Emma's Bay House (and really, the town of Fairhope) has convinced this New Englander that she wants to move there... or, spend at least another week in this gorgeous bed and breakfast that was like staying in a postcard, complete with bay breezes and Southern charm!
Divine doesn’t begin to cover the Betty Annette room. Tucked on the upper level, the balcony afforded a jaw-dropping view of Mobile Bay. I love a good coffee sipping (or wine sipping) rocking chair view and this is one of the best ones I've ever encountered!
Now, breakfast. They know how to do it. Our first morning was homemade French toast and the second was a delicious vegetable quiche. I'm not really a breakfast in the morning person, nor am I a veggie quiche person, but I was this weekend!
The location is also fantastic. In the mornings we biked to the nearby pier and it's a super quick ride to downtown. We could have biked to downtown, but it's uphill and I was lazy and full of french toast.
Best part was probably coming back after dinner and going out to the beautiful back lawn overlooking the water, playing Count Every Star by the Ravens on my little phone speaker as we danced under the stars. 💕
Anyways, safe to say we will be back to enjoy this amazing bed and breakfast!
