Quirky cafe specializing in hot drinks and freshly baked cookies. They also serve breakfast, including bagels, granola, and pancakes - all freshly made on site. Friendly and accommodating staff. The cozy atmosphere feels like a living room.

I have been to this cafe three times over the last few years, and it is consistently good. The quality of the deserts and drinks are perfect. They are always usually pretty busy at all times of the year, but are still friendly and fast. The deserts are a great sweet for the day, and the coffee drinks are yummy. A great place!

Don't miss out on their brownie! It was fabulous crunchy outside and fudgy inside. Our cappuccino was great as well as the detox juice. Huge portion size for the avocado toast which was also yummy!

It’s morning, my friends and I are in dire need of coffee and breakfast, and we have absolutely no idea where to go. We’re new in Nice, wandering the streets like caffeine-deprived zombies, when we stumble upon this place. Desperate, we grab a bagel to go. And wow. It hits the spot. Fast forward to our last day in the city. After an unfortunate breakfast attempt elsewhere, where neither the atmosphere nor the menu were particularly welcoming.. like a revelation, we remembered the bagel. The one from the other day. So, we did what any rational people would do: we went back. Not only was the place adorable, but the staff were super welcoming. This time, we went all in: coffees, bagels, avocado toast, cookies, raspberry citronnade, pancakes. Everything was just as good as we remembered, and the warm atmosphere made it even better. Would I return? Well, I already did. And if I find myself in Nice again, i'll probably be at Emilie and the Cool Kids!!!

Google
Friendly and welcoming, lots of delicious looking cakes/cookies on display. We went for a smoothie and a cake and ate in - may be a struggle when busy as it's only a small seating area. Well recommend though.

Had been here over 10 years ago, so returned with family. Marking lower for food, our 3 bagels came burnt and the kids wouldn't eat them. I had a caesar salad which was very good, so might have got a bad serving of over done toasted bagels. Staff were very friendly. 4 stars for atmosphere, music was not the most family friendly, which was there main customers while we were there.

Google
Craving for something sweet to satisfy your sweet tooth, this could be a place for you. All the sweet treats look so tempting. We had banana chocolate bread and caramel cookies. They are just so good. However Cappuccino is just like adding milk without form, could be better.

Google
The coffee was excellent and all the pastries were delicious. There is decent sitting inside and a couple of tables outside. You feel like cool kids having coffee at this place 😉

Yelp
Friendly people behind the counter serving up coffee, pastries, bagels, salads and hot dogs. Small, fun seating area inside and a few tables outside.

Yelp
Nice coffee shop to relax and read a book in a great part of the city. It is in an older part of Nice with many places to wander and explore.

Yelp
Super cute cafe that we had to go to twice because we enjoyed it so much. Great for a quick bite. I got the yogurt bowl twice because I enjoyed it that much!
google avatar

Yelp
The muffins here had a great thickness and crumble to them without falling apart after one bite, but were still soft. The coffee was fine, nothing too fancy, but still good to warm you up.

Yelp
Emilie was such a great discovery during our time in Nice. They serve coffees, breakfast foods, bagels, yogurt! Tbh there was so much to choose from and they are all tasty! The portions are pretty big, compared to the usual French portions. Staffs are so helpful and friendly! They speak English very well and even gives us some local places to check out.

Mary G.

Yelp
We were less than impressed with the food from here. We had a cappuccino, matcha latte, and raspberry muffin. The muffin felt like a standard American muffin. We found the matcha to be watery and too sweet. Cappuccino was ok, also weak. We showed up at opening time (9am) hoping to get one of their salads but they just refused and said it would take 30 minutes.

Yelp
Was looking for a quick and less pricey place for a midday snack/breakfast and stumbled upon Emilie's via Yelp! Looks like they have a lot of fresh pastries, and coffee in addition to bagel sandwiches. We ordered the club(Bing) bagel with chicken between the 2 of us. It was a pretty big bagel and I personally could not finish the whole thing on my own unless I am super hungry. You can order to dine in or to take out /take away. The person brings your order to you if you choose to dine in. The place is pretty small with a few tables in the back. Cutest decor!

Yelp
Very nice cafe in Nice! You should go here for a delicious bagel with salmoon and avocado! Perfect for breakfast and visiting with kids! PS. Amazing people are working here. And the atmosphere was so great!

Yelp
Great service and food. very cute place. Owner cares about the food and presentation. Great coffees and smoothies and has non-dairy options.

Yelp
Hellu~ All I have to say is that it's a lively place. That is not a bad thing at all! They were not running around like crazy people, they were just singing along the music and had fun. Which was really nice. The price wasn't bad at all. It was pretty cheap. The food and drinks are great but the cup was really tiny! I recommend to anyone that's close to just go in and take a look. That's all from me. Take care and good luck with your Café hunt! // Your lil helper

Yelp
What a cute place! It was quite unique as most places had a posh or refined French atmosphere. This place was relaxed and felt so similar to the hipster casual but hyper focused bakeries that just want to do the best chocolate chip cookies. It didnt have the white glove and perfectly executed entrement with the crazy price tags... but that's perfect for a nice morning treat with a great cup of cappuccino. The bakery has a lot of great cookie options to recall every milk soaked cookie crumbed memory of your childhood. M&M cookies, PB cookies, Nutella cookies, and of course the chocolate chip. Cookie Monster would be impressed. In addition to the cookies, they had a lot of the homey cupcakes all iced and decorated on a cake display and several other options like carrot cake and scones. You can take your treat to go or join the elevated seating areas where you'll find a lot millenials quitely on their lap top typing away. We grabbed a few cappuccinos, bacon cheese scone, and a nutella tart to stay and enjoy a few more quiet moments before running back to the beaches. Service here is friendly and warm... quick too to get everything all ready for our fairly large group. Cappuccinos - get this in the regular smaller size as the shot is just nicely balanced with the frothed milk. If you get the larger size, it vastly changes quality as it is super watery and not as tasty. 3.5/5 for large size, 4/5 for smaller size Nutella cappucino - their love of nutella is real as you find it in tarts, cookies and their drinks. This one didn't quite work out as the huge dense nutella just sank at the bottom and never mixed with the drink. We only discovered why the drink was so flavourless when we finally drank it all and opened up the cup and saw 2 tbsp of nutella sitting so lonely 2/5 Bacon Scone - Awesome rich and buttery scone that had large pieces of bacon and cheesy bits to make anyone happy. For the price, it was quite large! I would say that the crumbs were fought over. 4/5 Nutella tart - wooooo sugar rush. The tart was a tender shortbread like buttery crust cradling a generous scoop of nutella. Nice sweet treat that reminds you of slathering nutella on a toast in your childhood. Great place that is a short walk from the Nice beaches ... definitely worthwhile to drop by if you're looking for a good small cappuccino and a tasty sweet treat to give you that sugar jolt to keep you exploring in Nice.

Yelp
I would give them a negative 1 if possible. The atmosphere is nice until you speak to the cashier. She was not paying attention, and when I asked to get help translating the menu for my friend, she gave us so much attitude. The veggie toast was good, but the service was bad.

Yelp
I don't know if they were just understaffed the day we went, or this place just always serves the way they did. I love food and eat anything from high end to airplane food, I'm not picky and enjoy many things. But the food was so bland and completely unseasoned, overpriced, and just not a good experience. I never NOT finish my meal, and here I hardly ate anything. I hate writing bad reviews, I think this is my first one, but it genuinely was not a good experience from beginning to end. I hope it was just a bad day

Yelp
Really great coffee and superb baked goods. I dont think i can stress the coffee enough - exactly how a lait should be. Great service, air conditioning (required in Nice for me to visit during the summer), great sitting area and international patrons. Breakfast, cookies, and brunch were all top notch and not too pricy. They have a really cute little self published magazine that will make you smile. I would have liked to give 4.5 stars because the do not do substations well, but I am not going to penalize them because I am a picky eater. Will stop by whenever in the city.

Yelp
Very nice staff, great atmosphere! We tried 4-5 different products and everything was delicious and quite affordable :-p You can either order to-go or eat inside.

Yelp
Great selection of coffee and teas. Yummy pastries and bagels. Very creative bagels. The NY, I Love You bagel is delicious. Nutellacino and chai tea latte are great. Good breakfast or brunch spot. The decor was cute, limited amount of tables in the back.

Yelp
A hipster cafe in the middle of Nice was a nice reminder of home. I saw this before on my Yelp feed yet never bothered to put in on my map but lucky enough we stumbled upon it after a stroll through the Cours Saleya Market. Walking into this cafe, I got real LA vibes. Everything from the music to the decor to the names of the menu items screamed hipster, not that I minded at all. Because they specialize in cookies we got 2 mini cookies (which are really just normal sizes) for ~ 1EU each. Also decided to get a "Deep Purple" fruit smoothie (5EU) even though they're more known for their coffee. I loved the chocolat Blanc one while their candy bar cookie came in second, but still great! They were chewy and buttery, that's an A+ to me. The smoothie, though small to American standards was decently sized to French standards and packed with all sorts of fruit and delicious as well. If I didn't have the rest of the day to venture around the city, I wouldn't mind staying here because they had free WiFi anndd I could see this being a comfortable study space. Overall, finding this cute little cafe was such a plesant surprise and I could see myself grabbing a few more of those cookies before I move in to the next city!

Yelp
Stopped here for a break. And had a Coffee milkshake that tasted like chocolate milk. Not bad.

Yelp
Super cool vibe! The bagel sandwiches are all good, but I recommend the "New York I Love You". Coffee is also great.

Yelp
Super yummy bagels & kind staff. Well priced too! I'd definitely come back anytime I'm in Nice :)

Yelp
This is a super cute place with a very affordable (11€) brunch option with scrambled eggs, smoked salmon, bagels, pancakes, fruit and orange juice. The place is not that big, so it can get crowded quickly, but if you manage to get a table it's pretty cozy. They have a great selection of cookies and cupcakes and be sure to try the Nutellacino! The service was quick and they offer free wifi. Overall: great place to grab a quick bite!

Yelp
I'm so glad I stumbled upon Emilie's! The man that helped us at the counter was so nice and suggested some popular treats to get. We ended up getting the vanilla praline cupcake and a chocolate/white chocolate brownie. The cupcake was so moist and had many pralines in the mix. The frosting was uh-may-zing. So fluffy and smooth! It came with a praline and white chocolate chip on top with edible sparkles. The brownie was obviously made with a lot of butter because it was so soft and delicious. It's a pretty big brownie too, good size to share if you get multiple treats. The upstairs sitting area has two large couches and lots of tables to sit and use their free wifi.

Yelp
This is a delightful and trendy (in the best way) little coffee cafe! The drinks and pastries are served on cute little trays. We sat by the window in the morning time to gaze out at passersby. There isn't a lot of seating room inside so it depends how busy it is/when you come for when you get a table or not. The drinks and pastries were great and you can taste the care that's put into making them. Merci!

Yelp
Whoohoo great little spot to have a cookie, tea, coffee or bagel. They were sweet and had up American flags for the 4th of July. Plus it's their big game tonight against Germany so they were in support for that as well:) The girls were all very friendly and the ambience was very quaint and cool. I had a cookie which was delicious. The cookie is a bit different. A bit grainier with the sugar. I loved it though! Great flavor;) I also purchased a cup cake. I don't think France does a lot of cookies so for me this was a bit of home. Loved all of it! If you get a chance pop in and have a try!

Yelp
I was feening a coffee pretty badly as it was already past the time that I usually get one, and this place totally hit the spot. I was able to get a latte and a chocolate chip cookie, and with a sip and a bite I felt like I was home. So glad they had a restroom that I could use here as well. The place can get pretty busy, but the staff still tries to move quickly and is still so very nice. The prices are reasonable and could see myself stopping by often if I lived here. There's so many goodies I wanted to try, and the place is spacious and comfortable.

Yelp
This place has a very American millennial vibe. If you're looking for wifi, a bathroom, free water, pastries, some American trap music, AC, a place to hang out for a bit, and don't mind forgoing the traditional French cafe scene, this is the place for you. The atmosphere is great and the food it good. The staff were friendly and spoke both English and French. I could imagine his place doing well in Seattle or San Francisco.
google avatar

Yelp
I really liked this place! I got the VG mike without cheese and added tomato to make it vegan. Also, they had a lemon muffin that was vegan and they have soy milk. My husband got the BLT, a cookie and Nutella brownie. It did not disappoint. Totally recommend this place to everyone.

Yelp
Thanks to Yelp and found this place. The people are very very friendly and accommodating. They spoke English to us since we can't speak French. The food is really good and worthy of it's price. Value for money. We didn't get the sweets as we are on a certain diet but their options are tempting! We have a hearty breakfast and definitely didn't disappoint. We got the Pimp your eggs set meal and the serving portion is huge for a good breakfast!

Dasa S.

Yelp
Amazing place! Very tasty bagels! Good value of money. Gluten free option available! Quite small maybe site about 25 people only, but quickly service so people comes and go.

Harriet T.

Yelp
Such a good selection of drinks and food. Very nice vibe and friendly staff. Would love to come again :)

Yelp
Great coffee and the cookies were amazing. A little slow on the service, but they were friendly. Cute location and cool vibe!
google avatar

Samer M.

Yelp
Best bagels I had in a long time. We had the Salmon and the VG Mike bagels. The cookie we tried, Choconuts, was actually not worth it. Would definitely come back for the bagels and maybe to try a salad but not for the cookies..
google avatar

Sawa Y.

Yelp
The cutest cafe in Nice! They offered us free cookies just because we had to wait a little bit for our drinks! They are super kind and care so much about their customers!
google avatar

Michael L.

Yelp
We came here to get some coffee and a snack between lunch and dinner and I must say that I was disappointed considering the reviews that it had. Yes, the place was very cute and relatively hipster, but the flavors of the cookies were just not up to par with what I was expecting. We had the peanut butter and M&M cookies and the dough felt a little bit flour-y and it was just not a very pleasant experience. The coffee was good though so this place does get a 3 stars. It's a good place to get away from the heat or if you want to read a book or get some work done. However, I didn't find the cookies (for which the place is named) to be very good.
google avatar

Joey T.

Yelp
Nice little stop for a coffee break. Had the Nutellachino and it was a really good "pick-me-up".
google avatar

Khaled E.

Yelp
Simple place with simple food. Nothing special. Ordered the chicken bagel and pancakes (little dry) as they should offer syrup and Nutella and not one or the other.
google avatar

Özgecan G.

Yelp
Omg the cutest coffee shop ever! I found it on yelp and gave it a try and wow. I am not disappointed, ate a pretty good cheesecake, had my eyes on cookies too but maybe for the next time, and the ambience was so cute! The staff is super helpful and friendly so just go for ittt!
google avatar

Munchausen B.

Yelp
I'm neither cool or a kid, but loved this place. Great bagels, coffee and service. Chill and cheerful vibe. And free Wifi.
google avatar

Kimia A.

Yelp
Amazing! I got a quiche + salad and a muffin for less than 10 euros. Quiche + salad was a large portion size. All of the food was delicious. The inside design is super nice so it's a great place to sit, and it helps that they have WiFi. The staff was very friendly to me. I'd go back!
google avatar

McKay C.

Yelp
We got the chicken BLT on plain bagel and it was absolutely delicious. The atmosphere of the restaurant is homie and we plan on going back.
google avatar

Yelp
I would ranting this Cafe for Rank E , because everything was Excellent(food, coffee, services, place),I must back again to Nice for this lovely restaurant.
google avatar

Tiny M.

Yelp
Pretty cool cafe with soft cookies and bakes. They have some vegan options as well, making it more available for many.
google avatar

Casey B.

Yelp
Friendly staff and quirky decor makes this place a great breakfast stop while in Nice. Be prepared the bagel sandwiches we ordered were heavy with cream cheese, but no other complaints. Both cappuccino and caffe latte were great and served with a side of a peanut butter cup.
google avatar

John D.

Yelp
Clientele seems to be mainly teenage school girls: so it can get noisy. Cookies are horribly sweet: sugar seems to be the main ingredient.
google avatar

Ula L.

Yelp
Great hidden american style breakfast. Awesomebrunch on Sunday for only 11 eur. Very nice service. You can seat on the comfy sofa and enjoy Freedom tastes ; )
google avatar

Michael C.

Yelp
Very cute cafe that dwarves authentic American pancakes, bagels, brownies, and eggs. If you find yourself in Nice needing a taste of home with a French flair, this is the place. Also note anything with eggs is at brunch on the weekends only.
google avatar

Bianca P.

Yelp
I'm kind of addicted to chai lattes. I say "kind of" because I'm not as bad as some people are with coffee... I don't get withdrawal symptoms or anything like that. But I do get grumpy if I don't get my chai/sugar/caffeine fix-- I actually brought chai tea bags to France and added tons of honey and milk to make DIY chai. That said, I was SO excited to find Emilie's, which serves legit chai lattes. We stopped by after grabbing pastries at a nearby market, so at that point I was too sugared up to try the baked goods. However, they looked delicious. All in all, it's an adorable little spot for a treat.

Yelp
Good service and tasty deserts. The prices was good too. Only complaint is that the seating places wasn't cozy
google avatar

Sid J.

Yelp
The place is awesome. The food is great. We had the brunch platter and loved absolutely everything on our plate. The cookies and pastries were awesome too.
