Date Night! Spent Valentines dinner here and it was amazing. No need to drive to KC for authentic italian and welcoming service. We were greeted by Emi herself and Nonna! Halle our server was attentive, kind, and very knowledgeable. Food was hot, fresh, and favorable beyond measure! Very romantic yet cozy atmosphere. We will be going regularly.

This small, family-owned Italian restaurant is an absolute gem. The food and drinks were incredible—everything tasted fresh, authentic, and made with so much care. The atmosphere was welcoming and cozy, making the entire experience feel special. What truly sets this place apart is the family themselves; seeing them work together and treat every guest like family made the visit unforgettable. We will definitely be back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for amazing Italian food and a heartfelt dining experience.

The food is definitely worth small issues. Everyone got something different. It was all delicious! Don't plan on talking much. It is really loud and the tables are very close. But, I was too busy eating to worry about it. I can talk to my family any day 🙃

This has quickly become mine and my husband’s go-to weekend date night spot. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and while I can't seem to resist ordering the gnocchi with a bottle of Moscato, my husband tries something new each time and loves every dish he's had. Honestly, you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Halle has been our waitress the past few weeks, and she's been absolutely wonderful--so attentive and kind. We also love our little two-seat table in the corner. The host--who I believe is the owner's daughter--adds such a sweet touch, and I love her little corner filled with handmade crocheted items. We're already looking forward to coming back next weekend for another night together! Alla prossima!

Amazing service, great vibes and the food was incredible. I just returned from Italy 2 weeks ago and this made me feel like I was back in Rome. Loved it and St. Joseph is lucky to have such talented chefs!

This is a wonderful place to take a special someone out for a relaxing experience and have a wonderful meal together. The whole family there is just so kind and pleasant to be around, it's like you're having a meal right by your family kitchen. Except it's a meal far superior to what I'd be able to make at home. Highly recommend the bucatini and tagliatelle dishes. Loved the entree salad bread bowl so we could dip it in our sauces. Great portion sizes. Make a reservation, just to be sure you get seated when you want to, but they seem very accommodating as well.

The Italian food at EMI is absolutely the worst Italian food I have ever had in my life! Many of their sauces are sweet and just overall not good. The chairs are all metal - cold and uncomfortable. The restaurant is dark and noisy. We recently gave the restaurant a second chance and ordered 2 different dishes with white sauce. They were both watery like fresh milk and had no taste at all. On top of it all two dishes plus one glass of wine with tip was $100.00. I’ve had fast food Italian that was much better and 1/4 the cost. I would not recommend EMI to anyone!

Absolutely loved this place was in town for a wedding and I took my wife for a date the bread stick where fantastic and the fettuccine Alfredo was also very delicious
