I stayed here while in Sto. Domingo and my stays have always been great. Love the pool with a nice view. Hotel rooms are very nice with excellent view. Very close to nice restaurant, bars and clubs. Never issues with safety. Great Staff and security.

It's one of my favorite hotels in Santo Domingo. Please come in and join me to discover the perfect please to spend time with your family and do business as well. Fron the front desk to the room, happy hour with Luis Antonio and his team at the bar and serving the food as your requested there isn't other hotel like Embassy suite in Santo Domingo in the Sun Silver Gallery's in the heart of Santo Domingo among all your need. I will recommend it to all business, events, and leisure. Thanks to Juan, a bellman who is always available.

I use to love staying in this hotel. Yet their willingness to accommodate or work with the customers not too good. I got there at 4:30am with my 3 small kids straight from airport. Asked if they had any rooms available, the young lady said yes but that I would have to leave at 12pm. Huh? Is there a way you can work with the customer? If I had to pay a bit more I was willing to do so We can sleep and stay the night. Very disappointed.

Had two rooms booked and the lady on checking couldn't find one of them despite showing the booking ref numbers, she simply walked away to back office and said I hadn't booked another room for the first night and need to speak to our agent. Over an hour on hold I spoke with another man at reception who found it within 1 minute and sorted everything. We almost were being forced to book another room again having prepaid in full already! Had to move rooms as the shower wasn't working. There is no shade in the pool area and the pools not heated. So you don't want to spend any time there which is a real shame as it's overlooked by the hotel. Too much preference is given to corporate events and actual hotel residents are ignored. We often stay here but have noticed a very negative downward change this time. The rooms need updating as each had bad peeling wallpaper and terribly dirty windows. Easy things to sort out which they need to with soo many new hotels having opened in theaat 6 months.

If you are going to santo domingo on a business trip and would like to stay close to everything this is the hotel for you. I was greeted by Jarlin he was friendly professional and also was very knowledgeable about the hotel amenities and near by areas I wouldn't be surprised if he is promoted to a manager soon.||breakfast is great, evening reception better than expected great employees all arround very safe with underground free parking. the pool gorgeous and very clean with a bar and bartender at a very good price. ||Applebee's in the bottom floor also movie theater in the same building. I |would absolutely stay there again.

I recently had a two week stay here for Business and left very disappointed. The employees are nice but dont appear to be willing to do much beyond extend apologies. Not sure if they are not empowered much or if they just did not think my issues were worth more than an apology. My stay was over 3k which included an up-charge of $15/day to stay on a higher floor. Out of the 14 days I stayed there, I only had 4 days in which I did not have water pressure issues with my shower. I did not complain for the first few days but rather waited until a day in which not a single drop of water would come out of the shower head for almost 30 minutes. When I complained they told me they would have someone take a look and fix or that they would move my room. They assured me the issue was fixed but still had the issues for the next two days as well. It was not until the final 4 days of my stay that I was able to shower without any pressure issues. One of of the employees mentioned to me that there was an issue with one of the water pumps. My question is why did they have guests in those rooms related to this water pump. Why did I pay an additional fee a day to move higher just to deal with water pressure issues almost every day of my stay? Upon check out I was told that they offered to move me into a different room which was false. They told me that if the pressure issue could not be fixed they would move me. In addition as many have mentioned, the chlorine levels at this time seem unacceptable. Every morning I smelled as if I had taken a dip in the pool when it was the shower. I also came back to a puddle of water next to the toilet one evening with little to no explanation. While the location and hotel itself are nice, it left me a lot to be desired for what was paid for my stay. They did offer me a 2000 peso voucher however I returned it upon check out due to me not feeling remotely came close to acceptable considering how long my stay was and all the issues I encountered. I'm having some issues uploading the videos I took of the pressure issues but will looks to upload in the near future.

Not the place to stay if you want a true vacation feel. This hotel is busy with conferences and families (kids) throughout the hotel. The breakfast was sub-par and the hot tub was lukewarm. There are kids constantly taking over the pool which takes away from the relaxing vibe you may want to experience poolside. They charge for any guest coming to visit you and it's just not recommended if you plan to come here for a relaxing vacation-style trip. The room was nice and clean and had good views though.
