I love this place, it's somehow vintage, always offers a nice selection of movies, sometimes not available in Lebanese cinemas. The movies are chosen from all over the world not only hollywood. They host events whose profit goes to supporting a cause.

It's my favorite cinema in Beirut. Don't get discouraged by the restrictive 2 auditorium layout. Movies are usually well curated, especially if you're keen on trying something that the big movie theaters are not offering. It's also a venue for various international and national movie festivals, so the schedule are pretty diverse.

I love how you feel it is a cultural escape with the different movie festivals it hosts.

A local cinema that offers indie films from both Lebanon and around the world. They normally have a film festival organized and you get to view films that cannot be found otherwise. Nice atmosphere and amazing crowd. Definitely one of my favorite places in Beirut.

One of the oldest theaters in Lebanon part of the Empire Cinemas Group. This venue is now dedicated to offer less commercial movies, movie festivals, indie films, local productions and similar genre. Highly recommended if you are an amateur of the genre

The Best! the only one who cares about showing great filmmakers movies from time to time with almost symbolic tickets price. Once for example, they did a week for Antonioni! you'll never find this anywhere else in Lebanon. In addition you have the week, or more than one week, of international cinema. Plus other events, like showing short movies for independent movie makers.

I really love this place. I attended the European film festival and I watched many movies there. I respect the fact that the place keeps the best movies!! (none commercial ones) I like the vintage design. It is not crowded. It's not expensive. Delightful experience!

Apart the selection of movies and the film festival. It should be renovated. The chairs are very uncomfortable. I was watching the movie nourhan and the motor broke down , the electricity went off we stayed in the dark had to wait to be fixed... this is unacceptable!!!! The facilities are very outdated , old its not vintage ...
