Emeralda Resort Ninh Binh

We enjoyed a two night stay on our Vietnam tour. This resort was the perfect sanctuary. We only regret that we didn’t have time to ride the tandem bicycles through the village. Our hotel provided tour guide Thong and drivers were a great addition to our trip.

Loved this resort so much! Views were stunning 🤩 staff were so lovely and helpful and breakfast was great, lots of selection! Our room was great and the bath really topped it off. Great location with lots of cafes with amazing views only a 5 minute walk away. Perfect location for the cave boat trip. Made Ninh binh our favourite place to visit in Vietnam.

We had a wonderful week in Ninh Binh staying at Emeralda Resort. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and quiet with a full bath as well as separate shower. The facilities are excellent with pools for all weather conditions. The service was very attentive and the staff very kind and helpful. The location is a bit out of the way (15km from Ninh Binh) but that’s because the resort is so large and includes so many facilities. It’s very easy to organise transportation and tours from the front desk, so you can see all the beautiful sights of Ninh Binh. We had a relaxing time and recharged.

A lovely place to stay for proximity to local attractions including the Tran Am river tours and hikes. Friendly staff and great facilities in the room and poolside area. Great breakfasts. Depending on your room location there can be noise from the local party spots, but otherwise recommended! Thank you from Amy and I. Cam on!

I stayed here with my colleagues on a weekend in late October. My first impression of Emeralda Resort Ninh Binh was how peaceful and tranquil it felt. The resort is designed to resemble a traditional Northern Vietnamese village, with small alleys named after familiar places often found in poetry and literature, such as Xom Dong and Xom Doai. The room was clean, pleasantly scented, and environmentally friendly. The food suited my taste very well, especially as someone who prefers traditional Vietnamese cuisine. There were also plenty of beautiful spots for taking photos and checking in. From the resort, it took us about a 10-minute walk to reach Van Long Wetland Nature Reserve. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay and truly enjoyed the experience.

Our family had an extreamly relaxing week at Emeralda. The staff bring a lovely local feel to it. There are amazing view of a limestone escarpment, and opportunities for beautifully bike rides near by. Our 3 boys lives all the facilities, 2 pools, gym and large spacious rooms. The breakfast was the best during our 3 week stay in Vietnam. Thong took us in a wonderful day tour which was extreamly well thought out and worthwhile, the landscape and temples were the best we visited in Vietnam. Highly recommend. Great value all round.

Nice place but dirty in places. E.g. the shower and we had rats & rat droppings outside our room. Breakfast restaurant in particular is beautiful. The whole resort is very nicely designed. It’s nice to have free access to billiards and mini golf. The gym and pool were both nice. It’s a shame nothing is open past 10pm. We would have liked to have continued to have a drink in the bar.

We had a one night stay at this luxurious resort. Beautifully located by the water with stunning views at sunset. Amenities like the pool and the gym were great. The breakfast buffet was spectacular and probably top 1% in terms of quality, freshness, variety and service. Staff were extremely kind, courteous and attentive to all our needs. It’s a perfect place to stay to explore Ninh Binh area. Would recommend and come back.
