America's Best Seafood Markets

"A Milwaukee wholesaler in business since 1913 that buys live seafood straight off the boat, offering local whitefish and trout alongside Alaskan king crab legs, snow crab, and Maine lobster tails. The market runs weekly specials (for example, discounted smoked fish and crab days) and maintains an active social presence with giveaways and promotions." - Julekha Dash

Best fish market in Wisconsin. Excellent selection of both fresh and frozen seafood. Great staff, particularly Ian who is always fired up about the new stuff they have in each week. If they ever have bluefin tuna at the counter, buy it without hesitation. My only gripe is I wish they had it more often. Smoked salmon is great too and tons of different flavors.

The scallops were fantastic. Pretty good selection. The prices seemed high only because I was told this is a distributer and I thought it would be closer to grocery store price. I bought 8 scallops and 1/2 lb of halibut and it was $44. Both the scallops and the halibut were incredibly fresh, and they had a good selection of fish. I live downtown so I will probably stick to St. Paul fish market as it is next door and same prices. If you live close this is the spot for guaranteed freshest of the fresh fish.

By far the best seafood in Milwaukee! The staff are incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and helpful! They also have a good selection of wine, seasonings and a frozen section of seafood for your freezer.. oh and desserts! I love this place soo much! Fresh tuna, salmon, Chilean sea bass, halibut, crustaceans and by far the best oysters in town hands down!!

Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. The quality can not be beat. I've bought fillers from here and multiple grocery stores to compare. Cooked them side by side in the exact same fashion, and everyone has chosen the filets from Empire over anywhere else. Will definitely be a lifelong customer.

Its alright. Nice place. Fresh fresh fish. Not as much variety as I was expecting. But definitely going back. I also went on a Monday. Probably better variety after restocking.

I had a large catering order to pick up. It was packaged and ready to pick up when I walked in. Great customer service, and they carry fish products I can only buy through them in southeast Wisconsin
