Absolutely magnificent location with the most beautiful sea views. Fantastic breakfast, rooms were super clean and staff were all friendly and no task was too big. We had lunch and dinner overlooking both the pool and sea which was fabulous.

Wonderful hotel for a Greek vacation. Incredibly peaceful and relaxing with the most magnificent views you can imagine. All the staff were warm and welcoming and made us feel right at home. Great accommodations for families. The hotel pool is one of the most beautiful views we've ever experienced with gorgeous secluded beaches just minutes away by walking our car. Magical destination.

From the moment we arrived we were greeted by warm smiling faces , all staff who really cared that we enjoyed our holiday .The location is second to none beautiful views across a blue ocean complementing the well appointed accommodation. Plenty of sun beds and easy access to the local beach and Fiskardo, just a fabulous place to relax and not to forget the first class restaurant staff who helped to make it a special holiday

We’re currently staying at Emelisse and couldn’t be happier. The setting is incredible — right by the sea, surrounded by nature, with amazing views everywhere you look.||The rooms are clean, modern, and really comfortable.||The pool areas are lovely with plenty of space, and the breakfast is great with lots of fresh options.||The staff here are brilliant — they work so hard and somehow stay patient and smiling, even when dealing with some of the more ‘high-maintenance’ guests (we’ve seen a few!). Special mention to Efi and her brother at the pool bar — both absolutely great, friendly, and always on hand to keep the drinks flowing.||The resort is so relaxing we’ve hardly felt the need to leave — it’s the perfect place to properly switch off.||We’re on our final day now and already wishing we had booked longer — definitely recommend for anyone after peace, great views, and proper downtime.

The hotel is well designed in an excellent and picturesque location. It's comfortable and the staff friendly and very helpful. We were met at the main gate by a buggy, and the driver took our heavy bags from the taxi to the buggy. He then drove us to the reception. Checking in was easy and relaxed. The buggy then took us to our room. Excellent unimpeded view of the sea and mountains.||However, the restaurant was disappointing. We did not know when booking that the hotel had only just reopened after the winter and the restaurant was not up to speed. The manager was very apologetic and did not charge us because of poor service and limited choice. Although subsequent meals were better, we felt that the menu was limited and unimaginative. We usually ate in the many restaurants in Fiskado, which is a short walk away.||The breakfast was on a very good terrace with wonderful views. The food was OK. The fruit salad was poor, and much of it came from a tin. ||Our room seemed basic but was functional. Mosquito screens would have been a welcome addition. Bed as comfortable, and there was a really good shower. A machine to make espresso coffee was provided, but we didn't use it as we don't like espresso. A very good addition would have been a kettle and cups. ||On the whole, we liked the hotel, and it's staff and service.||

I love this hotel, the staff are friendly and helpful and the location is stunning. However…a small moan. When I’m paying £400.00 a night for the room and I’m told it has a Nespresso machine I really don’t expect to pay for any more pods after the 4 ‘complimentary’ ones. Seriously this is penny pinching….if I stay in a pub in the uk at a quarter of the price I get tea and coffee facilities in the room! Surely a few coffee pods can be absorbed into the cost of the room!

June is a perfect month to visit Kephalonia and to stay at the best location and hotel on the island - The Emelisse hotel. |The views are unbelievable, especially from the breakfast balconies, and the service is friendly and helpful. |There is an adults only pool as the main pool can get noisy with kids.|I had the best deep tissue massage I have ever had with Clare in the spa!|There are lots of food and snack choices all day long and you are near four beaches within walking distance. |I thoroughly recommend this hotel!

Where do I start.....an amazing location with stunning views and gorgeous food. The pool area has an amazing backdrop with a beautiful beach only a minutes walk. The beach was stunning with rocks to dive in from and water so clear. It was truly beautiful. I liked the fact that day boats were discouraged from dropping anchor and if any ventured near they were told by the locals on paddleboards to move on. The breakfast was the best with homemade jams and my favourite marmalade, which was made by the two ladies who owned the hotel. The Emelisse is a family run hotel, and the staff is so friendly. We went on a motor boat trip which was to be frank, the best excursion ever. The skipper was a friendly chap called Costas who knew the areas and the best beaches to go to. I have never enjoyed a trip so much. Another note was that a complimentary bus was also put on by the hotel for guests to attend the local port Fiskardo. This port had an abundance of restaurants and decent shops. It was quite like an adult Disneyland with all the restaurants and bars. I did not want to leave. A huge 'Thank you' to all the staff at the Emelisse. I will stay again. Efcharisto! Rich and Ruth
