be treated differently when I’m paying €100 for tickets? 2. Buffet Removal & Food Control: The buffet is gone, and now the staff controls food selection. I wanted a salad but had no choice in what went into it. Instead, I got a mix with ingredients I don’t like (e.g., onions). Why can’t I customize my own food like before? 3. Service Quality Decline: Staff seemed disengaged, and I had to specifically ask for things that were previously offered, like popcorn. Instead of informing me about availability, they simply tried to escort me to the movie hall. I had to proactively remind them and order Overall, the experience felt downgraded, lacking the premium feel I once enjoyed.

Heard many said it's the best luxurious cinema in bangkok, but siam Paragon Cinema had much more luxurious feel, and staff were more informative. The buffet wasn't even worth it, and when we ordered cocktail, it took over 20min before we got, and it was extremely strong. They didn't even have popcorn available when we were there. Only reason for 3 stars is the comfortable seats.

The declining seats are incredible comfortable almost like lying in bed. Snacks and drinks were great. And I like the mini fridge next to the seat. Perfect for a cozy and luxurious movie night.
