Emeralda Resort Ninh Binh

Thong Tran took us on an incredible tour of the pagodas and temples. He was a very gracious guide. One of the best experiences of my life. The hotel was elegant and the grounds very beautiful. Our all around service was amazing. We had a very nice spa experience as well. The girls took very good care of my wife and myself. If you are ever in Ninh Binh Vietnam, this is a must stay hotel. I couldn’t imagine it being any better

We have stayed four nights at the Emeralda Resort Ninh Binh With our son and his family and cannot speak highly enough of our day. The resort was built 15 years ago to a very high standard which has been maintained using traditional materials and the gardens are kept beautifully. The rooms are spacious, well designed very well equipped and comfortable. The restaurants have a wide range of choice and the food has been delicious and we have especially enjoyed the Vietnam cuisine. We have had three excursions accompanied by our guide Thong who has provided us with a memorable holiday. We have had busy days visiting temples pagoda bear sanctuary primate rescue Centre, A jungle walk in a national park a bike ride and two boat rides as well as eating in a local home stay. Thong was so attentive and catered for all our needs and showed remarkable photographic skills too. So much to do both on the trips and at the resort and we go home happy but sad to leave. More than anything, the staff have been so friendly, helpful and attentive.

We stayed in the Imperial rooms and they were amazing! Very large, beautiful decor, great views. However, the imperial rooms are right across the river from a nightclub/bar that has very very loud music until 4am EVERY night. It made sleep very difficult. The property is great with a heated pool. The restaurant was mediocre at best and after our first lunch we ate out each night.

This is a nice holiday resort complex in a well maintained but not manicured setting on the edge of a contrasting Vietnamese town. Buggies are available to access main facilities though we were able to walk from Area A. ||We found the restaurant very nice with a decent range of food options. There was a good range at the international and Vietnamese breakfast buffet.||There is a good sized pool area with bar but we did not use it due to pre-arranged trips. The games area with a pool table and table football was much appreciated by children ( and some adults) in our party.||Smallish TV with a limited range of channels in the rooms.

I had an amazing experience at Emeralda Resort Ninh Binh! From the moment I arrived, I felt completely relaxed - surrounded by lush greenery, peaceful ponds, and the soothing sounds of nature. The whole place feels like a hidden paradise, tucked away from the busy world yet still close to all of Ninh Binh’s beautiful sights. My room was spacious, spotless, and beautifully decorated in a traditional Vietnamese style. I loved the little details - the wooden furniture, and the soft lighting. The staff were incredible (especially Eddie), always smiling, kind, and genuinely caring. Every interaction felt personal, and they went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable and happy. Breakfast was another highlight. There was such a great variety - fresh tropical fruits, local dishes like pho, and plenty of Western options too. Everything was delicious and beautifully presented. I left feeling completely recharged and honestly didn’t want to leave. Emeralda Resort Ninh Binh is a special place - peaceful, elegant, and full of warmth. I can’t wait to come back one day. 🌿 Highly recommended - a perfect stay in every sense!

I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The location is absolutely fantastic, nestled near mountains with stunning views, especially when the clouds roll in. The property is beautifully designed, surrounded by lush greenery and bamboo trees, creating a peaceful and inviting atmosphere. The check-in and check-out process was very smooth, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. My room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, offering plenty of space to relax, and the bathroom was spotless. One thing to note is that, according to the staff, the buffet and restaurant were not halal, which might be a concern for Muslim guests. However, during check-out, I had a brief conversation with the manager, who seemed surprised to hear that and assured me that the meat served is actually halal. Don't take my word for it!!!

Very quiet and relaxing resort, with rooms so big you want them at home. Perfect Resto service with all helping smiling faces. Lots of Art in the main building and splendis Terra cotta tiles painting. Top Classic Vietnamese architecture with best of the best Materials and jungle Wood. All perfect and only half Hour from Tam Coc, Ninh Binh

We had a great stay at Emeralda Resort in Ninh Binh. The room was spacious, cool with a very large and comfortable bed. We loved relaxing by the pool and having a cold drink. We went on a tour around the Ninh Binh area with a guide organised by the Resort. Our Guide - Thong - was brilliant! Told us a lot about the history of the area, and was a great photographer, making sure we had lots of pictures together. Overall a wonderful experience!
