Embassy Suites by Hilton Santo Domingo

One of the best pools of any hotel I’ve ever been to with a lovely deck and bar area. Service was exquisite and the food was a lot better than expected. Rooms were large with all the amenities you’d expect from a Hilton property. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. It’s pretty far from tourist areas, it took us over an hour to walk to the colonial zone. It’s on a busy local 4 lane road with fast food and an Applebee’s nearby. Even with the location not being great, I would def stay here again.

I went for the Christmas party.... 1st and last time... the enviornment was nice especially that my sister inlae turned it up.. the food... it wasnt all bad.. i spoke to the server that the whole hog with the rice inside was not good... I know since we cook up to 200 a year to resell in my family during holidays... the rice was not cooked all the way... there were some tasty food but at the end it was not worth it...

Unfortunately we had a disappointing experience staying at Embassy Suites in Santo Domingo. Although the listing mentions a kitchenette, our room had no cooktop, and when we raised this with the manager, Yelfri Santiago, he was dismissive and rude, stating that “the hotel complies with the chain’s audit.” Despite multiple calls to the security, the noise from loud music continued until 5am on the night of Dec 31, which severely impacted our sleep. The swimming pool was cold. The rooms are outdated, small, and lack natural sunlight, making the stay less comfortable than expected. On the positive side, the breakfast was decent. Overall, this property is not value for money and does not reflect the Hilton experience one would expect from other locations worldwide.

We had an incredible stay at this place. The room (suite) was super clean and comfortable, the service excellent, the breakfast as well as complimentary cocktail hour, just amazing! We would not hesitate to highly recommend this hotel and would not choose to stay anywhere else if we return. Thank you!

Great Location and Amazing Views. This Hotel has everything you need and at a great price. Rooms are large and very clean. Restaurant has a great variety and great taste. Staff is super helpful. Will come back every time. Roof top view and design is very nice.

Absolutely amazing experience. We stayed 10 nights in this hotel. Good food, good staff and great service. Great variety at Buffet breakfast and every evening they offered 2 drinks (alcoholic/non alcoholic) and snacks complimentary for each guest between 5.30-7.30pm. We stayed on the 23rd floor and the view from our suite was truly amazing! Highly recommend! Will definitely stay there again!

We stayed here while attending a family wedding in March. We upgraded to a King Corner Suite with our Hilton Honors and selected our room using the app. It's a stunning building with amazing views from the higher floors. Check-in was a breeze with friendly, professional staff to greet us. Help was offered to bring in our luggage from the car. Emmanuel was very helpful at the front desk, providing details about the hotel amenities and local restaurants. The evening reception featured some light bites and "happy hour" type specials on beer, wine, and cocktails. This was a great time/place to meet and decide on evening plans. The rooftop infinity pool provided breath-taking views and a relaxing getaway from the street level traffic. Vianely was kind enough to show us around the pool area and fitness center, making sure we found towels, loungers, etc. There's also an outdoor bar by the pool. At breakfast, Rafaela greeted us with a warm smile and guided us to their HH Diamond members seating section. There was lots of variety offered from an omelette station, to pastries, cereal, fruit, eggs, waffles, meats, cheeses, juices, coffee, tea, and more. Our room was well-appointed, modern, clean, and comfortable. The bedroom and bathroom featured floor-to-ceiling windows. The bed was big and comfy. The living area and bedroom each had their own TV. We were amused to find Wendy's and Krispy Kreme both within walking distance. We can never resist those doughnuts. We would definitely stay again and recommend it to anyone.

Beautiful rooms and view. The food was ok and the elevator took way too long at times. But overall it was a nice experience
