Emerald House

We have stayed at Emerald House for 4 nichts and it was amazing. The staff is an absolute delight. The booking was very convenient, we could already check in at 12:00 and the room was very nice. (Saphire 1) A nice bathroom, very comfortable balcony, a big bed with a mosquito net and also a second floor. Additionally the room had a shared refrigerator and kitchen supplies so we prepared our own breakfast, which was a nice add on. The room is very quite & clean, and you could even see the ocean. Since it is very close to Cloud 9 it is perfect for surfers and people that like to be at the beach. All in all I would highly recommend the hotel and would love to come back.

What an incredible stay - accommodation (we stayed in Octopus House) was exceptional. Clean, comfortable and well equipped. Great facilities and perfect location for Cloud 9 access. The staff and owners, especially, were cheerful, helpful and hospitable. A very high recommendation and we will be coming back!

I stayed here with my family for 2 months. It's a very short walk to cloud nine, has wonderful friendly staff and a great Indian restaurant. We had an amazing holiday. I hear there are plans for a pool - I hope to go back next year.

We had a great stay here. The plants and grounds are beautiful. The indoor/outdoor house was stunning. You have to be comfortable with sharing the space with nature (geckos, ants, the occasional larger bug) but the benefit is feeling surrounded by tropical beauty. The staff were a delight and and enjoyed the restaurant food.

Very beautiful, peaceful environment with a retreat like feel to it. The spa was amazing, best all round on the island that we’ve had - I’d recommend Grace for a massage! Our hostess Sasha was always available and ready to help and accommodate for anything and everything we needed, you’re brilliant thanks so much. Close to all the surf breaks and central enough without being noisy and good prices for the rooms! Xo

Emerald House is a true haven of peace! We stayed for 6 weeks in Geko House in 2022 and returned for 6 weeks in 2023. Dalvina and Paul are so nice people who bend over backwards to satisfy their guests' requests. They are full of good advice and very responsive to the slightest request. The whole team is adorable, the accommodation is clean and well maintained. The geographical location is perfect and the garden incredible. Our children could play freely in the garden with their friends and this year also in the yoga shala ! This place is really perfect, we plan to come back again very soon!

We stayed in the gorgeous Peacock House for only 2 nights because they were otherwise fully booked. It’s a huge space, I think 8 people would fit comfortably as they have 3 bedrooms and a massive U-shaped sofa on the G/F. The surrounding gardens are well-maintained and lush. They are very conscious of minimising the impact of tourism on the island. We didn’t get the chance to get a massage but heard many amazing things about their spa. They also host yoga classes on-site twice a week. The location is great as it’s less than 3 minutes’ walk from Cloud 9 and Shaka where we enjoyed a beautiful sunset and delicious smoothie bowls. Nice spacious self catering apartments in a lovely green setting , only a short walk from cloud 9 . Few maintenance issues in the apartment in water leaking from base of the toilet. Air con was good but in need of a service , as was dripping a bucket full of water during the nighttime’s .
